For those considering downloading the Blackmagic camera app, please be aware it takes video only, not photographs. So if you want something that just takes pictures - this isn't it.
For me I can always use two apps if necessary if it is the best, but i agree it is an inconvenience. why wouldn’t it also be able to take pictures. Also being free is a huge upside.
I've been trying to get the free guide for filming on Smartphone, but for some reason, it doesn't show up in my email. Could I receive some assistance on this, please?
Hello from Greece. If you permit me my ask you a question. I don't have any high-tech phone Mi9 lite and shoot photos and videos by hobby. What can I do when shooting videos let say on a train while travelling and shadows and lights change rapidly and very often lose faces of persons wearing large hats. This is a general question but what can I do when I use the apks you propose. I ask you because you are an expert in photography and shooting videos. Thank you in advance.
Nice video my friend. I have the samsung s23 ultra compatible with BM app. I wonder if apart from the convenience of the app it offers a better image?? Why should I prefer the BM app and not the professional video of samsung? Please an answer!
The BM app gives you the option to remove noise reduction and sharpness; which reduce quality and gives your videos the phone look. It also gives you an option to record HDR footage(if your phone's chip is capable) and allows you to import and record with LUTs.
A fantastic best camera app for android review video Justin and my next phone will have to have support for the Black Magic camera app. Love 🥰 the video and love ❤ Justin and the 💗Primal Video Team.
Thanks! Glad you liked the video. Hope your next phone supports the Blackmagic app. Appreciate the love for Justin and the Primal Video Team! 😊 - Hazel, PV Team
What about photo camera app that captures moving objects. I have most difficult time finding an android phone app to take pictures of animals and wildlife. Thank you
This list feels incomplete. There's an app allowing you to bypass the image signal processor sharpening and denoising, as well as allowing capture in prores log and raw video (as well as comes with comprehensive photo and timelapse modes) yet it was painfully absent in the list 😞
@@oluwajuwonloowojori8049 its called Motioncam Pro, and it's in my opinion the best one. Google, Samsung, and Qualcomm/Manchester United all used it already to film smartphone commercials showcasing the device camera quality. That should tell you all you need to know.
I just want a phone app that overrides the crappy camera lenses that makes my head look twice the size than it really is 😂 I mean there's three lenses, why do I still look like a chipmunk when I smile?😅
Sadly, it doesn't work on a lot of models of newer Androids (save for Google). If you look for it directly and click through a link from your phone's browser, it'll tell you your phone isn't compatible. It's largely development costs - easier to test for just one or two phones than it is to test across a bank of phones.
@@PrimalVideo Blackmagic camera doesnot have bitrate control and color profile/color gamut control (except rec709 and rec2020hlg). And not compatible with a lot of android. Protake is not good for android, not anyway. Better MCPro24fps or Motioncam. My pic is mcpro. it has every manual control, different color codec and video, audio codec and compatible with almost every android phone.
Can someone explain why when I take video on Instagram it looks a lot better than when I take one using my phone? I have a Moto g62 5g, and I'm talking about the front camera

Choose "Manual "exposure and adjust it for the faces and leave it locked the way you like it so the exposure won't fluctuate

I'd love to use the Blackmagic App, but it's unavailable for my Nokia X20. Oh, well. Maybe for the next phone.

Are you endorsed by these app makers? Be honest! If not then thank you, if yes then. Well I won't write what I think. Cheers in advance:)
