Thanks for the video guys. I really like the old setup. This setup when your bringing in the line we can't see the fish till there being pulled into the boat. Old view we got to see the fish in the water all the way up and into the boat.
MAT YOU ARE A REAL FISHERMAN!!!..FOR A YOUNG MAN YOU HAVE MASTERED YOUR SKILLS!!!..YOU MUST HAVE A GOOD TEACHER, YOUR FATHER 😮...BUT THE LOVE OF FISHING 🎣 COMES FROM THE HEART ❤️..ONE DAY YOU WILL BE RUNNING THE SHOW 😂😊.
Really appreciate you sharing some of the details about the gear, and the knots. You fellows would be very good company on any job, and are a really good team. Thanks for sharing your work ,and videos.
Thank you guys for taking us fishing with you! I really enjoy watching these videos and you explain everything really well! I always enjoy watching any type of fishing or hunting videos! And a big Thank You to the fishermen for keeping food on our tables! I know like farming, fishing is often a thankless job and people take both for granted. I appreciate all the hard work and long hours that you put in! You more than earned a like and my sub. You also earned my respect! 😊 Now I hope you guy get some barn doors!
At 29:42 Matt, you turned into a well oiled machine! Love watching this stuff. Been away for a bit, so i gotta watch the other 2 i missed. Cheers family 🍻🇨🇦 Darn, ended so soon lol
Ki-ur-ic (use a throaty growl while saying) is what I grew up calling Bullheads aka skullpins, Irishlords. Enjoy watching you fish around the island where I grew up and did the same , but not the same, quite a few differences than the way of 40 years ago.
Is ice an expense that you have to pay for or is it provided by the fish processors as part of helping to guarantee a better product that they get at the port?
Nice to see you out again in pretty decent weather for the last week of September. How come T wasn't with you? What's your plans for the other boat when she's fully up and runnin? Will you use her the same or split the type of hauling between them? Thanks for the action. Fish on! 🐟🐟🐟
Because trust me that ain't fun when your hook gets snagged on the table when the boat is going and you have yo tell the captain to stop the boat for a little bit, I've did that a couple times fishing old harbor and it's scary as hell when that happens.
Ooo I know what that knot is that’s the ever popular fish tale knot 😂😂😂 swing around here and pick me up I’ll help move the bait you do know a short cut to New York right
Len,/Matt: Maybe you should consider a holder to pin removed gangions onto, as needed , while Matt is attending to scrap fish or wrestling a hot halibut. Maybe a 3/8 SS rod say 12 or 14" long, bent and welded on current bullwork railing just aft of hauling station. Your gangion handoffs right now appear to be ackward for both of you.
well the fish will eat that old bait so your feeding the stock your trying to catch . Alternative, throw it in a bucket , maybe freeze it and use it for crab bait , bring it ashore and feed it to wildlife maybe
Nice EARLY morning video to go with my coffee. Thanks.

Nice fish
I’d just love to be doing what you are doing living the dream in a dream land just beautiful 👍🇨🇦
Thanks! We love it here, even when the weather is bad. It’s really a beautiful place to live.
Good deal like all the show , Lucky Edmonds in Candler NC

Good
I think I've missed a couple of streams why have you moved back to the rear of the boat to set your lines another great video I must say 👍👍👍
The worst part about heading south is that coming home is all uphill! lol

When you're setting out, the small tubes you place the bait in before clipping the line, is that for safety?
That's to keep the baited hooks from getting snagged on the tube or swinging when there's little bit of waves.
Because trust me that ain't fun when your hook gets snagged on the table when the boat is going and you have yo tell the captain to stop the boat for a little bit, I've did that a couple times fishing old harbor and it's scary as hell when that happens.

Better catch this year, guys.
Seems like itd be worth a try to move the reel to the stern a bit more so you could cast from starboard too?
How are you liking the set up with the reel mid deck, as opposed to back against the pilot house?
También les puede poner calamares
I was just thinking that i should ask you to show us the knots you use and what do ya know. You show us lol.
Do you ever fish rod and hook during soaks to try other depths to search
I can't get over how wide those skulpin mouths are. Remind me of a large mouth bass compared to a small mouth bass.
did i miss why it was such a long trip?
Haircuts for the crew or just the captain? Bob in Nevada
Do you keep a banana cleaner cleaner w/ phone/ipad holder on boat?
Any Superstitions? like no bananas on boat, no hats on bed, no red and green socks(made that up)
What does the ice cost you? Or what would they charge a normal non commercial guy for it?
Why did you move ? Better fishing ground?

If it was easy it’d be call catching haha
Ponles a los anzuelos sardinas esa carnada se ve que no pesca
Do you have job vacancy bro
Can’t you reuse the bait?
I went fishing yesterday and the fish ate well I of course caught nothing lol
🇵🇭💞💞💞
Why do you toss your old bait in the water ?
Excuse me for cutting in, but why not? What would be the alternative?
well the fish will eat that old bait so your feeding the stock your trying to catch . Alternative, throw it in a bucket , maybe freeze it and use it for crab bait , bring it ashore and feed it to wildlife maybe
didnt i hear yall say ice and bait were free or was it just ice? either way thats an expense i'm sure yall are glad to not be paying
....GO GETUM BOYS...........
