Fun fact. 3 out of 4 World Champions are latin. Cody is half cuban, Bayley is Mexican, and Damien Priest is Puerto Rican. The other champion is Rhea who is Australian.
seth deserves a lot of praise for his role in this entire story. he promised he’d be cody’s shield and that he was. he knew that roman hadn’t let go of the past and how he ended up choosing to hit seth instead of hitting cody and just ending it there is a nice final touch to their story.
Wrestlemania 39, Cody suffered a heartbreaking loss in his 1st Wrestlemania main event Wrestlemania XL, Cody finally finished the story and became the WWE Championship
When Cody won my eyes watered. I resonate with him on a personal level. My dad owns a prominent construction business and I branched out to start my own and forge my own path, like Cody. He’s inspired me to bet on myself. Just shows if you’re passionate enough about something and forge ahead the cream will always rise to the top. Also Vince had it out for the Rhodes family. Dusty with the polka dots, Dustin with goldust, and Cody with 3 terrible gimmicks. But in spite of Vince they ALL got over. Cody went above and beyond getting over as we see now. The cream always rises to the top. Always bet on yourself
Cody went from a rookie, getting push as a tag team champion with Ted Jr, too a jobber, from the indies, and becoming a Face of the WWE. What a career for Cody Rhodes.

Went from five subscribers to now 1,000 subscribers two years later of the same date. I’ve finish the story! And this is just the beginning here for me on RUclips.
since Avengers has been the main comparison, allow me to milk the references even more: - The Avengers (2012): Cody returns at WrestleMania 38 - Age of Ultron: Cody wins HIAC with an arm and a half, returns to win the rumble - Infinity War: Cody’s story remains unfinished as he falls to Roman Reigns in Hollywood. The beloved hero falls to the powerful villain, and the consequences are of large proportions Endgame: With backup, one by one, the Bloodline falls until Roman is the only one left. Seth Rollins (Iron Man) sacrifices himself for a man that he, at one point, didn’t like or trust, but as he mentioned before, it’s bigger than them. Cody Rhodes successfully finishes the story in the city of brotherly love. I love pro wrestling 3000.❤
Yeah, but to me It's like a Rocky style of Storytelling peppered in with the Avengers format, especially Rocky III and IV (in two parts). The Early career of Cody was Rocky I and II from 2006-2013.

