Hey Morgan! I recently had one of my buns get GI stasis. He is also a lop and has had a few close calls with stasis that I was able to treat at home. This time, I took him to the vet and he recovered. I talked to the vet (he is a renowned rabbit focused vet!) and asked him about chronic stasis. He said this can be an issue in buns similar to how some people have chronic sensitive stomachs.
He recommended probiotics, which I gradually introduced with his pellets and it has worked wonders! I now sprinkle it (powder form) every other day. It’s especially good if they are ever on medication.
In addition, every time I brush them or they are getting pets sitting with me, I do a belly massage for a few minutes. They LOVE it. Basically you put your hands on either sides of their tummies and wiggle them from side to side gently.
I just thought I’d put this out there in case you haven’t tried this. Def ask your vet and do your own research of course ❤️ Love to you and Cinnabun!!!

Our Lop literally ADORES our teen son. She lays by him, lets him pet and hold her, etc. I am 💯the reason she lives with us and lives indoors. I do 95% of her daily care…..and she “tolerates” me. 😢

I enjoyed watching this vlog and hearing what you and Bryant and Cinnabun have been up to. I'm glad Cinnabun is feeling better after having stasis. She's soo adorable!! That's good you caught it early. Refusing treats is a definite sign something is wrong. My bunny does the same thing when he has stasis. Can't wait to see your new bedroom and bathroom refresh! OMG Aero peppermint bubbles. I live in NZ and grew up on that, it was my mum's favorite as well. Also if I get a kitkat chunky caramel and not get one for my bro he has that 'ruuude' attitude to me lol.
Also glad CB is feeling better. 2 weeks ago my boy Jin went into a mini stasis. So he got me sitting on the floor with him. He wasn't hungry for 6 hours, then suddenly he went raveonus for his greens after discovering the two blueberries I tried to coax him with earlier were there. So he was no pellets till after he had hay, then he got half and half of his oxbow multi vit and digestive treats.
It is the season change here too and he needs to be trimmed, my bro was like naaaah for so long then last night he stopped by my door gave Jin a headpat and went "Did you know you can make money off Angora fur?" I gave him a look like "You know he's only half angora the rest is mini lop?" "They don't need to know, it's so soft it feels like Angora fur, I looked up how to trim his fur back." Bro went from grrrr another bunny to finding ways to side hustle from my boy's fur only took 2 years to appreciate his presence lol
As a Brit who went to America for a fortnight and was so confused by your chocolate and candy options, yeah America kinda sucks for them, in my view! Mint Aero bubbles are newer but the original "aero" i feel was mint back in like the 90s. KitKat Chunkys are again, newer but you have 8-finger white kitkats in the US which I cannot get in the UK so - swings and roundabouts on that one!
I feel you, my bunny chews up or nibbles on my uggs and crocs all them time. It's so adorable to watch and I'm so happy you have a whole section on GI stasis, so (god forbid this happens to my bunnies), if this were to happen to my bunnies, I'll be ready. Love your videos

Hi. I need some advice.
So I have 2 bunnies Bubble and Trouble. They are both female and both spayed.
Bubble is the dominant one but recently Trouble has been becoming more dominant. She has been chasing Bubble away from all the food and not giving her a chance to eat the whole day. She has also been chasing Bubble and ripping out her fur.
They are sisters so they are bonded. They were born in 2021 and this has happened once before but it was eventually resolved with Bubble being dominant again.
Now I'm not sure what to do to stop Trouble from chasing Bubble away from the food.
If you know anything at all that can help, please reply.
