I'm shocked Sonata didn't address the most obvious hole to widen: Pinkie never mentioned seeing Rainbow Dash specifically making the tornado, only a pegasus with rainbow hair. Given RD has her own fanclub, complete with wigs, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that the culprit behind the tornado was a completely different pony.
@@elenece - Oh I see now! Stream Line must have figured out Rainbow Dash was switching out her performance enhancing juice for standard juice, she then confronted Rainbow Dash who calls her out for using performance enhancing juice to cheat, and threatens to inform Spitfire. Stream Line then created that tornado wearing a rainbow wig but passed out from withdrawal of that 'special' juice, losing her wig in the process before passing out, all with the intention of blaming Rainbow Dash and getting her removed from the Wolderbolts BEFORE Rainbow has a chance to expose Stream Line of using performance enhancing juice.
@@JP_Loco_93 But we won't know because she never got the chance to explain in detail about the Pegasus making the tornado and was removed from the stand by fucking Luna.
Remember the pony from Turnabout Storm with the orange coat and rainbow mane? What if she’s involved in this too? What if Stream Line hired her to be an imposter?
I really appreciate how every character in this is competent. Pinkie doesn't just take Luna's beratement of Rainbow lying down and steps up to defend her. Judge calls out Luna for acting out of line. It really helps the characters feel more in-depth.
Ah, “Lawkeeper Atticus” is a reference to Atticus Finch from “To Kill a Mockingbird,” and the cameo of his voice from TheGoldCrow is neat since he voiced Phoenix Wright in “Turnabout Storm!”
I will facepalm myself in comedic frustration if Atticus died/vanished because Celestia (the supreme authority of the land) was incompetent enough to let other people’s petty prejudices/racism/preconceptions get in the way of justice.
Interesting why Rainbow doesn’t outright say what I’m sure by now most of us are thinking in regards to what’s going on with the victim: “She’s not poisoned, she’s suffering withdrawals, because she was doping!”

Damn, Luna was a real nasty piece of work this episode, I was so proud of Pinkie Pie for calling her out like that, I truly did not expect Pinkie Pie of all characters to go off on her like that, but Pinkie was 100% in the right here. Luna was completely out of line, she was downright cruel toward Rainbow & poor Pinkie, definitely not the same Luna who wanted to help save Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle & Turning Page, this time she seemed fuelled completely by anger and was only out for blood. Normally Rainbow Dash's outburst would get on my nerve, but it was completely warranted here, even if it did almost cause the Defense to lose the case, but the way Luna spoke to Pinkie, I can't blame Rainbow Dash for retelliating the way she did. I really hope they bring Pinkie Pie back. I feel like there’s more to this ‘juice mare’ than we think. I think the juice mare could play a big role in figuring out what really happened with Stream Line’s collapse. Also I still stand by my point that Stream Line was not poisoned at all and that she passed out due to drug withdrawals. Grickle grass isn’t a drug for poisoning but a form of steroids
I do hope you caught wind of the other recent theories about Stream Line being an alias of Stella/Epsie! (and that the withdrawal symptoms primarily related to appearance changing drugs, not necessarily performance boosters)
@@topnotchshinobicould Stream Line possibly be Lightning Dust in disguise? Do you think Lightning Dust could have a history with the twins? This juice mare thing was something I was never able to get out of my head. I feel like Pinkie’s juice mare thing isn’t some running gag. I feel the juice mare is an important piece to the puzzle Watching this, it brought me back to the episode “Fame and Misfortune”, specially the song “Flawless” with Pinkie’s solo lyrics “Ponies think I'm all bubbles and laughter That I don't seem sincere I might joke around a little too much But I'm just so happy you're here” Those lines and Pinkie’s appearance on this episode both share common grounds of a problem Pinkie faces. Due to her light hearted personality, people don’t take her seriously. Pinkie Pie’s core personality maybe joy, but she’s capable of other emotions too, even the more negative ones like sadness and anger, which was presented here which is very tragic. People assume Pinkie isn’t genuine or sincere because of her bubbly and zany personality
I'm pretty sure the "Juice Box Mare" was meant as a reference to Shrek. I don't know if we should expect that to come up again. Regarding the steroid thing, I just want to make a minor correction. Grickle Grass IS a poison, not a steroid. However, Sonata has just cast doubt on the diagnosis of Grickle Grass poisoning. Withdrawal is looking increasingly likely as the real reason Stream Line collapsed. This episode went out of its way to mention withdrawal, which is either a Chekov's Gun or the creators trolling us.
