People who are new to sewing need to know that you put interfacing on handles also. Without interfacing the handle are flemsy
Thank you for that advice. I tried it after making a few other totes. It is actually a lot better with the interface.
Maybe she didn’t add interfacing. It’s not necessary.
@@mariangies you can tell by looking at the finished handle that she did. I have 45 years experience sewing.
I agree that interfacing is needed.

Creo que en el minuto 9:26 cuando realizas las asas te has equivocado en la medida de los centímetros, (en el anunciado de las medidas)revísalos porque no se corresponden, serian 55.8 cms x 10.6 cms 😊de allí lo demás perfecto, esta hermoso el bolso! ❤

I would stitch down those arrows on the zipper box and I would finish all the seam edges with zigzags. Otherwise it’s going to fray. Also, the interfacing should be fairly stiff.

Hello and thank you for this excellent tutorial. Question… Do you secure the main zipper sides (fabric) to the bag when topstitching? I’m noticing my zipper sides stick out of the top of bag and need to be held for smooth zipper operation. I’d like them to be secured out of the way. Thank you!
