I am wondering with the 'new age' of discord if there is some form of runescape server that has pings and such for things like Roar of Osseous, or Pylon being 100%. I know there are some FC's that still exist but a lot of them are kind of dead nowadays. Having a ping option for events similar to those would be huge.

As a returning player, I have watched many of these guides. Some of them being 4+ years old leave me wondering if there’s newer and better versions. So I REALLY appreciate any updated 1-99 guides you think are worth doing again!

@@reaudimills7947 Get a necklace of alteration (the moonstone one) and make sure to have the tome of um 2. Spread attraction glyphs (your highest one and boost with an overload or extreme necro) throughout the ritual. This will make ritual disturbances super common and give you pretty insane xp.

I actually started an iron about 3 months ago after getting a little bored on my main. I found this video extrememly helpful as with my main all i did was get what i needed to out of archeology and nothing more. Great video!
It's one of runescape's best skills sure. It has more content and variance than any other skill in the game. Sure it's the same old dig and restore, but there's a lot of stuff to explore :)
Worth noting that you'll outlevel the excavation sites if you go to the highest level area as soon as you can. You'll get more xp but you probably won't finish any actual collections. Ironman accounts don't have this problem because you'll be massively overlevelling the sites due to staying around for longer for materials
You can start grinding brush at lvl103 which is the first big archaeology pay off. Then afterward it is about cleaning logs(mysteries/collections/researches/relics) then focusing on my you want from either more xp, more tetras(which is xp and gp) and more chronote(only 20% more which is bod)
I know it's not exactly archeology training, but I'm surprised the Dagon Bye mystery wasn't mentioned when going to infernal source. That's probably the single most important mystery in all of archeology.
I should've mentioned it but yeah, not essential for leveling at all. Only if u want to make binding contracts for money / for your own pouches. Mainscape players can just buy them if they'd like

Is it normal for the EXP rates to be very low for this skill? Like I'm at the Everlight 51-56 section and it's become so slow, only 1.7k per artefact which take ages to get D: great guide though!
I'm not sure what your boosts are looking like but this is a SLOW Skill for sure! Try and AFK it as active training isn't as rewarding as it seems. Make sure you upgrade your mattock if you haven't!
My girl hit 120 the other day from digging up old shiz😢 i told her gz then kept going for defender... Didnt work, she had 99 atk.. gunna have to get my construction up now. Great vid! 10/10
Unlock the mysteries if u ever want to actually train the skill starting from the low level ones. Otherwise lamp to 96 and do the 96 spot i guess. I would not have lamped this skill tbh
This video does not apply to me in the slightest, as I am 200mil Archaeology. But I will watch it anyway because Protoxx content is good and always worth the watch.
The skill that made me quit the game to never return last year because of it being required for SO MUCH STUFF, not that the game had much to stay around for (or has).
@@ProtoxxGaming I just couldn’t handle it. I got to the zamorakian place and it was so repetitive and mind numbing and yet required to do the latest bosses - I stopped at that point and never came back.
Cool guide, however, you’re wrong. 1-5 tutorial 5-99 excavate at kharid et, the first excavation, destroy all the damaged artifacts you don’t need them, 99-120 ignore the skill completely, don’t level it, there’s no benefit, if you are past 99 arch just delete your account

Hey, do you have a guide on farming chronotes? I’m lvl 92 and would like to start farming the shop whilst I level up towards 99 arch.
I don't have a specific guide on this atm. I did easy low tier logs personally, but that was during release week

That's RNG. You could have gotten all the pages, besides the minimum requirement is the level shown in the video. That's why.

don;t listen to this outdated guide. The fastest xp is camping tetracompasses and wait for dxp. then do the tetras for artefacts and do those as well.