When I saw the familiar underground lake, my mind went: oh my gosh, cloning might actually be relevant in these two shared cases for once. Luna and Trixie are going to have a field day with this later onwards.
@@Mihoshi009 You mean Espie? If that were the case, then why did Estella say to "check on Espie" if she was talking to Espie? No, my suspects for Estella's murder right now are Amber Gleam, Stream Line, or Cruise Control.
@zimonzieclown1633 It might be your last two suspects, because for sure it has to be a Pegasus pony. You can hear when they run away, they take a few cautious steps back, run but then a sound of a take-off. And that same pony might be the silhouette at the end of the closing credits.
wow, Luna's REALLY gone devil's advocate. she's really gonna need a humble pie after this whole thing is over, and maybe some sort of emotional comeuppance. I find she was more tolerable in crusading for a turnabout, even siding with Athena in the last episode of that, but i guess the after events of that trial have clearly hurt her so much that's she's lost her heart. even the judge called her out for this and gave her a penalty. if Stream Line DOES turn out to have been the villain all along and had actually did that to herself and that she actually IS a cheat, that would serve as a catalyst
But what will be the deciding factor that Stream Line is a cheat? To me, I think Pinkie probably could be the key to doing so. I think Pinkie being ejected might only make things harder for Sonata. We still don’t know anything about this juice mare. I feel like this isn’t some running gag. I feel like Pinkie was trying to tell the court something. Could the juice mare really be the deciding factor of Rainbow’s fate?
She was a prosecutor who didn't believe in the guilt of Scootaloo/. Honestly, she should have been removed from THAT case. She's swung too far, but you'd be surprised how many times a lying witness or uncooperative one has led to such a loud ouburst.
Honestly I sympathize with how hard Sonata is suffering in this situation with a Rainbow still distrustful of her, an serious prosecutor Luna and a Pinkie... being Pinkie 😁, this case is precisely one of the most difficult that Sonata has had as a lawyer. 😮
More like a terrible prosecutor. Luna had been in contempt of court multiple times after multiple direct warnings from the judge and absolutely refuses to relent from the grickle grass theory despite there being not one but two contradictions to this. The test coming back negative and the hallucination symptom which does not match grickle grass. Luna has absolutely nothing to stand on but because Luna says these contradictions Sonata pointed must be mistakes, why, not because of any new evidence that debunks Sonata’s evidence, but because Luna says so, that’s why. If this was any other level headed prosecutor Rainbowdash would already be a free mare. Luna at this point is borderline abusing her authority as an acting ruler to supersede this trial’s normal procedures.
@@sonicgen20Sonata is kind of enabling it by waiting so long to say anything, even if it's to have the facts in place, though given she's the only character that can't make a feint may also be partially why, especially if the Mia parallel extends to the outcome of Mia's first case
Luna was completely acting like Prince Blueblood in this court, after all, she vocally attacked Pinkie and Rainbow Dash for objecting to her insane claims that she didn't have evidence to support in the first place.
Luna was a complete fucking asshole to everyone and should not have been put back on the prosecutor bench in the first place. She let her own pride and complete lack of care for the actual truth become the weapon of her damned game for the "truth" and turned it into a fucking weapon of evil reincarnated at Rainbow Dash and cut her cross examination off in order to attack her until she confessed to something that was misinterpreted to give Luna her fucking win. LUNA IS SUPER FUCKED UP IN THE FUCKING HEAD!!!!
I suspect Luna, at her core, has never truly forgiven herself for her own past betrayal of Celestia (becoming Nightmare Moon). When Luna accuses Rainbow Dash of black-hearted treason, she’s really just projecting her own past sins to color her interpretation of current events.
Ok, theory time: Espie is the mirror pool clone of Estella, both of which had a good life until Espie went rogue and killed Stella. Out of immense guilt and shame, she fled and completely changed her identity, to Stream Line. By then, she probably found something like semi-permanent appearance changing drugs, diluting it into favored juice boxes, and eventually became addicted. Rainbow probably suspected drug use and switched out the spiked juices with regular ones, thus reducing her intake. Eventually, she went into a severe state of withdrawal, slightly hallucinating about Estella, which is explained through that phrase, eventually collapsing. If this turns out to be true, that would explain why Overall was killed, he SAW Estella’s dead body and Espie, probably using an invisibility potion or spell, snuck into the theater and killed him, making it appear as a suicide. And another thing, Grickle Grass is maybe an added ingredient to these possible appearance altering drugs/potions, but causes adverse side effects while in withdrawal, which might explain the distinct symptoms. Geez, to think the mirror pool was mentioned again seriously means Estella was probably the one who unblocked it in the first place. That place will prove revelatory in the future at some point.
