This was reminiscent of 2021 in the final four where both teams left it all on the floor
I accidently (maybe on purpose, lol) watched this game twice and both times it was an amazing game to watch. Those amazing two last 3pt. shots were incredible and made the game that much more electrifying. Edge-of-your-seat action at the end.
Gonzaga almost pulled a choke job like in 2006 against UCLA. Also I didn’t realize Gonzaga had 8 straight Sweet 16 appearances.
You realize UCLA was favored, right? Why are LA people so dense
Post Gonzaga TCU
Crazy shot by Strawther. Hope him the best in Denver
Fdu vs fau ?
It was going to be hard to live up to the 2021 final four game but they sure tried
Post Arizona state Vs TCU
Can you post the 2015 one
March 23, 2006 2 seed UCLA vs 3 seed Gonzaga in the West Region. UCLA wins
March 23, 2023 2 seed UCLA vs 3 seed Gonzaga in the west region. Gonzaga wins
Man exactly 17 years later Same teams, same seeding, also same day. But the revenge is sweeter
utter insanity.
@21:08 “The footwork there, multiple pivots...” nah ... that’s multiple steps ... aka travel! Classic Travel’n Timme
Actually, Timme wasn’t walking most of the game ... till now @45:27 his weakness is acceleration, but the refs don’t call it 😢
@1:00:39 The classic Timme Travel. Establish pivot, bad habit of lifting the pivot foot to accelerate. Only called 2-5% of the time. Sadly.
@1:01:28 Watch the pivot foot! It’s lifted before the dribble!! BS announcers - they should be frustrated w/ uncalled travels and calling out disgraceof individuals that flop.
@1:04:29 You see, Travl’n Timme is permitted TWO pivot foots. The refs can’t see it, and the announcers refuse to.
For my money, this was the game of the tournament
Neither one was there at the end?

FAU vs k state
@24:26 why is this a legit defensive play? The UCLA defender is clearly leaping far away and up out of his established position and meeting the Gonzaga offensive player, leaping up to dunk, in the air. Is this always arbitrarily (not) called, or is there a clear rule that shows this is a missed call or well-judged as not an infraction? Any reference to NCAA rules book would be a bonus ...
Agreed..I think that it is just a missed call. Watson, the Gonzaga player, doesn't seem too upset though. Doesn't mean it's a clean play.
@1:03 oh it’s too early for flops!
@7:44 the flop is not a defensive move!
@52:48 I hate those flops.
@58:35 Finally even the announcers agree thankfully the refs didn’t call a foul when “...Salis took a dive...”. I prefer we call a flop a FLOP!
just to lose against uconn
UConn was too much for any team at that point. They destroyed every team in their path.
