Oh he does them occasionally it's how I found him last yr. I told him this old lady couldn't handle it because I'd watch these at night lol. He laughed and said he'd try not to scare me again. Now I watch during the day just in case lol. Instant friends since.
I’ve always been fascinated by Scotland and its history, ghosts and all. I work from home and I can’t think of anything better to listen to than ghost stories out of the country that interests me so much. Thank you for all the tremendous work that is put into every video.
I find myself, transfixed by every word, immersed in the story, almost as if a part of it! Bravo 👏 You have certainly found your calling as a Narrator extraordinaire. 😊💙💙 🏴
I investigated the paranormal world for 20 years... I took a 10 year break... Now ,I just started again thanks to show like Eerie Edinburgh and few others...You never stop thinking about what you love, who you love ..This channel is my top channel for ghosts and tails of Scotland. Thank you for all your hard work EE and steadfast dedications to history I'd watch all day if one could.. Thanks you Scotland
Chilling story well told. Between your description, an old map of Larkhall/Millheugh that I found online and an examination of Google maps, I think I was able to spot the general area of where Broomhill House stood. Fascinating! Thanks, Erie Edinburgh.
A sad tale beautifully told. My mother was born in Larkhall in 1927 and worked briefly as a maid in a local big house when she left school, I wonder now was it Broomhill .
@@bigbill74scots i think it may have been a pit villiage called something like Fearniegair, sorry about vaugeness but she wasn't very talkative about her childhood. You ever heard of somewhere like that ?
@jaytay8637 If it's Ferniegair, it could well have been Chatelherault lodge she means. It was the Duke of Hamiltons hunting lodge, now a tourist attraction. Google it, it's a very impressive building indeed.
I truly love this site and these videos ! The narrator has a calm but sober yet sensitive voice and dialect and pace , the history and descriptive narration including the background of these stories is just amazing ! I never tire of these videos ! They are the best ! Thank you Eerie Edinburgh ! From an American with deep deep Scot / Irish roots and connections !
Now you're just showing off 😉. You are such a gifted writer, I seriously can't find an adequate compliment for how good your stories are. So I'll just say Thank You, yet again for another brilliant video. Cheers E.E. 🎉
This was a very sad story. I felt sorry for Sita, and for the servants who had worked at Broomhill House. I enjoyed listening to your voice, sir, as you have a very lovely voice! Thank you for sharing this story! ~Janet in Canada
I so look forward to these beautiful historical spiritual stories. Thank you Mr Eerie, you have outdone yourself once again. Gives me goosebumps listening to your beautiful lilting tones, retelling these tales...❤
I have been researching and investigating ghosts, cryptids UFOS and the paranormal for over forty years. As you might imagine, I don't come across things I have never heard of very often anymore. This is one of those times. While I freely admit that I'm much more familiar with the States, I can say I'm better versed in European ghost stories and folklore than most Americans. I've never heard of this and I'm fascinated by this. I have a bucket list of paranormal spots that I want to investigate, and this is now on it. Thank you for that.
My pleasure. It's a relatively new story to me also. A friend on Twitter spoke to me about it and i was stunned i'd not heard of it. Same can be said for the Blacket Place story, now my favourite Edinburgh story but one i hadn't heard of until last year.
Again thank you for a belting intertwining of History and Folklore. The Lady of Larkhall speaks of Tragedy of a Lost Life, and Deep Sadness. What was the Story of the other 12 Ghosts witnessed alongside the Lady? Thank you once again.
So, i re-wrote parts of this sooo many times that i think i ended up missing a couple of important bits of info, like this. The grandmother who told Jennie to go back was a spey-wife. When she returned and saw Sita again she was pointing to a slope of land behind her, when Jennie turned to look, thats when she saw the 13 ghosts. Two of them were children. There's no explanation given, but i think the infrence is that they had all died there, or been killed there...
You are one of the best narrators on YT. Your voice and stayle of storytelling are compelling. I went to Edinburgh and found it extremely haunted and lots of people drunk around the Grass Market. That's not safe!
