    I'm trying to make one up for my wife but encountered some confusion compared to the written pattern, the written pattern says to stitch (1sc, ch2, 1sc) in the same stitch, then skip 1 st and continue as before, but in the video you said to sc1, ch2 then sc1 in the next chain and then skip the next stitch. I'm quite confused over which pattern to follow as neither of mine looks like yours at the end of the 9th round ...

    I was hoping you could help me with some Wilma.
    One of my dearest friends was born and raised in Germany and I very much want to make her something but I’m worried about the yarn. I use mostly acrylic but I know most other places have a finer selection of natural fibers. Or is that me just making an assumption? My question is, is acrylic frowned upon and I should use wool?
    Sorry to bug you about it but she’s like a sister to me and I love her so dearly
    Thank you ❤️

      Hi Kathleen,
      You sound like an amazing friend! ♥ So nice you're willing to make her something. Do you already know what you want to make? It really depends on the item you want to make to say what fiber is better. In most cases you can use acrylic though! :)

    • @masuganut2082

      Wilma Westenberg I literally placed an order for a skein for her like five minutes ago lol.
      Thank you, she is one of my dearest friends though we have never met in person. She’s incredibly kind and sweet. I wanted to make her a shawl scarf. I found it for free on Ravelry. It’s knit. I picked a cake yarn that has turquoise and aqua.
      I so appreciate you responding to me and confirming that acrylic wouldn’t be a mistake. Thank you so much for your kindness. ❤️❤️

    So I followed the stitch count correctly and did the bows on the collar so there's 25. I'm on the part where you attach the yarn and make 2 hdc in chain 2 space and 1 hdc in between. For some reason I only have 50 and not the needed 51 for a 3x. I double checked stitches to see if I missed one and I didn't....what am I doing wrong

    I've always wanted to make a dress like this but hesitate because of the holes crochet creates. Do you have an undergarments on to keep from being immodest?

    • @WilmaWestenberg
      @WilmaWestenberg  5 лет назад +2

      This dress didn't need an undergarment as there were no holes, but you can definitely wear something under it if you need to! ♥

    You got to fast and you talk too fast and you’re not taking her time for me to catch on I don’t know about everybody else but I’m a beginner and I really want to make the dress if you could just slow it down and be a little bit patient and go to the stitches so I could follow along because I cannot read a pattern thank you

    • @Julie-lq4le
      @Julie-lq4le 4 года назад

      I agree .... I liked the pattern but I could not follow along because the camera work and lack of lighting very disappointed

      Tap the video, cat the three dots in the upper right-hand corner. Scroll down toplayback speed then select the speed that is good for you. You can slow it down as much as you want or you can even just pause the video.

    I had a really hard time following... you seemed to be talking very fast. and not really letting us see what ur doing. it's a very cute dress I have problems reading patterns guess I need to get better before I can do this. it is not beginner friendly
