When my dalit friend got posted in a upper cast village, no one rent him a room and finally he had to shift in nearby town and now he have to travel 45 km daily just to reach the village.
That's terrible. Hope he's got his own vehicle.

Ik a girl, her father owned a huge shop and they had a bangalow, she got a rank of 10k and got admission in top 3 uni cause of her caste being ST, while I barely got a uni even with a rank under 2k.
I'm not richer than her, but she still got a better college.

I got two worst experiences of my life which were insane
1. When I was 10th grader my Cs teacher said in front of whole class of 64 students "you're enjoying kota rights" and I was like no mam I gave entrance exam for this school😬...(bcuz this school was one of best in our city)...but I felt so humiliated bcuzzz I haven't made any sin...all she said was so out of context
2. Bcuz I belong to a family of teachers (majority) so I used to think casteism must be vanished till this date...who can have low mentality at this age
It was my very first day of college and there is a senior citizen in my colony (it was our new place) who belongs to gen category... I greeted him NAMASTE while touching his feet and he took a step back...like why??? I wasn't dirty or anything...I took a shower early morning and prayed to god so why?? I don't understand why he took a step back and didn't let me touch his feet...I wasn't expecting this from a senior citizen...
*people of my colony have so backward mentality that majority of them used to ignore my greetings after knowing my caste
(so I greet to only pple who dont ignore)...
See you just keep distance from such people. May be you do same to them. But these things doesn't justify reservation.

I belong to SC caste from Maharashtra. my grandfather was very poor and could not even afford to provide normal food and clothes to my father. we had no land or asset as such. Because of poor living standards and zero financial support my father could not pursue higher education and thus failed 12th std. he started doing labor work on daily wages for around 30rs daily. as my grandfather was ill and retired all the responsibilities had to be fulfilled by my father. with just 30rs of daily wage he somehow managed himself to get married and as well as marry off his 3 sisters. when he used to get done from work while coming back his financially stable lower middle caste and few upper caste friends use to spend money on alcohol and dance bar. but he saved every penny he could and later on became a civil contractor. since then he started earning well and started investing in lands and real estate. now he owns 3 lands and one flat all on his own. he put me and my 2 brothers into good schools and did not use the benefit of reservation as we were financially good. he always said we are not taking reservation just so the one who really needs it can take the benefit of it. Also, i forgot to mention during his childhood he had to beg to get food for his family and faced a lot of discrimination from upper caste people.
Almost same story I also live in Maharashtra and I am Buddhist (SC) my grandfather also had nothing to give my father after him but one man he is also Buddhist from city helped my father to complete his Bcom and And to made him to give mpsc exam my father topped in the whole village now he is Class 2 officer in pune
Only SC that to only Buddhist people help Buddhist people other hindu SC category people also don’t help other SC people
They just want All RESERVATION BUT NONE OF THEM TRULY thanks Babasaheb just because he converted to Buddhism

Look at % untouchability in Maharashtra. This was possible because of great Maharashtrian leaders like Ambedkar, Jyotiba Phule, Savitribai Phule, Shahu Maharaj, Annabhau Sathe, Ahilyabai Holkar and many more......
My family today accepts intercaste marriages open mindedly and this change has taken place due to these great leaders Maharashtra has given...

Mistakes in this video -
i) Caste System is not hereditary. No Hindu text mentions that. The Bhagavad Geeta (holiest book of Hinduism) mentions that caste is based on work and NOT hereditary.
ii) Dalits were originally Shudras. They were not 'excluded' from the caste system.
This video provides good information about Babasaheb Ambedkar and reality of caste discrimination and reservation.
I am not a casteist Or what not you might say me, but these things I've said are FACTS.

And that of 'untouchability', quote me a single hindu text which suggest that.
The Bhagavad Geeta Chapter 4 Verse 13 suggest this:
चातुर्वर्ण्यं मया सृष्टं गुणकर्मविभागश: |
तस्य कर्तारमपि मां विद्ध्यकर्तारमव्ययम् || 13||
Translation: The four categories of occupations were created by Me according to people’s qualities and activities. Although I am the Creator of this system, know Me to be the Non-doer and Eternal.
Hence caste was never hereditary.
Let me tell you the history of today's caste system.
In 1758, British colonizer Samuel F. Johnson ordered few opportunist Brahmins to group the castes. (Because in India, there were numerous castes like cobbler, painter, professor, priests, etc).
It was those greedy Brahmins who placed themselves on top and formed the hereditary caste system.
But today,
It's a politics of divide and rule.
A new word 'Dalit' has been coined which was NEVER EVER EVER HAS BEEN A PART OF OUR MYTHOLOGY.
Prove me wrong ❌
The word Dalit is not even mentioned in any of those books.

