Hi Ella, is there a "base kit" of things I should have/accumulate (whether bought, found or created) like specific herbs, tools or stones to get started in my path?

Really enjoying this series, I have a question. I am a town folk Witch, it can be a bit difficult to harvest fresh herbs and plants etc... Is ordering dried or pre-picked one's online going to have the same punch. Thinking back to what you were saying about the "spirit" of things?
Thank you! 🤍 so in my opinion, the best is going to always be plants you either grew yourself or you foraged in nature. However, workings with dried herbs you order online will still be effective too. It won’t be exactly the same. I actually just started growing my own plants because I love the idea of connecting to the plant from the baby stage of seeds to being all grown up 😁 I have that more so on my Instagram (and IG stories) right now but will upload a vlog about this soon!
Oh and to quickly also add to that - I also live in a city without a garden so my seedlings are all inside on the windowsill but it’s a really lovely way to add some nature to the city witch life 😅
@@EllaHarrison thanks for that, yes my Son grew some beans in his windowsill last year, so I may see if I can borrow some space from him 😂 he has really big windowsills and lots of sun. Thank you so much xx

I do have to quickly recommend Magic Garden Seeds, they are based in Germany but ship internationally and they have a massive selection of seeds and also rare seeds, with a big focus on healing and magically associated plants too! So I live in the USA in Georgia. But my ancestors are mostly from all of Europe. And my DNA I'm 64.4 English so I am confused on which folk magic I should or would be correct for me. I've been wiccan for a long time but I just don't identify with some of the things in wiccan. And suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and Blessed Beltane Ella.😊
