  • In this tutorial I’ll be demonstrating how you can add a drip effect to any of your vector designs using Adobe Illustrator. This is something that can be applied to text, individual letters, logos, icons, or any other vector object.

    how could I inverse this so that the drip is on the inside of the text?
    Edit: I have an idea that might work.. I could apply this tutorial to a text, and then make a normal text layer duplicate behind it, and change the drip layer to what color I want

    Does this work the same for objects like squares?

      @gregbaldeano5350 3 года назад +2

      I was wondering the same thing. I've been trying for the past 30 mins and no luck. I think to work around it you have to create a few more points so make the triangular shape you pull out look curved.

    • @LaurenLaMelle
      @LaurenLaMelle 3 года назад +2

      @@gregbaldeano5350 So I've been working on it and you have to keep adding points and pull them down into the triangular points and then add the curves. It's taking a long time to go in and add all the path points and curve the shape.

      @@LaurenLaMelle Thanks for the reply, I've been trying to research more efficient ways but I'm struggling. I also followed a similar method to you although considering how time consuming it is I'm not sure it's worth it for an over used concept! If you find any other options let me know!

      @@LaurenLaMelle what about ellipse objects for example a circle. I’m trying to create an outline for it but it won’t work?
