I shared some Glow tracts with a family today at the clinic I attend. As they examined them they quickly asked me if I were SDA. I assured them that I am and they told me that they are also. We chatted a bit and they told me that they enjoyed SUMtv programs also, especially how Pastor Bohr breaks down the Scriptures. Just wanted to let you know that people are watching/listening and being impacted by the grace of God. Glory be to God.
Professor Veith has several excellent presentations on the Bible as part of his total onslaught series
When leaders fail to redress issues in a timely manner then problems go on for a far longer time than necessary. May the Lord help us to be diligent in doing His work.
Watching from VA, thank you Pastors!
I know that I am a bit off topic but I wish Pastor Bohr would explain why the 24 elders are not mentioned in Ezekiel's vision of the Heavenly temple.
Because Jesus only includes important details in all of the scriptures. Don’t focus on what you think should be there and focus on what is there.
@@Joanne_uk Your comment basically accuses me of thinking the 24 elders should be in Ezekiel's vision and I am at a loss as to what is in my original comment that could possibly have caused you to make such an assumption.
There is a reason the 24 elders were not seen by Ezekiel and that is what makes many SDA Pastors think the elders were once fallible human beings who rose victoriously over sin when Jesus resurrected and were taken with Him to officiate with Him in the Heavenly temple on the behalf of the rest of humanity in a way angels cannot. From this perspective, the KJV of Revelation appears accurate. Can Pastor Bohr thoroughly address the appearance of these elders without considering their absence in Ezekiel's vision? This is why I hope he will reveal his thoughts on that aspect especially as it occurred long before Jesus entered the Heavenly sanctuary.
The other nail in coffin for Revelation 5:9 is the "they". It says, and I quote from the KJV, "And THEY sung a new song..."
The previous verse, as context, tells us who the "they" are:
Rev 5:8 KJV And when he had taken the book, *the four beasts and four and twenty elders* fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
Notice, it is both the four living creatures AND the twenty-four elders that are here mentioned. This leads me to believe that both of these groups are doing the singing.
Edit: my point is that the four living creatures are absolutely not redeemed humans. Since they are grouped with the twenty-four elders, it's inconsistent that these could be humans.
