Nice brother 👊 I put a Spektrum 8020T full range telemetry RX in mine and I also use the pack voltage sensor so I know when it’s time to land because some conditions allow for it to fly longer than others, it also gives me altitude as well as receiver voltage and esc temps, I’ve had mine up for 20mins on some days and around 10-15 on others, it varies quite a bit depending on wind, thermals and throttle management, I also discovered she likes slightly aft CG for longer soaring with less throttle input, I may add some down elevator to throttle mix to control its climb rate, I’ve been manually controlling its ascent, fantastic relaxing flying flyer and has incredible hang time in the air and gentle lander, well done 👍
Oh one thing to note, don’t chop the throttle from a full to stop it has an abrupt pre programmed motor brake and has been know you break the prop adapter, I back down on the throttle to idle before completely shutting it off when gliding/soaring
@@DeucesWildRC thanks Mike! I put 3 flights on it. Selling it to Mitch. Didn't excite me. I had buyers remorse immediately. Giving him a good deal on it
True. Hat mounted Mobius Action cam doesn't zoom so the plane disappears quick! One of my flying buddies is working on getting better equipment, plus an fpv drone for chase footage. 👍
@@czflyer3947 same camera I used on my hat, and if you see any of my videos, it's almost impossible to see the plane. I'm disappointed because a lot of the planes I have since sold and like to see old videos of me flying them.
Beautiful flight followed by a textbook landing 😊👍🏾 Congratulations on such a successful maiden flight 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 I fly mine on a spektrum 2200mAh 4S, set my usable throttle time to 6 minutes and fly her for over 45 minutes on a good day. Of course flight times depends on how many thermals are you able to catch. She is a great glider. I followed the RCInformer advice on how to use the original foam inserts this plane came in, and convert them into a carrying box for this plane and trust me, it makes transport this plane really easy...Check out his channel for that!...😊👍🏾 Have a great day...Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾😊🌵🦠😷🇵🇷
hey my friend ! when I assembled my asw 17 , I noticed one of the pushing rod was a little bit thicker than the other one ! so my question is where i have to fix the thicker one ? on the rudder or the elevator ?
@@czflyer3947 one of the rod it's thicker than the other ! can you check it out for me ! you have to pay attention ! but there is a little difference !
Great flight Ron!
Thanks Jim! Sold that plane to Mitch after 4 or 5 flights. Got bored

Bummer, we’ll I guess gliders aren’t for everyone!
@@DeucesWildRC still like my Radian XL, but I have to be in the mood for it, so it doesn't get flown often. Figured this 1 would sit forever
the black canopy and the green wing tip , that look very nice ! could you tell me what kind of paint it is ? they look so nice !
Yes! The green is Krylon fluorescent high vis green. The black is Rustoleum semi gloss black enamel.
@@czflyer3947 Rustoleum it's a spray cane ? and what about the krylon ?
@@Mike-pb5bj yes. Both are cans of spray paint
@@czflyer3947 It does not eat the foam ?
@@Mike-pb5bj nope. Just hold the can about 10" away from the foam & do light coats. No worries.
You need a better camera. This ultra-wide-angel camera prevents us from seeing the plane!

Did you set up as full house sailplane and able to do crow on it. I’m looking for an spm that may work with this set up.
Nope. Sorry. I sold it after 4 flights. Flew great tho, I just like speed
