Mukono Diocese Celebrates 40 Years

Mukono Diocese has celebrated 40 years of existence since its formation in 1983.
The function that took place at St. Phillip’s and Andrew’s Cathedral, Mukono was attended by several dignitaries including serving and former Bishops, Clergy and the general public with the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda the Most Rev. Dr. Samuel Stephen Kazimba Mugalu as the main celebrant.
In his address, the Archbishop urged Christians of Mukono Diocese to extend a hand in the construction of the new cathedral building. He also cautioned Ugandans against discriminating against people with HIV/AIDS.
