The amplitude and technical aspect is unmatched. The FISE tour has blading and Asian X Games still.
I had SUCH a crush on her, I was at the X-Games in 1998 just walking along and saw her in some camo pants (so was I actually, hers were green mine were white) sitting on the back of a half pipe. I waved at her and caught a picture of her just in time to get her waving back, crazy to think that was 23 years ago! Hope they've treated you well ( :
Fab was a beast even on the street courses, crushed it all round. Aggressive skating needs to make a return. I miss it dearly and even though I am old now still have a pair that I use occasionally.
So much fun to see her progression each year!! She´s awesome !
Had her pictures from Sports Illustrated for kids in my binder for school she was my hero at 10 yrs old! I dreamed about aggressive inline skating but never could afford the skates :( took up skateboarding as a teen as the board was way cheaper but still wanna aggressive skate all these years later!
Aggressive Inline Skating would be a reason for me to watch x-games
I would love to see rollerblading back and on TV. I still have my blades and I often swap between them and skateboarding.

Looking back on those times. Fabiola was on another level. Very consistent and stylish. Still has to be the blading queen!
FABIOLA DA SILVA! You go girl. Greatest ever. Also, remember Arlo Eisenberg named by People Magazine as top-50 to watch in 2000? Blading imo is the truest gravity discipline. ITS THE PUREST FORM of physical expression.
The sport got to a point in its progression, that its just so dangerous to show the greatest the sport has to offer. If skaters fall a lot during a timed run - its not as T.V. ready - It can be though. Best trick formats and especially THESE DAYS - really the last decade - skaters have become so good that falls are rare. WATCH THE FISE TOUR. The best rollerbladers in the world are so good at parks MEANT for BMX. Imagine what the world will see when they refine the parks just a little bit to show ALL BLADING HAS TO OFFER.
IMYTA STYLE. Shut an URBAN LOCATION down like in the days and skate street spots?
Bring blading back X Games. It is time -the sport has money flowing in.

She's probably too old to compete at that level now days. I'm in my 30s but I used to watch her when I was a kid. She's got to be in her late 30s or early 40s now.

I miss that time I stopped with the inline because I started on skateboarding and the equipment in Brazil was a fortune but I keep great memories.

The world after covid needs the freedom that inline skating brings, do it or someone else will beat you to it. The culture and world society has changed, the feuds that made you discontinue the sport are over. Bring it back.

Those were the good ol days. I miss inline aggressive. It was a big part of my childhood. Kept me strong and healthy. So much fun being outside skating. The speed and little bit of danger,. exhilarating. Life before the internet, it was just better. We actually lived back then, not stuck to the screen.

I’m just really sure that these roller blade discipline need some sort of comeback to those extreme events of that category specially the performances of many of the athletes such as the great Faviola da Silva from Brazil who he is the most unrivaled female skater of all times when it comes to numbers in vertical ramp and street modalities she was just a priestess of the sport

It's cool that she did some grinds instead of just the high flying crowd pleaser manuevers.
I think they should bring back rock climbing. it was exciting all sorts of cultures of fast climbers wearing du rags and whatev and it didn't matter. they were fast at climbing and the walls were freakin high. climbers were fast. and as soon as they reached the top they would kick off and have full trust in their let down. it was exciting nto watch too. even moreso than skydiving however not as exciting as bmx vert moto x and all that stuff.

At 2:09 the 180 fish brain was amazing and polished . I don’t know if anyone can appreciate how difficult that one was but it was the best trick in this run in my humble opinion
Now that, it's not the 90's and we've all learned to stop judging (hopefully including the skateboard community), you should bring blading back. Dudes like Aaron Feinberg, Brian Shima, the Yasutoko brother...mad fun to watch. Would be awesome to see bladers doing big air and halfpipe on tv.
