Once in a blue moon KAI's unique yodel cry when he sings. His voice is just so distinct to me, aside from being the idol of idols across K-pop, and the visual dancing machine of the group. EXO is such a force!!!

Monster this era i was into kpop 2016 even i thought i haven't listen monster that time, my first kpop song I listen when I into kpop was exo Pre debut song what is love, i fall for the vocals that is how baekhyun become my bias and D.O bias wrecker 😊 my favorite moment monster is the rap part and of course the High note kai lay High five suho part xiumin too and D .O said you can call me monster.
honestly, this is one of the most competent songs I have heard, it is wild at how good this song is, this is one of those ones that just stands a head taller than what you hear elsewhere

You need to check out Runaway in the Don’t Fight the Feeling album. Chanyeol yodels in there as well. That is the only other EXO song that I remember hearing a yodel. It sounds really good but it’s a part of a verse not in the chorus. If you have a chance, please listen to it. Love Monster - my 2nd favorite title track. It was dethroned just recently to Cream Soda.
Cream Soda is a very valid choice though, that song is so so so good! this is crazy! hearing that Yodeling is actually in KPop is the most random yet awesome thing ever! although I can't do it, it has ran in my family for generations so it is so cool and kind of personal to hear

I love everything about Monster, I mean it's a dark concept and those give me life. It's nearing almost decade since this masterpiece was dropped and I still can't get over how smooth Sehun's rap is not to mention the killer visuals for that part. Adds Monster to top 10 list (currently 18 tracks long). Of course it has to be in there! It's my favourite title track. And my favourite EXO rap section. I never overlook Chanyeol and Sehun, they are both second for me only after Baekhyun. The first rappers I ever liked in my whole life. Now half my biases are rappers. I am floored we never made you do this during EXO month last year! It's so good. The yodel was Kai btw! He's the idol of idols for a reason. He's an ace!

Ugh I miss Kai and Sehun. They are my first kpop military hiatuses because when I became a fan, Baekhyun, Suho, Chen and Chanyeol, even Taemin, were all already halfway through serving and I didn't know any better if they were around or not because I was so busy watching all their past content it made no difference. Now though, I feel how long it's been since we saw Kai. 🙁

I listened several times, I think it was processed. It was one note, so really just a flip from mix to head back to mix.
So, I went and watched a live version and it's interesting. From what I can gather, they almost vocal whip it live rather than Yodel. It might be too difficult to mix that with the choreo live. Still sounded good
