Now THIS is a real scratch gravy, CB! Looks awesome, no, fillers, no thickeners, just a straight gravy from the essential ingredients! Just watched this a third time and finally realized the true beauty of it. Thanks Chef!
Thanks Bob. This is one gravy that carries a flavor from the first bite to the last. I can't make this without getting a good count of the people eating and adding 5. LOL!
Chef that gravey looks perfect, no thickeners, no chemicals, just real food goodness cooked the real old fashioned cajun way. I'm sure you will place in the top one at the gravey &rice cook off in a few weeks. Looking forward to seeing that, especially the winner celebration. Yeah, as Keith said, enjoy the hell out of life.
+curmudgeon66 Oh yes my friend. there will be good food, good music, and good drink. Aieee! Wish you guys could come down and smoke'm up. Aieee! Take care my friend. .
Chef, I sure wish I could get down there just to taste your gravy and rice! That big, sturdy, deep cooking pot of yours has really served you well over the years! The way I see it, you won hands down! Yup, this sure is a great gravy! So, I'll say congratulations in advance! Keep on enjoying life! Oh yeah, be'be'! Aieee!
+Juanelo1946 LOL! Thanks for the compliment my friend, but these folks down here have all their secret ingredients and they're ready to use them. Aieee! It's all good my friend.
If you would leave the onions alone for 30 seconds, or a minute before you continually stir them, they would release more moisture and get all those bits off the pot. You could solve the onions as well.
Ay yeah that looks good, watch the whole video, I been looking for a good meat and gravy video, I think this no flour i just got me a aluminum pot im bout to try it. Thanks chef I wanna see about those books too
+TheRubiconInvasion Thank you my friend. I know when a piece of meat is good and it's going to be tender, and I tell you I nailed it my friend. Aieee! Thanks for visiting guy.

My mom dearly loves pork steaks, that her favorite cut of meat. She don't like my Cayenne pepper. I love it. '' Raw garlic a few bits and place it under the tongue will lower blood pressure fast!! '' or a cup of coffee, it not a cure but if one runs out of bp meds, it will work until you get yo meds..... My mom has High BP, that how i keep it down for her.... All i can say is AWESOME BROTHER CHEERS
@chefbourque yeah. They good to cook in. When lived in Louisiana I had many dishes cooked in em .....one the best I remembered was a rabbit smothered in a Cajun gravy similar to yours. Delicious. Am just kind of a health nerd in a way I guess. Some studies show scraping aluminum pots with stainless steel tho probably isn't the healthiest practice. That don't mean what's cooked in them isn't absolutely delicious tho. 😋
I've been offered to try out for Deep Fried Masters and Master Chef a few times. I don't care for competitive cooking. If I had a decent offer I'd consider a TV spot. I did have a 2 year contract with Universal Studios about 4 years ago. Thanks for asking.
