***** Yo everything I say below is manga spoilers (granted they are very soft manga spoilers and don't specify anything but if you don't want anything spoiled you might not want to read it) Eren gains a new power later on in the series that overpowers him compared to Annie and the other Titan shifters, and makes it so he can kill his enemies easier. Since that happens, he might become less likable in the second season, since that's when he's going to gain this power. I dunno though, when I read the part that talked about it I still liked Eren just fine. I guess it's just preference.

At one point, he becomes very, very angry and screams. After he screams at a certain titan (I'm not gonna say who it is but it'll be important later), an entire horde of titans come in and rip the other titan apart, then proceed to eat him.
