  • hi, I hope you're well!
a very unorganised and rambly monthly update because two weeks of exams and revision have fried my brain a little, but it was very lovely to sit down and catch you up on all the journaling bits I managed this month, felt a little like a Sunday catch up with a friend over coffee☕️
As always, feel free to update me on your journals this month!
    Wish you a lovely week,
    Sara

I love the way you transitioned your TN to an art/photography/creative journal and that is the coolest tea bag holder ever! I would’ve kept it too! Definitely take photos of your commissions!

May was a really busy month for me, too. Exams, birthdays, everyday life problems... I could barely spend some time with my journals and planner. I'm glad to see that I wasn't alone :) Thank you so much for your videos. I discovered your channel a month ago, and since then I have been watching your videos while I journal or do some commonplacing. They are good company :D Greetings from Argentina :)

I definitely feel you, feels like everything and anything happened in May. I tried to keep up and document everything as best as I could but it’s not always easy! Very happy to have been keeping you company🤍

The second Murakami book is "Sputnik Sweetheart" in English :) I think the first one is "Novelist as a Vocation" Loved this video, so fun to see your notebooks

I do find that now that I’ve gotten used to it, I actually prefer the new Tamoe River paper and it takes fountain pens beautifully

I prefer writing with fine or extra fine nibs, I do like to write titles with broader nibs

You are inspiring me to use my TN more! Such beautiful pages and the layout is always immaculate! How do you size those photos? I really like how the size of the photos are so intentional for the size of the TN!

That’s so lovely to hear! Hope you’re having fun with it🤍
I did some tests printing things out and basically keep reference size images as layers in a procreate file so each week when I go to print my photos I just import all the photos from the week and resize them using those as a guide! Sounds more complicated than it is ahah
If it helps my usual size photo both in the tn and in the Hon is 6x8cm and the larger photos in the tn are about 10x13cm. Hope it helped!

New viewer here! i was definitely confused but i enjoyed the video anyway cause you still indirectly said what each one was for (?) and your spreads are really pleasant to look at so i really didn't mind :3

I’m glad it still somewhat made sense! I usually give the general breakdown at the beginning but I completely forgot this time ahah (also I worry it maybe gets a bit repetitive for regular viewers? It’s always a bit confusing ahah), thank you! Hope you’re having a lovely day^^
