When a society keeps looking back, it means it has peaked and is on it's way down. I really hope I am wrong, but there seems to be a lot of videos of LKY and the good ol days, seems desperate to me. Afraid that Singaporeans will forget LKY founded PAP? Or maybe the videos are meant for immigrants living in Sg? Don't get me wrong, I have tremendous respect & gratitude for LKY, and believe it or not even for LHL. I just don't have a lot of faith in the paper generals that LHL surrounds himself with.
There are at least 2 types of ppl: successful & unsuccessful. There are at least 2 types of mindset, positive & negative. Just looking back and moaning about the past glory likely lead to regression, continuously leaning from history to make adjustments will bring progression

"很驚訝用福建話，不是華語，要在今天沒有多少年輕人能聽得懂‘’，証明我的猜測是對的，不可能今天在台灣仍然有80％講閩南語。李光耀曾經說在60/70年代只有不到20％能講華語。因為當時大多數教育程度不高。
