Love your videos you are very inspiring. I would love to see more content on the specific brands you pick up and what you sell them for! That would be really helpful to be able to know what’s worth picking up for me. Thanks!
Saw you on Techs channel, awesome sales!! Whenever my mail carrier goes on vacation, she makes sure that her replacement takes good care of my daily shipping. I go out of my way every year to take good care of our carrier, it really pays off. I have such a hard time here in Florida finding good jeans since most of the year everyone wears shorts or skirts, SO many Walmart jeans here UGH! Have a blessed weekend!
I’ve been watching almost all your videos this week, but question for you-do you ever go into detail the brands you pick up and why? Or go into detail with labels?
Sometimes I’ll share what items sold over a weekend. But I typically don’t just lay it all out because what works for me may not work for others. I instead try to teach people how to find items that do work for them and that are in their local area.
My problem is the LISTING!! I have to input so much information. Is there a way you streamline this or a video that you have done where you show it. I AM BINGE WATCHING ALL YOUR VIDEOS NOW. I list COOKBOOKS and I am following your way of the Title Bar but the listing has me totally stumped. IT TAKES FOREVER!!!! I live in Swansea Illinois about 30 minutes from St Charles Missouri.
Great video! What brands are jeans are you bread & butter? Also, what coffee machine and coffee pods is that? It's always nice to know what others coffee lovers are drinking. Thanks!
Ever seen a pair of Adriano Goldschmied selvedge jeans with a Sterling silver "49" button? I'm having trouble finding comps to know what to price them at. Thanks for the great videos. Keep them coming!
I'm wondering if you can tell us how you respond to offers, do you think we get punished for declining offers or ignoring them, and do you always respond in some way by countering or declining? Edit to add, also do you always send offers to likers?
I send out as many offers as I possibly can. I personally think it’s bad karma to decline offers. I personally just counter at the price I want if it’s a lowball offer coming in. It shows activity on that listing too so it will hopefully get boosted to the right buyer.
I have the same issue with my mail carriers. My regular carrier is amazing at picking up my packages but the subs never pick them up. I asked why and was informed the subs do not get the request from the mail sorter at the P.O. I enjoyed the video and was curious about the weight of packages but see you answered it in comments. Thank you for sharing what is written on the packages and how things are done by you and Kyle.
The subs not picking up can throw a wrench if we aren’t home in time to catch it! But hopefully, with this new rule, we won’t have any missed pickups :)
Thanks so much for sharing! I really like how efficient you are. Would you mind sharing what bags you use? I am currently buying zip-top bags from Amazon, but I think yours would be much more cost effective and I like the size. Thanks again!
I buy them off Amazon! They’re 12x15.5 clear polybags. There’s a few different quantity options to pick depending on what you need. They come out to around $0.08/bag for me
What size clear bags do you use for jeans and do you have a link where you buy them ? Also we sell shoes too would they work for that as well ? Our little business is growing and we gotta start some kind of organization lol😂 Thanks for all of your help !
Where do you get the bags that you store your jeans in after you photograph them? :) Also, I can relate to the USPS scheduled pick up. My main post man was AMAZING picks them up & scans them right there at his truck before going on. Then there was a good chunk of time that he wasn't my post man anymore and sometimes the new workers wouldn't pick them up, if they did, they wouldn't scan them until later on that day. Once I even had a package that wasn't scanned in for several days.. so, I just decided sadly I can't rely on the USPS workers & started taking in my packages for the peace of mind.
I've been hearing other non-reseller businesses who ship packages out are also having an issue like this with USPS. It's so frustrating! But to answer your question, I get my bags from Amazon! They're 12x15 :)
Congrats on top 10! Curious what program you use to print the consecutive sku numbers. Or do you have them printed out for you? What is the process for that? Thanks!
Hi Carrie, I've been watching your videos and they are all just great. I've picked up quite a few tips from you that I'm using in my store. You mention the ebay fees calculator from time to time, can i ask where you get that?
It’s a website! Just Google ebay fee calculator and it should be the first one to pop up. I also try to link it in the description every time I mention it :)
I used to homeschool everyday until I started my RUclips channel a few months ago. For the past couple of months, I’ve been just focusing on homeschooling the 4-day core curriculum into one or two days and then giving supplement paperwork they could do on their own for the other days. It seems to be working well! My son just aced his tests this week so he’s done for the summer! Still working on reading with my kindergartner though :)
Hello. I am sure your listings are great, which emphasize both photos and measurements. What is the main reason for returns especially when a customer has all this information already. Love the videos!
Sorry, I misread your question, let me try again! The main reason they return is because they don't know their measurements and just buy based on tag size. It's worse for the womens clothing because every brand has their own size chart. Lol
You are so lucky to have PO pickup. We are too small for that, I wait in line just like everyone else. Luckily I don't sell much. Great video, thank you!
I am on the verge of listing some items. I have had my ebay account for a long time but I am in Canada. I am still researching and deciding on what i should do for shipping. i have thought about usps flat rate but i have to figure out if it is worth to do a 3rd party over the boarder shipper like chit chats or stallion, my problem there is i am still north by about 4 hours from the closest city that has the third party shippers, so i might have to consolidateorders eventually but it's more about what to do right now. not sure if you have ideas on that, i have done the basic subscription with Tech hoping i can strategize more. I have quite a few items to start with but need to figure this shipping out as i would liketo ship to us from canada and open to international as well. Love the channel, Thank you Carrie.... Belinda
I wish I knew more about international shipping so I could help you out! I’m sure there are Canadians in the group that can help you figure a strategy out though :)
Hi Belinda. I am also in Canada and I use calculated shipping w/ Canada Post. Never any issues. That said I would love to use chitchat or Stallion but I'm too far away as well.
In the beginning, you can see what others who are selling similar items are charging and use their pricing. But after you sell an item, you’ll see how much postage actually costs and start adjusting your shipping prices from there if needed. I like adding a buffer to my shipping because we get charged fees on shipping as well. I also make sure that the shipping covers packaging expenses too.
@@carrieathome yours look like they have some stretch to it. The ones I have don’t and tend to rip . Do you mind sharing the Amazon link to the specific item. I’d appreciate it;-)
How do you handle selling personal items and items for business? Do you have separate eBay accounts for personal and business? I'm using the same account for selling personal, flips and selling items for friends. Its a bit hard to keep track of what is what. I'm thinking of separating the flipping side to a new store. Is that a good idea?
We hardly sell things for friends on our store but if we do it's just one item. It's easy to track how much profit is left after fees and shipping on one item. If it helps to separate the personal from business, no harm in having two stores!
Would you know why my ebay store went up 1200 percent on external views and organic views dropped more than 75 percent what causes this thanks keep up the great work
I also recently had a huge influx of impressions a month or two ago and now not as much. It's probably less people on eBay buying during the summer time vs fall/winter time.
How much was that bins purchase? I’m curious how much it would be for the I think 13-15 jeans and 6 shirts, right? Haven’t been to my bins yet. It’s 40 mins away in NJ. There’s only 2

Hehe... our carriers have been unreliable on the pickup, so my alarm goes off at 4:30pm every day. They will attempt to refuse to perform the acceptance scan at the counter as of 5:45pm.
