For folklore, you could do it on this channel. She did a special that's on Disney called "the long pond studio sessions." This album was written during lockdown, and when they were able to, she, Jack (producer/musician), and Aaron (producer/musician) met up at Aaron's studio in upstate NY to play it together for the first time. She has a short conversation with either Jack or Aaron or both of them prior to each song to explain her process, inspiration, etc. I think both of you would like it.
I went to the concert and the time between Eras is minutes. It is so smooth and it’s shocking how quick she does outfit changes. The acoustic set is different every night so you never know what she will do. She likes to mash up songs now so she’ll pick songs with similar meaning and sing them together. It’s fun as a Swifties to guess what she is going to do each night.
28:35 that was also for her 87th show which Travis was at! She also sang The Alchemy as a surprise song! It was super cute! Anytime he’s there, it always feels like a concert just for him 😭🥰
You two's chats are fun through this - especially about the dancers and things you notice on stage. Also, 1989 is Travis favourite album so you might be right about Blank Space. You'd probably get a kick out of watching an edit from her 87th show about her outfits and Travis being there.
yeah, Travis said it's his favourite song, she wore the Chiefs colours at her 87th show and she did blow him a kiss after she sang "and you love the game"
Hi. Folklore and Evermore songs are FICTIONAL... She made it all those STORIES up. 😄 and Betty, James and Inez NAMES were used in her song. these are Ryan Reynolds' + Blake Lively's children. BUT with exception of "My Tears Ricochet" is inspired by her former RECORD LABEL CEO Scott Borchetta (who SOLD her WHOLE MUSIC CATALOGUE against her will)
'peace' is not fictional; 'invisible string' is not fictional; 'mad woman' is not fictional.. 'the lakes' ...not all the songs are made-up stories. She was able to experiment with creating characters with their own storylines on these albums, but not everything is fictional.
@@MsAmberAnne Exactly. I think that somehow her saying that she was able to create characters came off as them all being made-up. I remember thinking that, too, until I listened. It may be that on some of them she was inspired by a feeling/event in her life and then metaphorically wrote about it instead of it being diaristic. Not sure why she says she's not done that before these albums, because a lot of TS is made up bc she got inspiration from movies/books (didn't have real experience yet) and even on Speak Now the title track is not her experience and not something that actually happened although it was inspired by something going on in her friend's life (Hayleigh).
Yes, Blank space is Travis’s favorite song😂 even now when he has songs about him in her discography he still says this is his favorite song😂 1989 & reputation are his favorite eras.
There’s a very intense sense when you’re in that crowd that it is our job to be as good to Taylor as we know she’s about to be to us, and to be good to each other because “mama” would be disappointed otherwise. 😅 That’s the energy: we all WANT HER TO FEEL GOOD TOO. So we go where she takes us. We call-and-respond. It’s like her discography is scripture and the concert is congregation. Blasphemous but it’s the feeling when you go. You want to know the rituals, the lyrics, you want to be in the family. It’s very… human.

it was filmed on three nights just cause they needed more angles and stuff. and yes, the transitions were cut, but the changes are still fairly short, usually she has only like 2-3 minutes to change
That cute clip where she showed us her “rocket slide” under the stage, she was so excited about it. Like a little kid playing with big toys. It did look fun! Definitely quicker to use that than to run. 😂
I suggest googling what each song is about at the very least before you watch. Each song has a meaning and a story and it will help you appreciate her songwriting and what Swifties love about Taylor the most. Eg. My Tears ricochet is about the guy who had been her friend who sold her first 5 albums without her permission hence ‘my stolen lullabies’.
Six albums, Scott Borchetta didn't need her permission, he owned them per his contract with her, when she signed with Big Machine. When she asked to buy them he said no, but offered her that for every new album she did, she would get one old one back, which would have tied her to him for a very long time. She knew he was going to sell, just not to who. Scott sold Big Machine, which included her work, and of course that was the apple Scooter Braun wanted.
The best part was you teasing your wife for not knowing where her phone was!! Every husband probably can relate lol!! I tell my husband it’s because our clothes don’t have pockets and if they do they are not big enough for our phones!! Please feel our pain :) I’ve finally started to just put my phone under my bra strap on my shoulder, I don’t care if it looks crazy :)
There’s a track under the stage with a bench or bed on it which she lays on and it takes her to the other end of the stage. She did a behind the scenes video about it. Pretty cool!
Y’all be chatting when she was monologuing about folklore. 🤣🤣 it’s a pandemic album made mostly of made up stories, but not really cardigan, Betty, and August are telling the same story from 3 different perspectives
Listening to ya'll talk about who The 1 (the first song in Folklore) was about is how I feel now realizing how long she'd had secret feelings for Matty! I find myself second guessing some songs. Also the wife is 100% right. When she started in Paris she had all new outfits for the 1989 era and they're mix and match. The night Travis was there she wore chiefs colors for it. Also it is a golf club, they're using them to hit the guy's fancy car on the screen on the side of the platform, like Taylor did in the video.
I think a few of the “fictional” songs were likely, at the very least, inspired by Matty. I’ve also seen people that believe “Tolerate It” was inspired by Joe.
Happy Father’s Day 🎉
Appreciate you! ♥️
No it doesn't take 10 minutes. It's usually only 1-3 minutes. And the next era starts and she comes in.
Yeah it’s longer than the movie but there’s a tension build that makes it worth it lol, everybody looking around like awwwwww yyyyeah.

