You always know a truly great actor when they can tell a simple story so well that you feel like you're there. The way she told that story about the wardrobe malfunction outside the show building was pure perfection.
I don't know where the narrative started that "she's unlikable" , but it couldn't be farther from the truth
Its because many people believe she's to good to be true. And that she's faking being this person, or calling herself a nerd.

Abdo Esper: Couldn't agree more with you about her being so versatile. She is an extremely talented actress and an excellent singer. I don't think she ever stopped working, as you said sort of coming back. She had many projects out of mainstream Hollywood. She is still among the top paid actresses as she grossed over a few billion dollars in all movies she played in so far. She has an impressive portfolio as an activist, ambassador of the screen for many years now. I can't think of many other young actresses even close to that. She is not creating scandals trying to be "different & original" by being a silicon doll allowing men to drool over her photos. I highly respect her for everything she is doing (and any other female who respect themselves first of all!).

Amazing interview! Anne Hathaway never ceases to amuse me but my favorite interview is and always will be the uncontrollable laughter interview with Jon Stewart.

The "that was unexpected" bit really made me laugh when I first saw the trailer.
I love that Anne Hathaway doesn't take herself so seriously. Three times this interview she made fun of herself, by talking about her wardrobe malfunctions - one had even occurred as she was coming into the studio - and where other stars would've overreacted she just laughs it off. I'm sure she was embarrassed at the time, but I like that she was able to laugh it off and just accept it as another example of Murphy's Law.
She's such a great actress! It's a pleasure to watch her reenact any situation.

And apparently it's ridiculously hard to successfully argue a rating down like that, I think they said that there's one other film that has done it (idk if that's just recently, or ever) so it's clearly a rare thing.
It's definitely worth watching them talk about it on Graham Norton.
