    Grant & Noah... I've really enjoyed watching you two out on our Idaho streams. It reminds me of me and my bud Danny in our day. I live right on the Boise, very near one of your favorite holes. I figure one day we'll meet... til then, 'tight lines' to ya both! Great video.

    Nice video and I know that river, but I’d really be interested in what kind of setup for winter fishing you’re using.

      I’m fishing 2 nymphs under an indicator! Sometimes if you get lucky, you’ll have a Baetis hatch and get some dry fly fishing!

    Since you are a guide at times.... Are you authorized to fish a river that is closed to guide outfitters? lol Just Joshin! great video. What were you guys using? I seem to be the "white fish" king every time I fish those spots.

    • @FireflyFishing
      @FireflyFishing  7 месяцев назад

      Used to be a guide! 😂 and thanks for your support. We were using a variety of bugs, including size 20-22 midges, any Baetis nymph size 20-22, a orange bead PT, and a variety of different colors in those nymphs, including olive, black and red!

    Is that an Oros or Thingamabobber you are using? What flies are you using. Put the big fish you are catching back in the water faster than you have been.

    • @FireflyFishing
      @FireflyFishing  7 месяцев назад

      That big fish never left the water just for that split second he held it up to the camera. 📸

      That was a thingamabobber, I use oros as well. However, they both work just fine. We were using a variety of bugs, including size 20-22 midges, any Baetis nymph size 20-22, a orange bead PT, and a variety of different colors in those nymphs, including olive, black and red.

      No they are in western Idaho. They are at a popular river every fly fisher knows about in the area. The river they are at is alway on top best trout streams in country.

      @@DontUputThatEvilOnMeits so funny seeing you fellow idaho fishermen gatekeep a river. im a bass fisherman and always share spots and techniques. its all the fly fishing dudes who can only hint at what REGION the river is in 😂😂 so pathetic.

    • @harpersmj
      @harpersmj 7 месяцев назад

      @@taceaclown what is really pathetic is a Bass Fisherman that wants to be a fly fisherman trying to look good, so he is dogging on a real fisherman.🙂. But the reason we don't want everyone to know where we are, is because we don't want your old POS Jeep that has been sitting in you front yard for the last 30 years ending up in our river. Not to mention the Styrofoam bait containers you are sure to bring and leave riverside. Plus, you can tell everyone where to catch Bass because no one wants to do something so boring when there are majestic trout in pristine clear rivers to be caught using classy fly-fishing tactics.
