I'm guessing you hear Nirvana in Oasis since Nirvana was around for 4 years before Oasis formed.
Exatamente
Only Beatles heard in oasis
I think they influenced Oasis, not vice versa …:) Both great bands
Obviously kurt died in 94 just as oasis started to get big
At any rate - *INXS is Better Than Oasis.*
Nirvana were a great band, Oasis were a bit shit and Beatles clones.
Yup Noel even confirmed this. He thought Kurt was a brilliant songwriter
Yeah Nirvana was formed in 1988 and Oasis in '91. That sort of nasally punk whine that both Kurt and Liam Gallagher appropriate more likely comes from Johnny Rotten.
“Just because you are paranoid does not mean that they are not really after you” is my favorite nirvana lyric. Because most people just let it float over their head. The point is that being paranoid does not negate your fears, cuz they could still be true. Cuz feeling like they are after you is only untrue if they are not really after you. What if they are after you? Should you apologize for your paranoia if it is true?
That was a common saying, a very long time before Kurt was born. It's not a Nirvana lyric
"You know your right" by Nirvana is the last song they recorded
And one of their best, to be honest.
You know your right what?
Oasis connection?!!? This was 1991. Oasis had just formed. There's no way Kurt Cobain knew who they were. Strange comment.
Strange is the perfect way to describe it… why even… how can one… ah never mind. (No pun intended.)
Sounds like they need to do a bit ‘o research 😂
Gotta do nirvana top of the pops now, they made a joke of it
Brits always try to take credit for everything. Nirvana came before Oasis and Kurt was too much of an artist to be anyone but himself on stage... And the Ramones invented punk rock. Come at me, bro.
Ramones, The Sonics, The Enfields, The Stooges and Black Flag helped invent Punk, yes!
They were all American!
While I love The Damned, The Sex Pistols and The Clash, most of the Americans came first.
It's also said most British people don't consider Iggy Pop and Punk, and I'm like wtf!!!
Fair but there was a huge punk ride in the U.K. before America and it help bands like the Ramones flourish. Sex Pistols, The Clash, neck even some British metal was another reason for American punk.
'never met a wise man, if so it's a woman...' so Kurt thoroughly
Y’all keep playing the best nirvana sets
One of my top 10 albums ever. Yes I'm a Gen X guy. While working at a autoparts,I played this tape constantly, whi
X never stops hearing Nirvana😀🤟🤟🤟
When I was an alien, cultures weren't opinions.
LOVE THIS SONG
Love it!!....can you guys please do more comedy reactions?!
Second guitar player broke his nose when he tossed it up in the air. Came down on his face...
That happened at the VMA 1992
That was at the MTV VMA 1992, and it was the Bassist, they didn't have a second guitarist yet.
Oasis WTF???? Are you talking about???? Noel was still carrying amps around for the inspiral carpets, Nirvana had already released Bleach.
Gotta do the Top of the Pops performance. They weren’t allowed to play live only sing live so they made a mockery of it.

@@NoHate606 Iron Maiden did the same thing on the German show P.I.T. when they performed Wasted Years. All the band members kept switching instruments during the song.

Oasis??? Hahaha! No! I’m sure Oasis tried to sound like Nirvana
Lol, exactly, Nirvana was around since 1987, Oasis formed in 1991.
JAMAIS EXISTIRA OUTRA BANDA IGUAL AO NIRVANA
Nirvana came out 1989 first album. This was around 1991. Oasis first album was 1994
WoW someone playing a song that isn't Smells like teen spirit, Heartshaped Box etc. TY for playing the real ones
lol
They were supposed to play Lithium and the chose not to do it. There is a video when Dave Grohl goes back on this show with "Them Crooked Vultures" and they talk about this when they first met and how this went down.
I always forget Dave G was on nirvana
I liked Nirvana, I *LOVE* Foo Fighters 🤘🏻
@@Darmesis i like nirvana, I like foo fighters more, wouldn't say I love them though
How do you forget that lol
Sounds a lot like "Lithium" to me lol. Oasis were a huge fan of Nirvana's
Oasis started or got big in 1994.
Kurt died in early 1994 (April 5th I believe)
Funny to see your 3 heads bobbing in unisom right :) u guys felt it for a Nervana groupie dis is the loudest one they performed live.... ever imo
smells like teen spirit should be next up
Oasis formed the year this was recorded so it’s probably liam taking inspiration from kurt but tbh I think the mic was too high for him in this performance because he doesn’t really stand like this in other performances
React to The 1975 - Frail State Of Mind live at the Late Show, not related to Nirvana, just a great song
Oasis is a budget version of Nirvana
Metallica at the MTV European awards is probably the best example of a band not playing the song they were supposed too.
Yea, Kurt Cobain definitely got his vocal style from Liam Gallagher, starting in '87 🙄
Seeing some oasis comments on here for some reason. It should be noted however that Suede was the only band from that little genre that Kurt Cobain liked. Suede is still a good band. Their Night Thoughts album is brilliant. Better than Dog Man Star in my opinion
Oasis ….the disrespect….fucking Gallagher not a piss on kurt
I reckon you should react to any alestorm song if your up for catchy pirate metal and up for a laugh
As they don't take themselves too seriously
Referencing Oasis in the lead vocal is the funniest thing I’ve ever heard Nirvana were around before Oasis, were even on the scene. In fact, Kurt died around about the time Oasis brought out their first album so that’s silly reference. It’s Liam sounds like Kurt rather than vice versa.
Oasis definitely weren't influenced by Nirvana. Stone Roses, Sex Pistols and The Beatles influenced the Oasis boys.
Having said this, Liam Gallagher and Kurt Cobain are my two favourite voices of all time just because they aren't trained and they strained their vocal for the art and the performance. Both excellent frontmen!
Oh Nirvana influenced Oasis. Especially Noel. Google it. Noel loved Kurt.