Hiya Eerie Edinburgh, I like your voice it fits all your vlogs superbly, I find it eerie that these ghost's still haunt where these houses once stood, even if they have been derelict for years, its quite baffling really, this is Paul (aka Choppy) in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England
I'm a new sub. You really have a nice and spooky voice for your story telling. The scenery was top notch. I am so glad I found you. I listen to a lot of spooky stories and I love it when I come across someone with a different approach. It makes it interesting. Thank you for your hard work.
Excellent storytelling, I love this channel - the folklore intermingled with history is wonderful.📚🏴Poor Sita, she must’ve been miserable. What a horrible selfish, thoughtless man McNeil Hamilton was to take her to an unwelcoming place. No wonder she haunted the place where she was murdered.🩶 Thank you and your friend who investigated her own history, finding more information on Sita.
So about 30 years ago I worked at Apple Bank inn 2-3 years never saw anything spooky but it had a kitchen size of a closet all chilled food was in room across bar hated been sent thereto get stuff really creepy the door to cellar was also from Broomhill house as well as the fireplace very beautiful I never saw anything but I remember 2 cooks were on a show about it they had saw ghosts there when I worked there I recognized them and she said the cellar was really haunted and that’s were she saw them it’s very old previous owner told me he believe the original cottage now bar was a gatehouse to BroomhillEstate silly me thought it was an orchard
Hello friend! Im sorry i missed this but i was busy cleaning out the attic and throwing stuff out. But im here now lol, great tellin as always. Good job. ❤
❤ Oh and I love seeing the fabulous scenery of Scotland! Beautiful! The geology of the isles is amazing! Some of the places I’ve seen of Scotland remain me of areas of Idaho where I was raised. Only Scotland is much greener! Thank you! ❤
Oooo that was crunchy good. Going to go see if someone's done an investigation there. It would be interesting to see what the place holds, building or no, the energies are still there.
You are great at the stories and legends of those who lived and died and the details of times past. It is most interesting as I am Scottish and my ancestors came from Scotland to America. Thanx for a great video before I retire for the night.❤😊
1/2 Scottish 1/2 Irish my grandmother would tell me stories when I was a kid, I loved it but I couldn't understand half the words, the brogue was hard to decipher. RIP Nanna 🙏 thank you for the stories from my ancestors homeland.
I’m new to your channel, and I’m hooked ! Your voice is perfect for narrating, and literally gives it the eerie vibe. I’ve never been to Scotland, my parents have , but I’ve yet to see it. My grandmother ( my father’s mother ) was Scots Irish and Scottish. So I’ve got this thing that makes me want more of this kind of stuff.
19:30 forgive my slight stupidity for saying but didn’t an earlier tale mention there was over 20 ghosts? Maybe the lady isn’t the ghost guilty of such actions? Perhaps there’s a story we simply don’t know or maybe it’s like that castle ghost of wales story where there’s two ghosts one trying to get the truth out and the other do everything in their power to ensure the truth is never uncovered….just saying.
I wonder if the Hamilton family are the same people with an estate somewhere around Renfrewshire. My dad used to tell me tales of his father poaching on the "Duke of Hamilton's estate" and from my research my grandfather was born in or around Lochwinnoch area. 🤔 Love the videos by the way, you have just the right mix of darkness and drama in your narration to make these unmissable. 👏👍😍
Im so excited to find this channel. Im an American who loves the UK ghost stories true crime and a Scottish brogue. Sexy accent.😉 You have a new follower.
It’s too bad no one dug up the ground in the cellar. They very well might have found evidence of what happened to the lady. She was obviously murdered and if there were other ghost… perhaps she wasn’t the only one that died by foul play!
You outdone yersel, wi that one, mate. Bravo! I love to hear about the old elite families, of Scotland. You should branch out, to Scotland. LIke your images and artworks, too. Likely AI made, but tastefully done.

Sunday afternoon here in the States, but I concur!

I want to see what the narrator looks like
the clydesdale horse breed was originally developed at Merriton farm ,larkhall which was part of the Duke of Hamilton's estate
Horses were smaller back then weren't they???
The Clydesdale has always had a place in my heart, they are magnificent gentle souls.
Nope
