At first I'm thinking this is nothing but a 20 minute long commercial. But then it's 'given by', 'donated by' on and on the number of people that contributed to make this clutter box a home. 3M when I paint my home next year, guaranteed I'm buying your product because you support George making this happen.

Amazing show, props to 3M for sponsoring! I’m planning to refinish some heirloom furniture, and I’m going to look for that “faster” graduated sandpaper (hope it’s available in Canada 🇨🇦). Didn’t know it existed before this show. I’ve always liked 3M products, so it’ll likely be good, and as a DIY rookie, I can use all the help I can get!😁.
@@tngirlz4622 I've had luck finding them at my big box store (Home Depot, Lowes). Hopefully you can get some, because I think they're really quite amazing. I've used them on my own refinish projects simply because I know 3M sponsors this show. ❤

I have a friend that has hyper mobility caused by Elers Danlos Syndrome, Mattea’s movements reminded me a lot of my friend. I don’t want to get into anyone’s private business, just share my thought, in case it can help.

Does your son have cancer or a brain tumor or is he a quadriplegic firefighter who saved 12 kids from a burning fire? You need a sob story to be on the show. Autism is not enough.

This was an amazing rescue. I loved the apartment before as there was a lot of fun energy. But the renovation brings peace. I absolutely love this renovation.

I served 21 years in the Marine Corps as an infantry officer with 3 years in combat. I've had my Marines killed and wounded. Many of those wounds were horrific and live changing.
What they had to face when they eventually were released from the hospitals would make this couple's seem like a dream house.
Unfortunately there are not enough George to the Rescue to address the extreme sacrifices our veterans have made. I recently attended a "homecoming" of a Marine who was a triple amputee and our church had raised the money to give him a home where he could have some semblance of independence.
Some of corporate America helps such as the Gary Sinise Foundation, I see so many other corporations giving millions of dollars to BLM, ANTIFA, LGBDTXYZHIJK+ organizations who don't have anything close to the problems our mentally and physically combat veterans have. We have Gay Pride parades. We have massive LGBTQ+ support and events for their support. Hundreds of millions of dollars are give to them.
But it's churches and small organizations with donations that are helping wounded veterans.
My first job out of college was a Marine platoon commander in the Vietnam War 1968-69. The degree of mental and physical exhaustion and the exposure to the carnage, death, fear, and the mental and physical scars and disabilities would make the LGBTQ+ community grievances seem more like a formal afternoon tea. Yet corporations give them little to no support while dumping many millions of dollars to LGTBQ organizations whose only grievances are the rest of society doesn't fawn over and celebrate them them enough.
The LGBTQ+ community is treated and funded better than the Veteran's Administration that has a long history of abusing and denying our veterans.
When is there going to be disabled Veteran's Pride Parade??????????????????????????????
Crap, we no longer even have military or veterans parades on Veteran's day for fear of offending those who never made a sacrifice for our country. Remember, it not the Pentagon that sends our military in harm's way, it's the President without Congressional approval. And the fact is neither have the stomach to win what they started. I made it through 3 years of combat without a scratch, but I absolute despise our government for not allowing us to win.
Remember this. We won WW II in less than 4 years. We fought a third world cesspool North Vietnam for 10 years with 68,000 killed and we lost. We fought in the Middle East for 20 years and lost. See a pattern here???
The one and only way to win a major war is to commit overwhelming military force aggressively to break the enemy's will to fight as soon as possible. Ever since WW II, our government and people have not had the will to win and so my recommendation is that if the President and Congress don't have the will to win a major war, then stay home and let the enemy do what they want. You may not like the result but at least we will not have lost another war with all of the sacrifices for nothing.

I grew up in the 60’s,,, sitting around the dining table each night, watching the news giving us the daily death count of the young Americans who died over there in Vietnam 💔💔😢😢😢😢😢😢

When you say apartment dies that mean you rent or own? I hear apt and think rent not mortgage. I would think if you're making changes like this then this place you have a mortgage where you own. Just a question/thought. Praise God you beat cancer. It took my mother. What a beautiful family!

I wish they hadn't taken away so much of the color from the rooms - they were all so vibrant before, and just... happier colors. The transformation looks amazing, but, it's lost a LOT of the quirky personality that it previously had.
