    Please subscribe. I have a new video every week.
    Thank you to our Platnium Patreon
    Jonathan and Austin
    Also I am proud that I didn't say Goofy's coaster one time :D

    The gags in Toontown are so interesting and fascinating. I never knew about the crates and they have special effects, really awesome. I held the wheel still while riding Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin and it went successful with no problems at all. You really make my days with these videos.

      I was lucky enough to go to ToonTown when I was a child, about the right age for the target audience, quite soon after it opened! I remember the bounce house, and the ball pit, and a lot of other things that are gone now! I Went back like 20 years later (I rarely take vacations) and saw all the stuff I remembered missing. I didn't realize it at first, I just felt like 'is this actually THE Toowntown? it feels like something missing... it's not quite like I remember it was' and after about an hour it started to dawn on me and I was a little disappointed, but I immediately realized that the bounce house probably had a fair number of kids colliding (I almost had a head-to-head collision in there myself, but I had quick reflexes and yanked my head back and out of the way.) and that ball pits are very unsanitary by nature, so I just nodded to myself and said 'ah, yeah I can see why'. Still, my nieces and nephews didn't get to experience those, and I kind of wish they could have.

      By the ways, on the same day our host Jake met you at the park, he met Mickey at his house with the Steamboat Willie outfit as well. There are 4 possible outfits that Mickey could wear while meeting him. They are Steamboat Willie, his default look with the yellow shoes and red pants, Band Concert and our favorite The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

A private server named Toontown Rewritten exists now, it opened for closed alpha in 2013 shortly after Toontown Online closed, and has been going on for almost 5 years! • @sunlightwhite3337
      @sunlightwhite3337 5 лет назад

      @@TheBdudeGamer Oh good then you're the one I want to talk to...
      I like TTR (The new Tootown) because its just like the Old TTO plus a few improvements on the old game like new mini games , boarding groups, contests and TTHQ. Also , unlike TTO its FREE. The bad thing about TTR though is since its a smaller group of ppl running it, chats aren't moderated as strictly as the old TTO. This is a problem because a lot of ppl who play the new TTR played TTO as kids and are now college age/adults so they talk very inappropriately - a lot of sexually suggestive talk, drug talk, and bullying which is not good to see on a game that has and is designed for children. And even with them unable to type out some bad words, they find a away around it by either using other words that sound similar (like *boo tea) , spelling it out letter by letter, or talking in obvious euphemisms like "My cane is long and hard". They also will "get married" or "date" or "flirt" -- These are ADULTS "dating" toons that could very well be children or minors and its easy for them to get the persons information/social media just by using the methods i listed above like spelling it out letter by letter. I've played my 5 year old daughters toon for her and I've had male "toons" flirt with her, ask her to date them, give her their instagram, and talk in sexual euphemisms (this is done a LOT in the beanfests in DDL) . Right now shes small enough where she doesn't "get" what they are saying but I do and it disgusts me - and its dangerous and a little frightening - that they are talking like this on a kids game where I know at least SOME of these adults KNOW the possibility of that they are speaking to a child and are doing it intentionally. I have asked them to stop and I have seen other "toons" complain and tell them to stop but most of the time they don't and say something like "well there aren't just kids on this game so that's just how it is".
      So you end up as a parent having to disable free chat and set it to "Speedchat only" so your kids wont be able to read custom chats form other toons. Which sucks for the kid to have to be limited to pre-selected phrases just because grownups don't know how to behave -_-. Being able to free chat helps kids learn to read and write - my 5 year old can already read and write as well as any 6 or 7 year old and she plays TTR almost every day and I saw her reading, writing, and typing skill increase rapidly since she started playing at age 4.
      You can report ppl who chat badly but most of the time nothing happens to them other than, I've been told by others that they might get a temporary ban on custom chat, then as soon as they can talk again they are back at it. Personally I have reported a couple repeat offenders and I've never seen anything happen to them.
      But I think if someone is reported more than twice THEY are the ones that should have their account locked to "Speedchat only" - Kids and adults who know how to chat responsibly shouldn't have to be the ones restricted.
      Anyway...that's the one BIG negative difference between Disney's TTO and TTR. At least when Disney was running it, they were good at catching and responding to reports about ppl like that and had a "No tolerance" rule when enforcing consequences.
      Hopefully you guys look into that more and maybe think about doing that to repeat offenders.

    Just got back from a weekend at Disneyland! Had a great time and had fun showing off my Provost Park Pass knowledge with my family. So thanks! Had an idea for a future video. When we came through security we were a bit surprised by some of the prohibitions. There was the usual drugs and alcohol prohibition, but what surprised us were the No Selfie Sticks (mine had to be confiscated :( and no one can wear costumes over the age of 14.
    I figured these must have some interesting stories behind why they became prohibited.
    Just a thought.

    • @ShalmendoGlineux
      @ShalmendoGlineux 2 года назад

      I think I can answer your questions! (probably because I practically do nothing but watch Provost videos all day... well some others too...)
      For the SELFIE STICKS; All moving attractions have a safety system they call the 'envelope of protection'. As part of finalizing a ride, they use a specially equipped ride vehicle with a large cylinder and a bunch of breakable (looked like paint stirring sticks in a photo I saw) boards extending past the big cylinder. The idea there is to run it through the attraction and make sure no guest can touch or get hit by any of the ride elements. This way even if you put your hands up/out you're still safe (feet too for the most part, but ALWAYS listen to and obey the safety instructions, even though you've heard them a million times). A selfie stick, or anything else that could extend beyond the envelope of protection could cause injury to yourself, or another guest (i.e. behind you if it gets knocked out of your hand on space mountain and hits people behind you), so they typically forbid anything that's long, or extendable. That sucks for photographers and videographers, or people just wanting to get a selfie, but it's there for your SAFETY.
      And the costumes; If you're over the age of 14 and you're wearing a costume, it's possible that someone might mistake you for an actual character in the park. Since you can sometimes see characters wandering through different lands and such, Disney doesn't want you to be mistaken for the 'real' Cinderella or whoever, or to intentionally dress up as a character and imitate one of Disney's characters to intentionally spoil people's days with insults and pranks as that character. Disney wants to make sure that all characters you could possibly meet are the 'genuine' article that have gone through their rigorous training plans for perfect character portrayal. I'm not kidding, they have to go through A LOT of training to make sure they can not only act the part perfectly, but stick to rules about hand placement during photos (to prevent lawsuits), and all sorts of other requirements including being the exactly right height, build, and weight for each character you're qualified to portray. (it's complicated.) When a little child is dressed as Princess Tiana, it's kind of obvious that she's not the 'real' Tiana, but an older person dressed that way could be mistaken as the 'real deal' and end up being asked for selfies and such. Disney just wants to make sure that if there's someone in a costume, it's THEIRs, adhering to their strict rules, and gone through their extensive training and everything.

    I've been playing the fan made revival of Toontown, and I also play a duck with a very similar name. Prof. Miles Featherby.

    Personally, I don't like getting a fastpass for Roger Rabbit, mainly because I'm impressed with the queue. It's really immersive, just like Indiana Jones. It does get boring, and time consuming, but almost worth it
