Perfect analysis! As an artist I am understanding this aspect more and more. There is no point in having a vast technical repertoire if it is not at the service of your authentic expression. We live in a time where, unfortunately, quantities are worth more than qualities. Often, in this anxious and frantic search to impress the audience, we lose the depth that lives in simplicity. What will really remain, when we are no longer here, will be your signature, the essence must govern the forms. Gratitude!
Just because you dance with conviction doesn’t make it good. There’s a difference between hitting the beats and musicality. Rubix is unorthodox but he seems too comfortable relying on creating big crowd favouring moments, needs to showcase more control within smaller moments, enjoy groove, play with different textures.
And gets off beat, big moves don't mean nothing if you are dancing without connect your moves, and thats fine Rubix are following his own concepts and getting to the max, but this have a price sometimes.
Beat killing is much more impressive than musicality, it requires more creative spontaneous thought which allows him to better express the music in visual format. Musicality in my opinion is much more simple since it’s based on is rhythm, and we all know that anyone with rhythm can have musicality even in to its simplest form, but I do agree with you when you say that Rubix needs to focus on his connections, I do agree with this heavy because sometimes rubix is too passionate to a point where he can be All over the place and it seems like he is trying to kill a certain aspect of the beat when he does this. I do believe that if rubix focuses on the small details like doyah or Larry, it would make his arsenal even stronger, bro is very dominant too which is a great mindset to have.
This battle I was to hype ha ha I see your points metal appreciate that, my dance is still grow just as I do eventually shibuya style will be complete 😈
As a word of advice (because you seem to need it) before you pretend to be someone else. You should maybe check any previous comments you may have left. 😉 Also, maybe just maybe don't impersonate accounts with thousands of subs - as It exposes you instantly. 💀
Sometimes a boxer can win a round simply by throwing punches. Doesn't have to land any punches, just have to look more active. They didn't appreciate Gucchons stops, isolations, tempo changes, and his overall approach.
Rubix and Soraki definitely have high difficulty in terms of movement but the actual skill aspect in terms of technicality and expanding as well as sitting in pockets was lacking like rubix was doing a tut I guess but there were no combinations no dynamics with the tut like there wasn’t much expansion I often times feel like the movement quality from these 2 is lacking as well it’s so loud and fast paced but it’s not giving much substance it kinda just feels like it passed through the bowels in 10 minutes like it wasn’t hard to digest at all just dogshit
I loved Joel B! iam not good at this, but he definetely got points for things i could see haha yaya "and this is why you dont judge" buuuut he looked sooo smooth and had so much movement that fit the music imo (means "seeable for me", iam not good enough to see the same with Gucchon I guess)!
I feel like I get what metal is saying. Where it's like, when you try to fill your round with as much movement as possible you tend to get lost in what you are trying to convey until you accent a particular sound, yet everything before that moment was incoherent. When your dance doesn't connect to the music and you are purely going for wow factor its easy for people new to the space to be impressed, but for the more seasoned individuals they can mostly see through all that and say "Ok? But did you really say anything?". The best connection I can make is like answering a short response question on a test. You can write 6-7 sentences in your response, but if only your last sentence answers the question did you really say anything?
@@tijean8315 he mentioned how dancers are just moving now n days . And have a few special moves they do . The whole time like Larry did compared to Laurent battles where he uses them but doesn’t spam them . Watch the whole video . N watch all of his videos too . He makes that statement multiple times that I piggy backed off of
Went dumb would be Le K's first round against Laurent that he should have won but I did appreciate what Laurent gave the rest of the tournament. Imo most people that had good rounds lost, not sure what judges were on this year Actually scratch that, I know exactly what they were on. Names.
@@Bignasir21 he still didn't mention none of the twins..the video has nothing to do with them and no he won't "just do laurent battles" like please let other dancers shine, everything isn't always about les twins
Damn lol. Fucked up on the rubix vs soraki part of the video but don't let that distract you from the like goal. 250 PALACE !!!!
Took some time but we reached it !

No Longer Juste Debout It’s Robbery Debout Because Gucchon Didn’t Lose That Battle Bruhh
Gucchon got robbed.
Gucchon for sure 100% man
Yea Laurent went dumb this year n it wasn’t even his best year . But he just so mature with his dance . Gotta just do Laurent battles

hey, DOC
I think RUBIX won this one
how so? there were so many flaws in his dance
@@tijean8315 both he and Soraki lost that battle, there was no winner in my book.
Disliked, begging for youtube likes is cringe
