isn't it Tamiya who says low friction tires is helping with steering when put on the front (easier for the front wheels to slide sideway following the direction given by the rollers that hit and glide along the wall) and helping reducing jump when put on the rear (maybe by slipping on the last seconds of the jump so it doesn't really kicks off the ramp but rather stumbles over it perhaps) that's why they are sold as a pair instead a pack of four
