Israel has assumed complete control of Gaza's land border. The Israeli military stated that it has taken charge of a crucial corridor along Gaza's border with Egypt to prevent Hamas from smuggling weapons through it. This comes after Israel reportedly launched around 50 airstrikes on Gaza yesterday (May 29, 2024). This has triggered international outrage and widespread condemnation of Israel. Hundreds of students are demonstrating against Israel's military operations in Gaza. Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei encouraged these student protesters and said that "you are on the right side of history", advising them to become familiar with Quran. Meanwhile, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu a "blood-sucking vampire." Palki Sharma tells you more.
