I agree - this model has some ✨ magic withing... I have one made in 2010, sounds magically... Not sure about the other Corts, but this one is something! Thank you for wonderful review and music!
Hello! Great review! As a big Cort fan and owner, I would like you to enlighten me about the Earth-Grand: is it a better guitar than the Earth60? I cannot find direct information about the two models... Thank you in advance!
I like the sparkly trebles this guitar produces. But really, I think the great sounds has more to do with your playing rather than the guitar itself haha
Well, I would never believe Cort is so good, but about a month ago I tried this model made in 2010, one of my students had it. And I was truly shocked of the sound of that guitar. One can't believe how great it sounds, like a few thousand dollars super brand! You just can't get satisfied from playing it, just can't stop, no joking... And fortunately it was way too big for my student and she kindly offered to exchange it to some smaller one. So now I'm a happy owner of this beauty... Really, can't stop playing and enjoying it...
@@sjenya75 awesome! I also like the bridge design because even if you lower the saddle, it won't lose the tone because the bridge is designed in such a way
Good tone from this guitar. I did own a Cort Earth acoustic guitar years ago, it was OM size, and had a Tree of Life MOP design on the fretboard. Most of all, it also had good tone. Unfortunately, I had to sell it. BTW, the poor optic quality of the camera (phone?) you used for this video causes the guitar neck to appear badly bowed, which might cause some viewers to stay away from Corts. I am a camera buff, and I would state that very, very few camera phones have good lenses. Most have optic aberrations, especially on the outer perimeters of the captured image.
I have a 3/4 size cort. I'm not a fan of it. They cut the saddle WAY too short. They put 3 plastic shims under the saddle. When I went to change the strings for the first time they all fell out. The guitar is all sorts of messed up now. I probably won't own another cort guitar.
Did you try to adjust the relief of the neck with the Allen rench in case you have a buzzing string or so? The shims are there to help you to lower the saddle if needed without having to sand it down. If you don't want this, just leave them in there or get another saddle. Usually people like to lower the saddle for a better playability. My experience with Cort Guitars is very good so far. They are amazing quality for the price. I compared them with Taylors, Faith, Ibanez, Yamaha, Walden... They may need a bit of setup to accommodate each ones needs but the building quality and materials used are top-notch for this price.
@@77guitarts22 I think I just ended up with a guitar that had quality control issues. Not every guitar that leaves the cort factory is going to be fantastic. I ended up donating it to a k-5 teacher showing their students different instruments.

It’s both a good guitar and also playing ... plus a great setup using #TheJarvisMethod

Hey there, would you recommend this guitar to a beginner and has fairly small hands?

Sorry to hear about your plight
It is what it is, I think I might install a new saddle and see if that helps.
Thanks for the great videos as always and Happy holidays.
