Got one of these today.. excellent lawn mower very light to move about and for a small engine it out does my 160cc 4stroke Briggs n Stratton on performance, fuel consumption, and ease of starting it. It's also much quieter couldn't recommend it more to those looking for a budget friendly Alternative to the mainstream brands
First bought this Machine i Loved it. Such a healthy mower and cuts soo well. After about 5 uses i had nothing but trouble with it and couldn't return it because id had it for a few months. Good Luck everyone!
Hi Jake, thanks for your feedback what issues did you have with this mower? Did you reach out to Hyundai directly, as I am sure they would be able to help.
Thanks for this informative review, received mine this morning. Didn't receive the oil but I guess New Zealand doesn't supply it in the package. Realy happy with it so far. Just need the rain to stop! Can't wait to try it out!
I have a clone of this lawn mower. The engine oil capacity in my mower was 400 ml. The engine is quiet and easy to start. I have never added fuel stabiliser. My mower is 5 years old and still going strong. Bit rusty due to the metal construction of the deck. It has nice six step single lever height adjustment.
@@EasyLawnMowing It’s fantastic and the video is also really easy to use starts first time and light weight if I was looking for a negative it would be that the booklet that came with it didn’t show how to do certain things so had to look at the video but overall 10 out of 10. The round whole clip where the pull handle rests the booklet showed it a different way of been fixed as though it’s a general booklet not for this particular one
Hi Mark. Many thanks for the review video. Great help. Can I ask do the handles fold down for easy storage and if so does the "Pigtail gadget" get in the way of the folding procedure?. Thank you
Hi Nicola, thanks for your comment. The handles only fold at the mid point and not where they join the deck. The handles can be folded with the pigtail attached, but will need to be undone slightly so that the recoil cord can be removed. Thanks Mark

Bought one of these recently and had no luck starting it. When you said you pressed the red button a few times before starting, how many are we talking? Not sure if I have overdone it now
Hi Chris, I pressed the red button around 3-4 times, if it is brand new you may need a few more times to prime. Also make sure you tilt the mower back or have it on a higher setting when starting. Let me know how you get on.
I am interested in buying this lawn mower but have quite a steep lawn. I understand that some petrol mowers only work well on level ground. Will this mower cope with a sloping lawn?
Thanks for your message. For steep lawns I would recommend a self propelled petrol mower. I have recently just done a review on a similar mower in terms of size but it is self propelled. It is the Mountfield SP41 and there is a link below to the review and video - easylawnmowing.co.uk/mountfield-sp41-review/ Hope this helps. Mark
Hi. I gave this one to my neighbour and he is still very happy with it. It is still going strong. He has a flat lawn around 250 metres square and is ideal for him. Thanks.
Hi John I use the Briggs & Stratton Fuel Fit Additive/Stabiliser. 992381 available from Amazon. This has always been reliable for me and works well. Thanks Mark
Quick message to anybody thinking of buying this lawnmower or any lawnmower where the handles screw to the body in this manner the two grub screws that hold the handles to the mower work loose all the time and all you end up doing is re fixing the bloody handles to the lawnmower, every 10 minutes Terrible design this is not the only lawnmower to do it. There are quite a few to have the same stupid design. The rest was excellent still got it works perfect just a handles fitting to the body is a problem

@@CryptoBates Is this correct, he ran it without oil in it?

Glad the video was helpful, enjoy your new mower. As usual it hasn't stopped raining in the UK either, hopefully the sun will come out soon.

Wonderful review. Thanks!

do they do larger models with a polypropylene deck. I have a Honda which has been excellent but the deck has rusted?
Hi Andy, no unfortunately Hyundai don't do a petrol mower with a poly deck, you would need to look at one of their cordless battery models.
we have say half tennis court lawn which petrol mower do u recomend

How much fuel additive used pls and which one is best. Tyvm
How easy is it to change the cutting blade
It is very simple to change the cutting blade, basic DIY tools and skills needed.
No need it's knackered before the blades worn out
Hi, was hoping to see it idling, which you didnt show, does it idle at all. TA from New Zealand
No there is no idle with this mower, it is a single speed and once the OPC is released the engine will stop.

Hmm, did you flip it over with the engine oil filled? not really sure that is a proper way doing it 😅
Thanks for your comment, it was so long ago, however I am sure I tipped it over before oil and fuel were in.... LOL
Just had mine it starts for a few minutes pope's and just stops
Hi Neil. Trying giving Hyundai power tools a call and log the issue with them. Please let us know if they help you get this Issue resolved. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing, I have not experienced the grub screws becoming loose on my particular model.
Would this be easily handled by a woman
Yes, I don't see why not. The mower weighs around 22kg and is NOT self-propelled. Thanks Mark
