Hi! I have a 100% polyester polo shirt that I will be embroidering a left chest logo. The fabric is pretty thin. Have you ever had to use two sheets of prostitch stabilizer on thin fabrics?
I bought tender touch and followed the instructions to a „T“ . Used my heat press…. On my hubby‘s Piqué cotton Poloshirt, it keeps coming loose after washing. On a Baby t shirt, it was so hard and scratchy..just horrible. I had to remove it. I pre pressed with silicone sheet as to not damage the stitches, pressed with a silicone sheet , let it cool before moving it too much, and still no luck. Obviously I am doing something wrong???!
A couple things you can check is, make sure your applying the correct side of the tender touch, I have better results using an iron, and maybe use a heat press pillow underneath. There has to be something thats’s missing in your application. Keep trying on a practice fabric and Im sure you’ll get it. There are other brands from AllStitch and Gunold, maybe try another brand also.
@@RomeroThreads thanks.. I got a roll of Allstitch from Gunold as well. I also do embroidery and HTV professionally, but have been a bit hesitant to use it. I will try the iron application without steam like you did. Thanks a lot 👍
Thank you for sharing your expertise. May i know what brand of embroidery machine are you using? And schedule for digitizing?
