Hi there and thank you for watching. This was my very first ever cockpit. I wanted it to look as best as I possibly can. Thank you for your kind words. Take care and best wishes 😊😉😊
Hi there and thank you for watching, I appreciate you stopping b6 and subscribing. Yeah, I’m afraid I’m very old school and too frugal to by an airbrush system, hence the brush works. 😉😊 maybe one day, I might get an airbrush system, just hard to know which is the best system. Best wishes 😉😊
Thank you Nanni. Still learning. Thank you for your hints & tips. Next up I will try wheel arches, might have to take another look at your videos to remind me though. Hope you're keeping safe and well.
Great job, i just draw my figures eyes closed because im so bad at eyes haha. The ebrake is nice I just single tone it, also just noticed your seat belt bar in the back, Ive been painting that black, silver or roll bar color looks so much better
Hi Rex, thank you again for watching some of my first videos on RUclips and my return to this hobby. So, this was my very first ever cockpit attempt and my very first driver heads. In my day of being just 13 years old, back in 1984, my first Tamiya RC was the Hornet. Well, you had mechanical ESC and brush painted the polycarbonate bodies with PC paints. The name of the game back then was paper round money being spent to make the Hornet go as fast as possible😊😉😊 I suppose that has changed eh? 😆😂. But technology has changed. This cockpit was one of the extras to go into the Audi, that along with homemade LED’s for lights ( remembering ohms law of course 🤔😆) take care, keep well and all the best to you and the family 😉😊
@@JF-RC it has changed a lot for sure! In 1986, I was just born! Wow! I had a mechanical esc with my first Tamiya in 1999, I liked it very much and actually kept the mechanical esc for a long tome before upgrading. The cockpit caught my eye because I try not to let my cars go driverless, no ghost cars in my fleet, I dont believe in ghosts lol
@@rexrcs I don’t believe in ghosts either, you’re safe for another year, i promise not to let the mother-in-law out until halloween 2022😂😆😂 keep safe and well, all the best.
Brush painting is better for the interiors it gives a more realistic texture to the surfaces. The real life cars were far from perfect inside so using an airbrush Is not the way to go. You'll get the backhanded compliments from some saying it looks good for a brush painted job but they're really saying it would be better air brushed which is complete nonsense. The way you've done it is bang on and not just for a first attempt it stands up to any attempt.😊
Hi TTH77, thank you for watching and your great comment. I’ve done another interior for another project and another rally cockpit, all brushed painted, as like you say, the texture and depth of colour is much better than airbrushing. Thank you for your encouragement, it’s appreciated. 🖐️😉😊best wishes 😎🖐️
I really like the grey centre gives the spare wheel more definition. I bow to you Sir ! Cracking job

Excellent first cockpit, John, well done with the brush painting - you have done much better than most - hat's off to you! :))
