    Two people in the front definitely knew the song before it was released 😂

      Dudes like that are obnoxious. It's like, "look at my hand so you can see I obviously know the lyrics"....I guess I get it, but it's still annoying to me.

    kind of interesting to see his technique in how he goes performing this live. obviously he has no easy time hitting the high notes in full on belting (who has tho), so instead he does this ig hybrid fry scream. I suspect this is actually also what he did on the studio version, just with adjusted volume, so there's no difference between belting and screaming. it's good to see that he does not push himself on stage and rather tries to make up for it by switching technique. would be a shame if he injured himself.

      It’s called pitch screaming. Combining fry with a pitch where it’s more of a 50/50 sound. Ice nine kills’s Spencer charnas does this a lot in songs

      To be honest and to be fair. Rory sounded like he was losing his voice that night. I think in my opinion he did great given the circumstances 🤘😈

      I agree, looks like he was tired at the later end of the set or just had a rough voice day that day. Still… to sound that good while having a rough day is impressive imo

    I just saw the video for this song and had to find a live performance to see what they did to make up for all the auto-tune, pitch-shifting and other obvious corrections in post-production. This is about what I expected, sadly. Rory not even coming close to hitting these notes. They have so many effects correcting his mistakes on the video version he almost sounds like T-Pain all digitized to hell

    • @spamfriedrice316
      @spamfriedrice316 2 года назад +3

      “Hate to disagree man. It’s a live performance. Did you want him to sound like Adele with the notes? Lol. Cheers though thanks for checking out the video.” (In T-pain’s voice)

    • @fullyawakened
      @fullyawakened 2 года назад

      @@spamfriedrice316 You disagree with what exactly? They used many effects and corrections in post in the studio to change his voice dramatically. It's glaringly obvious they didn't have those resources during this performance. He should be able to hit the notes of the songs he writes and sings. What is even slightly controversial about any of those statements?

      @@fullyawakened Again coming from a positivity. Im guessing base on your comments and observations. You’re a talented music producer or in a hugeeeeeeeee successful band. Cheers and I’ll leave it at that. If you don’t like the video go ahead and dislike it and keep pushing. No discussion needed lol. I upload for people to enjoy not to bash on how talented the bands are.

      @@spamfriedrice316 It is my profession, actually. I'm an acoustic/audio engineer and I've worked in lots of studios and recorded successful bands in the US and Canada. That is completely inconsequential however, as one does not need to be trained or professional in any category in order to say the most obvious thing about a recording. This is cheesed, HEAVILY. It isn't the end of the world for this band, nor does it mean my bands must be soooooo much better in order to say anything about it. It's just a very obvious undisputable criticism. This particular live performance is not very good, objectively, by any metric you would judge a performance to be good or bad by.