That was a good @ss video! Cody and Drew McIntyre out side of Kayfabe and any scripting at all are the greatest professional wrestlers ever. The win this weekend felt like a the end of the entire WWE, like s series finale. I felt like we all won. I have never being so satisfied with the wrestling product.
Cody won me over with that torn pec. He had no business wrestling that night and yet he did, for 30 mins. If he could do that, he could do anything. Congrats to him.
I liked what Cena mentioned to Cody that the belt will feel heavier every day he holds on to it. He has to put over his next few challengers into credible title contenders while still be worthy as champion to fans. And don't forget Roman does have a legitimate shot to win back the title by virtue of ex-champion's right to a rematch. Cody should do the rematch ASAP to settle it as a best of 3 (winning it at Summerslam), paving the way for the possible internal Bloodline feud between Roman & Rock that's bound to happen. But what I hope they do is give Cody a heel turn at some point before the next WM. Don't get me wrong, Cody is the top babyface now but he's been at it for 2 years. He needs to show his darker side soon. Except Cena, almost all former WWE champs and greats had a heel run or were heels themselves.
My orediction is that Cody became champion due to favors that others gave him along the way. So I think that during his tite reign, people are going to try and cash in those favors. Seth, Jey, Sami have built in reasons, Rock too. Any heel like Drew or Punk will come knocking of course.
Its crazy cody fans keep bashing Roman... When he DIDN'T have to give the title up... Mf's need to be thanking Roman and not slandering the man who carried the company on his back when NONE of you was even watching
Codys Fans Don't bash Roman. All WWE fans bash Roman because he is a Part-timer. He is great and propably one of GOAT. But if u r a champion u have to be present week and Week.
For a good story you need first a good villain Roman Reigns and his Era were absolutely perfect add some extra spices with someone like The Rock, so we have a perfect villain with a very good individual around, then you need good guys to face Reigns to the point you find your Hero and Cody is this guy, history, family everything was perfect for him add a guy who Cary wwe on his shoulder for a long time like Seth and now you have your perfect hero party. Then this just a masterpiece of writing from the Roman heel turn to the split of bloodline with jey (and Sammy), to the back to back win for Cody at RR, to the addition of Rock, to the endgame and you have more super heroes coming Cena and Taker. We had the best or one of the best work of writers in wrestling ever and the finale was perfect for ending the story, this will be remembered by everyone for years and years.
Hey Ross, sorry I haven't commented under any of your videos as of late,I been just going through a lot since this last August, ended up in the hospital and I actually almost died believe it or not like I was in so bad of shape that the nurses tried to make it where they pulled the plug on me but here I am still alive & kicking it,anyways I just wanted to check in for once & let you know what's been going on,I hope everything is going good with you though 😁
30:20 “They didn’t have to course correct, but they did.” I agree and disagree, Ross. They kinda HAD to. Remember Wrestlemania 34? Brock vs Roman? The fans did NOT want that match. And they let it be known by crapping all over it. That’s what they were facing if they didn’t let Cody have a chance to finish his story. The fans would have eaten them alive, we did not care if it was The Rock. We all love the Rock. But Cody’s story was the most important storyline in WWE since the Yes! Movement. It was the most emotional story since KofiMania. And it was for a star that hasn’t struck a nerve with the fans since Becky Lynch in 2019. For the most influential wrestler of the modern era since CM Punk. And we were not going to accept anything less than Cody being crowned at the 40th anniversary of WrestleMania. It is Cody Rhodes’s time. He is the face of the new WWE. He is the future of Professional Wrestling. And that future is in good hands.😊
So for those of you who didn't see it what the Rock get Cody was a lighter a metal torch lighter that you can flip basically in a reference passing the torch don't let me down and don't break my heart again he's acknowledging this is Cody's time we're in the triple h era I told you he would have made things better again no more PG bulshit no more Vince ever thank God 😂 although I do think Vince for the attitude and ruthless aggression era he fell off now it's triple h's time and we'll get the wrestling that fans always wanted😊
There's just going to be those hipsters who think they're so cool for having the unpopular opinion that Cody is overrated or that the fans will turn on him very soon or that he doesn't deserve to be the champion. To those people, I hope your edgy opinions gets you the validation that your divorced parents never gave you
I thought id be upset if Cody Rhodes won but i was actually happy i just wish the match went on longer i feel like Cody Rhodes should of took everyones in The Bloodline finishers and get beaten down brutally before help came and Roman Reigns should of kicked out of the triple cross rhodes or at least have Paul Heyman stop the pin
Like imagine Cody Rhodes finally hits the three cross rhodes but Roman Reigns kicks out then theres that feeling that maybe he is unbeatable spear to Cody Rhodes kick out another spear attempt Cody Rhodes turns it into a pedigree another cross rhodes 1.....2.....3
I think Cody should use his style of copy other wrestlers but when he fight against Roman he use all the finisher moves from Roman's past opponents other than him but Roman can counter and kick out all of that until Cody use outside WWE wrestlers move like Omega and Okada that Roman never know how to counter it and he keep use those move until Roman got tired before he hit 3x CrossRhodes
Cody not being an evp for AEW began thier decline and will be remembered as the begining of the end for AEW, with the young bucks and their friends getting all the power and using for themselves rather than the show or talent,
Only Cody and Punk can be remembered as having feuds and putting new talent on the wrestling map from AEW, MJF was a great heel and became the most talked about in the Punk feud, Darby Allin was a jobber till his match with Cody where he had the best showing to date
I really don't enjoy Cody story from the start! He better gives us cinema storyline and elevate others superstar the way Roman did. Because I can't forget how the like of Shinsuke were buried when they finally had a good gimmick. Only for the sake of the story. And how Seth lost 3 time in row just for the sake of the story. Time to give back
Video got one thing wrong. JBL legit got rich in tbe stock market. It wasnt just storyline. Dude wrote a book on investing and was a regular commentator for news channels (mostly fox business). His gimmick change was the real him amped up to 11 He always sucked in the ring tho
I'll never understand the Tribal meatriders. Cody is the future and y'all are already saying his reign sucks. He won the belt 2 days ago, be patient you babies!

@razfin7517 Me and my older brother Saud the exact same thing thats funny
It's a good story for sure but I'll be thankful if I never hear "finish the story" again
Time to give back
I believe if Seth wasn’t there, Cody Rhodes would not be champion. Seth was really Tony Stark.
so “the lock” myrise story was a ripoff of Codys actual story? Sheeshhh
Only problem I have with all this is the facts the the undisputed titles is ugly asf😭
Video got one thing wrong. JBL legit got rich in tbe stock market. It wasnt just storyline. Dude wrote a book on investing and was a regular commentator for news channels (mostly fox business).
His gimmick change was the real him amped up to 11
He always sucked in the ring tho
Lucky it’s was a character people love to hate.
I'll never understand the Tribal meatriders. Cody is the future and y'all are already saying his reign sucks. He won the belt 2 days ago, be patient you babies!
Yall still on Cody's nuts
Look at the incels in the comments crying. Guess what?, crying doesn’t make any money. HHH needs to step it up before this becomes AEW. Fuck the hardcores. It’s time to make wwe appealing to everyone
Mania XL was mid.