Prosecutor Luna isn’t gonna like that, back to the clones Also yeah, seeing as in the outro, both estella and espie are represented by the same cutie mark, but a good part of espie’s body is hidden, so we cannot see wing nor cutie mark on espie. Tho i wonder, could it be possible that espie could be a clone of the real espie. Like the real one died, but stella was able to clone her and make her live. Then the clone espie found out about it and killed stella in a fit of rage at the discovery.
One problem with this theory is that neither of the Pantomimia sisters are pegasi, and at no point has it even been hinted that "appearance changing drugs" exist in this series. If something has not at least been hinted at in a murder mystery, it is probably not the solution. Otherwise, it's not a very good murder mystery.
@racquelillustrates1792 Twilight really needs to seal that mirror pool or better yet plug it up with something super heavy or put a barrier around it so no one could use it for dumb reasons cause that pool is to dangerous.
As expected, Pinkie's testimony was delightfully chaotic. The clever Muffin man reference and Pinkie stepping up to defend her friend Rainbow from Luna's- I mean Nightmare Moon's beratement were unexpected and great surprises. Speaking of the devil, wow what a fall from grace, but great writing for her! I wish Rainbow referenced that past evil state Luna once beared to her face like "Oh yeah? Like how "loyal" you were to your subjects when you became a ruthless and cold monster?" ...though that would've derailed the trial and resulted in an explosion of anger that could've gotten others hurt. Or in a calm yet quick request for a recess. Good thing, the Judge held Luna accountable for her unprofessional behavior in this trial. Also Sonata's smug energy in Scene 5 was great and satisfying to see. And that cliffhanger...hats off to the team! Finally, was there ever a Ace Attorney defendant who has dug themselves in a pit as deep as Rainbow now has? From memory, Albert Harebrayne might be the closest.
53:30 I honestly knew Rainbow Dash wasn't the smartest main character (and she's made a lot of mistakes in the same series) but admitting her feelings towards Stream Line... was the lowest thing she could do, really. 😤
Rainbow’s biggest flaw as a character (tying back to her key trait as the element of loyalty) is that she sees the world in terms of black and white. For Rainbow, there is only absolute good vs absolute evil, and there is absolute loyalty vs absolute treachery/abandonment/flakiness. I think this case will be a very formative lesson for Rainbow to finally grow up by accepting the reality the world (and the people who live in it) operate in shades of gray.
@@jonathansands7873I think she just meant the collapse. Rd can be angry but I doubt she'd ever say I'm glad someone died. Her rage 😳 isn't going to help us paint her as innocent tho. Yikes
I think rainbow suspected stream line is on 'roids and sneaking it in her juice, and stream line collapsed from withdrawals. Hallucinations are a common symptom of withdrawals. even alluded to this being the case already with pinkie being worried about going cold turkey on juice lol

Honestly I found Luna quite annoying in this case. She's making threats and deliberately ignoring the rules and acting like they don't apply to her. She clearly isn't in the right state of mind to come back to the court.
Part of that annoyance may indirectly be from Sonata doing nothing, her lack of experience shown with a lack of feints notable of every other AA attorney, potentially this series, too, if Twilight pushes into it
@@nameynamd9212yes but as we know, most of the defence attorneys in elements of justice start off that way and they have to start somewhere, but I do see where you're coming from
ALl I can say is holy.....mother of Celestia.....just........watch this and be blown away. Mint as Pinkie Pie killed it, as did Luna, Sonata and every other VA in this entire production. This is already one of my favorite episodes so far in Elements of Justice. It even surpassed some of Case 2 which was incredible! Just.............wow.....
1- Gotta appreciate how Sonata smoothly integrated the Ace Attorney Investigation mechanics into the series! (to make up for Edgeworth himself not showing up in Elements of Justice) Though, I will say her deliberately slow burn “wait and see” approach would have tested my patience/faith in her too, if I were in Rainbow Dash’s defendant shoes. 2- Gotta say, even though I’m sad to see Luna descend into a merciless Nahyuta Sahdmadhi-inspired zealotry approach, the regressive character development feels very understandably connect to last case’s revelations/outcome. Luna, at her core, has never fully/truly forgiven herself for betraying Celestia (as Nightmare Moon). And having recently discovered that she was duped by last case’s grand deception (Fair Devotion, Sugar Stamp, and Private Eye tampering with the evidence and testimonies to get Turning Page completely off the hook), Luna does not exactly have the best mental health to address her unresolved “betrayal” trauma button. So Luna is unhealthily coping by mercilessly hunting down everyone else’s perceived treacherous actions, evidence blind spots be damned. 3- Also enjoy how the Ace Attorney formula was subverted by having Luna rant her way into preemptively shutting down Sonata’s final cross examination (of the chapter) before Sonata even had a proper chance to begin. On a funnier note, however, this reminds me of Von Karma’s “end the trial in three minutes” demand/prediction during Turnabout Goodbyes.