I will get this added to the list! Thanks for the suggestion ✊🏾

The way you agree, “She’s one of US.” ❤

??? Am I missing something? The Eras Tour Film was done way before that.

I love when you are talking to your wife - she has the nicest voice 😊Love from Australia ❤
"my ass would ride off the stage" that was my first thought when i saw the bikes LMAO
Y'all are wild! 😂

I don't think so anymore LOL
Sure… fictional. She’s still pushing that but the same thoughts that were roiling around in her head are being sang about in TTPD
Marjorie is real, too

Come on guys ! the radio !!! are you driving the cars? You’re definitely listening to many Taylor songs 😅😂
Also what if wife listened to album his reaction was like 💀💀 you listened the album?
Please, please, please do more videos with your wife. Your little conversations are endearing, such a charming couple.
Thank you!
She wrote this album during the pandemic, She was with Joe Alwyn.

You def heard of Style somewhere coz that song is huge
Betty the boy, cardigan her, and august the affair…the 3 vie points of the love triangle. They all run together.
I was at the show and her changing between Eras was a couple minutes max. It was very fast
To MrsAB: love Bridgerton! Taylor has some songs on there - you know when they play the classical version of a pop song.
Whenever a new season is released, she rewatches the previous seasons before watching the new one 😅
it was filmed on three nights just cause they needed more angles and stuff. and yes, the transitions were cut, but the changes are still fairly short, usually she has only like 2-3 minutes to change
When she dives under stage.....there is a moving motorized cart that she lays on that takes her quickly to change again.
That cute clip where she showed us her “rocket slide” under the stage, she was so excited about it. Like a little kid playing with big toys. It did look fun! Definitely quicker to use that than to run. 😂

OMG about the pockets yes! Can barely get half my fingers in a pocket and that's if they even have pockets.
😅

(Pretty sure that's from Rep tour, but it probably works like that in the Eras' tour as well)
Friends w Benefits is one of my all time faves … nice John f$&cking Mayer reference
1989 single are huge, she did a re-record recently. So it was really hard to avoid the songs even if you are not a fan haha
Betty is from her eighth album folklore
Golden Girls will always have the ability to make me laugh so hard I almost pee a little lol.
She made folklore and evermore in 2020 theyre sister albums folklore is her 8th album and evermore came a few months later.
She f’ed it up. Taylor Lautner
She isn’t swimming…it’s the video stage making it appear that she is.
the time between every era is different, its mostly 1-2 mins though
Y’all be chatting when she was monologuing about folklore. 🤣🤣 it’s a pandemic album made mostly of made up stories, but not really cardigan, Betty, and August are telling the same story from 3 different perspectives
she actually has to be really fast and out in about a minute
I bet your wife’s bridgerton reactions would be fire.
OH, I'm sure!!
Do you have a P.O. Box so we can send you some bracelets?

Is part 2 taken down?
Yes, for copyright, but it's back in dispute
Part 4 plssss
Illicit Affairs is definitely about Matty thinking back now LOL oh Lord
