We booked an overnight sail on Milford Sound when we were at the Te Anau campsite. They had a special offer on but can’t remember how much. We were on a budget so booked the backpacker boat.When we arrived 2 days later they told us that our boat wasn’t sailing due to lack of passengers… so we’ve upgraded you to the luxury boat instead! En suite cabin, three course dinner etc. It poured and poured on the way out which was spectacular. The next morning when we turned around to sail back in, wall to wall sunshine and the most amazing waterfalls. A truly magical experience. Loved your video, brought back so many happy memories.
The stars were definitely with you for your trip, Upgraded, initially wet to fill up the waterfalls and then sunny to see them in all their splendour. Not jealous at all! 🤣 but still very happy for you😀 It must have been the highlight of your NZ trip? Cheers...Andy&Michelle
We kayaked there for 5 hours. The most incredible experience and perfect weather despite it being November. Then took the most amazing flight over Doubtful Sound. Absolutely stunning

As a kid in the 60s, Tunnel Beach was the playground for us local Corstorphine kids no tracks down, we had to sneak through the farm, and we fished off the top, where you said you couldn't go.
Didn't see the Barbour Hat🥲, given the number of tourists and the wind on those boats there must be a whole lot of fish down there sporting very nice caps! cheers...Andy&Michelle
We had a very wet day and did see not anything like your views. Our biggest disappointment of our trip. It was still great to do for the waterfalls but no jurassic park moments
oh what a shame, I felt our views could have been a lot better tbh, I imagine when it's caught on the right day (sunny after a lot of rain) it really would be one of the best ever experiences, cheers...Andy&Michelle

Another lovely video. We loved it at Milford Sound but there were a lot of tourists, including us!. Did you find a Barbour hat in the water there.
