I've had the pleasure and honor of meeting Joey Molland several times over the years. He's always been a class act.

God bless you Joey! You are the last of an absolutely minimally recognized band. I first saw Badfinger in early 1971 at a college in St. Paul MN (St. Thomas) at which they were driving a Ryder rental truck. Set-up was done by themselves and a few willing volunteers (YES, me included!!).
Absolutely star quality even at that early time.
Pleasant, gracious, funny - in addition to being simply GREAT.
Very much missed, likely, by the entire planet.
    Terry

Joey is talking with Ben Brookes. We recorded an album and Joey played on a couple of tracks. The drummer we had was Michael Bland (played with Prince) and the keyboard guy was Greg Inhoffer (played with Bob Dylan.) Here is one of the songs that Joey played on: ruclips.net/video/QZz3kKYxSJs/видео.html

Met Joey in 1989 , I walked into the Rock N Roll Cafe to buy tix for Badfinger. Place was closed but JM was there bringing in a guitar. I spoke to him for a good 10 minutes. I remember he looked a lot like McCartney and he was 42 at the time. Very nice to me and my wife. At the show I managed to sit next to Mike Gibbons and had a beer with him while the opening act played. Another gentleman and great, great drummer. Molland was no slouch on guitar.

Joey has always been one of my favorite guitar players. His left hand control is spot on.
