Sir I think 1 main reason the Almera is not selling well is a vehicle that can be found inside Nissan dealerships: customers will just add a little more and they will already have a base model AT Navara.
I agree. Although this almera is a great car in general. The navara is just a staple at this point in our country. Especially the VE variant which is quite close in terms of price with this almera. Even I am not sure which to get. I love the driving feel and comfort of a sedan but with our country's bad road quality, a pick up might seem more practical.

Nagamit ko din almera ng ilang beses. Maganda performance nia at malakas talaga torque nia. Para sa akin Mas comfort sia honda city. Ang ayoko lang sa almera parang mababa ang ceiling nia na minsan pag ginamit mo yung sa shade nia Kailangan mo pa iwas ulo mo heheheh. Isa pa yung 360 camera nia low quality. Sana nabago na yan sa bagong labas. Sa fuel consumption nia matipid almera. Next sana mazda 2 hehehe. Sia ngyn pinaka mahal sa kanila
Levi i think the reason sir, is the mentality of filipino buyers na kapag nissan sedan mahal ang piyesa at mas magastos magmaintain in the future. alam naman natin na karamihan sa atin pagbumili ng kotse pangmatagalan.
A stressed inline 3 turbo car maybe a factor as to why it does not sell well, especially to people who are looking to buy and use a car for a long time. Also I've heard about nissan's reputation on their cvts - maybe people don't want to take that risk and rather prefer the City and Vios.
Mas madami po bumibili ng Honda City due to the bigger engine, bigger legroom, better interior & exterior design, more aftermarket parts tsaka higher resale value. Kung Nissan Intelligent Mobility lang naman, meron na din naman Honda Sensing. As with regards to the Vios, pang taxi, grab & company car kasi kaya patok talaga sa masa.
maybe dahil pa rin sa stigma ng sentra na box type parang di maganda ang built at sa parts na mahal daw. nagka roon ako ng sentra series 3 solid sya at matulin better than the corolla big body at never ako nagka problem sa parts. pinoy kasi lagi toyota pero sakin better ang honda at nissan. eto ngang 2001 civic ko better than my 2015 altis in terms of performance and built quality
Because Filipinos like the status symbol if owning a Monterro, Fortuner & Mazda. they dont about it about the practicality of a simple vehicle like Nissan
isa sa mga rason bakit hindi mabinta? sabi ng karamihan alam nyo naman mga pinoy kasi daw mahal pyesa tama po sila mahal pyesa ng nissan ksi genuine parts ang mga pyesa nila walang mga after market na replacements kya mahal,,pru matibay
nakakaapekto ung buying decision ng mga tao pgka ngtatanong sa mga kakilala or mekaniko... they all have one answer... VIOS kasi pyesa, blah blah blah.

Weakest cvt ang nissan, tpos 3cylinder nga. With turbo nman.
Nothing beats reliability 4cylinder naturally aspirated.