Actually caste system is revenge of Brahmans against buddhism..let me explain after ashoka buddhism grouped in two category one mahayan and another hinyan. There were virulent oral battle bw hin and maha. later some yahudi become priest of mahayan [so not all brahmans are foreigners some are indian who are poor today] and started calling hin lower caste and with the help of foreigners ruler .as there is already conflict bw maha and hin it turned as aag me ghee .. that's why todays Hinduism and mahayan budhism is 90% similar in terms of culture and deities etc.but people are blindly fighting to each other without knowing the truth.
@@_KSHTRIYA But as far as I know Hinduism is oldest religion and that is caste system backed by proofs from Archeologists and ASI. And caste system was not birth based. How can 'Brahminism' be a revenge to Buddhism? And Budhha was himself born in a Khatri family.

SC OBC ST are enjoying reservation of at least 50% in every aspect (in promotion also) for almost 76 years of Independence. Those who are privileged also, they also take reservation, & the poor SC STs donot get that much benifit. The constitution of India has already banned caste based discrimination and declared it as crime in 1950. Only caste based reservation system is keeping caste system alive. SC, ST & OBCs have more legal rights than the unreserved people. I advise SC OBC ST people to not have Inferiority complex in their minds. If any discrimination happens, file FIR against them. During the period of independence, it was the need of the hour but many things changed these days. Reservation is only destroying meritorious people nowadays. Judicial or Legislative review of Caste based reservation is the need of the hour. In the present day scenario, only EWS reservation should be given irrespective of caste/creed/religion. And caste based reservation should be banned except for the Scheduled Tribes.
If you want caste reservation to be removed then you’ll first have to remove the very notion of caste from your minds.
You’re neither a Brahmin/Shatriya/ Shudra/ Dalit etc. etc. ...just a simple plain Indian.

When I approached local Tehsildar Office at Mumbai I came to know about the criteria that the family of the applicant should be residence of Maharashtra since or before 1967. They ask you to produce a proof saying that your family is staying here from 1967 then what about those people who have migrated from other states to Mumbai from 25 to 30 years.
They are playing with the sentiments of general category students of the states.
Need clarity on this from Modiji and Education minister of India as well as Maharashra as this year students of GEN-EWS category will not be able to take benefit of this for admission to the governments premier institutes like NIT or IITS or Any other colleges in Maharashtra. Migrants are left with no choice or help.
I request the government of Maharashtra to remove this criteria.

When I was in class 9 then in my class I was the only one SC guy and rest students were from Upper Caste . So teachers used to ask openly in class about caste for 10th registration. I used to lie to my teachers that I belong to OBC caste then I personally message to teachers that I belong to SC caste just to save my dignity & because of embarrassment & shame I felt in my class & nobody in class would know about my caste , so I hide my caste. Same thing I did in 11 class for 12th registration but this time everyone came to know about my caste then my Pol science teacher & students most were from Upper Caste I was the only SC guy in my class again . Teacher & students had a discussion that these lower caste people should not get reservation & modi ji would soon remove the Lower caste reservation. My teacher & students used to hate me but somehow I averted this hate by a smile . Even my sister was harrassed by her computer teacher he was Dixit . He messaged her personality on zoom class & started abusing her & gave a threat that he would kill me & my sister. Because he used to hate sc PPL . But we complaint in police & taught him a lesson. I was a meritorious student in my class but now I realised why we PPL get reservation. Because of this reason " Untouchability " . Earlier i taught that reservation should be imposed as per economically but after these incidents I realised how important is " reservation " . I hate now mostly upper caste people becoz most of them are same . " Orthodox " . These people want to harrass us & at the same time want our reservation to be ended . First remove caste based discrimination then remove reservation. Everyone talks about that reservation should be stopped but no one talks about that caste based discrimination should be stopped. If I were a PM for one day i will abolish all castes in Hindu religion. Best solution for all !

When I was in 11th a guy of my batch asked me my caste,
Same like u I said SC without hesitation...
Then he said "itna mehnat kyu kr rha hai, aise hi JEE dede, aram se ho jayega, tution me paisa kyu waste kiya"...
That thing hurt me like anything...
Also we belonged to the topmost batch ( batch system is followed by many coaching classes, I hope u r aware )...
So anyway I worked hard and as a result I scored more than MOST of the Gen category students in our coaching class...
Also I landed in IIT Madras ( BTech Mechanical Engineering ) this year ...

I don't think they could practice untouchability there since they were not in their court, but had it been UP or North India, I am sure they would have done it happily.

Why mbbs doctors are getting reservations in pg seats. Their educational qualifications are now same as general category medical students. Thn why they are still getting reservations. There should be amendments in this system.

Reservation is not going to end caste discrimination. Instead it is boosting discrimination.
It increase the hate for reservation categories in non-reservation categories, when they failed to achieve their goal due to reservation.
The government should choose other method to terminate discrimination, like punisging the person who involved in discrimination.
Caste system should remove. If there is no caste system will no reservation.
