I'm aiming to become a good frontend developer as a fresher. I have knowledge of databases and Node.js/Express, but not as deep as my knowledge of frontend. I'm in my final year now.
Do you think it's better to be a generalist or a specialist in 2024? For example, someone who says they know frontend, backend, DevOps, blockchain, and cloud as a fresher, which means they have some knowledge of these areas but not in-depth.
Would you prefer to hire a specialist frontend developer or a generalist with some frontend knowledge? Everyone writing on their profile that they are full-stack developers just because they know the MERN, ig full-stack is lot more than MERN.
good question! I always suggest to start with full stack. Why?
Once you start with full stack you will get to know about both of the domains. Kuch time baad you will realize kisme tumhe interest hai then you can start doing what you love the most