But not necessarily because Stream Line (if that even is her real identity) was primarily interested in cheating at competitions. The increased speed was perhaps merely incidental to “Stream Line”/Stella/Espie’s true goals of staying transformed and undiscovered from the Equestrian public masses. (to avoid responsibility for Stella/Espie’s death long ago)
Best episode yet. I was over the edge the whole episode. I was so emotional when Luna started insulting Rainbow in front of Pinkie. I freaking shout "WTF Luna!" unconsciously. It was one of those moments when you say something and imidiatly you put your hand in your mouth haha, fun times.
This is a good case, but MAN is it frustrating especially with Rainbow Dash!!!! Why doesn't she just say what she was doing switching the juice boxes even after her big rant on Stream Line? Literally, anything she could have said would not make the situation any worse, so give the defense SOME information. I get Dash doesn't trust Sonata and is stubborn, but this is beyond stubborn and reaches stupidity. I get Dash from the show can do stupid things, but this feels too much even for Dash on her worst days. I really hope she does something to majorly help Sonata because right now it looks like it was a mistake for Sonata to trust her. I've been getting the vibes with Equity and Suri's comment that ponies have started losing faith in the Equestrian royalty and Luna's performance here is just going to make things worse. She basically took all the wrong lessons from her last case which is a shame, especially after her talk with Celestia it seemed she would get better, but only got worse. I doubt Celestia is going to be as friendly as she was then for their next conversation. I'm glad the Judge finally put his foot down with her, but I definitely think he should have done it earlier, especially since what Luna did to Dash could be having her confess due to coercion which is illegal. She pretty much proves her critics correct that she isn't fit to be a prosecutor and should have been held in contempt for her attitude. Though I guess that's basically on point for Phoenix Wright prosecutors. I am curious what this penalty will mean for her. My favorite part of this episode is Pinkie. She was pretty much perfect. Great voice acting, is funny, sees things in her own unique way but isn't stupid, and gave Luna much-needed talking too. No notes on Pinkie she was great. I do wish her testimony led to more solid evidence. I also feel like she shouldn't have been removed from the stand when Luna was intentionally antagonizing her. I also find it funny the Judge pointed out how Streamline is still alive because I honestly forgot that. I do worry she might not be completely truthful with her testimony since she definitely did something wrong to get Rainbow that mad at her.
Oh Luna, Luna Luna Luna, you are not doing good there. We want our kindhearted Princess of the Night back please. So much to fix and so many questions still to answer
I can imagine that, after this trial, Celestia hears about what Luna did and is very upset with her, calling her out for accusing one of the heroes of Equestria, who had saved her from being Nightmare Moon and protected their kingdom multiple times, as a dangerous criminal
Ace Attorney’s plot has always benefited from deflating tension with characters such as Larry Butz and Wendy Oldbag; so glad to see Pinkie fulfilling this niche!
Given how the courier/delivery mare in Case 2 turned out to be a manipulative (though sympathetically well-intentioned) witness who perjured herself and obstructed the investigation, I shudder to imagine what kinds of stunts the juice box mare will pull off both inside and beyond the courtroom (in comparison to Sugar Stamp).
This episode was crazy. Loved the logic bubbles getting destroyed when it was no longer relevant, that was neat. Pink pony was a joy to watch, and seeing her stand up for RD against Luna was beautiful, 10/10. Wonderfully in character. (Side Note: You already that if this was part of the game, you'd get penalized for pressing statements that wasted time a la 2-3.) Rainbow Dash not shutting the hell up was crazy, almost got me thinking the trial was actually over! Of course, being that this is Ace Attorney, the defense was able to get an extension regardless, due to the toxicology report. Girl really thought she was going to get away with such a lousy report, I'm sick. Also, unlike Ace Attorney, the prosecution actually faced consequences in the form of a penalty. You have no idea how vindicated I felt: years of watching these prosecutors insult and assault the defense, only for nothing to be done about it! Hopefully Luna doesn't pull a Von Karma because of this... Pardon the rambling nature of this comment, just wanted to put this out there while the episode was still fresh in my mind 😅.
This episode was really holding my breath every minute that passed. I was really shocked that Luna went so far of accusing Pinkie. It would seem that she still suffer some pain from the last trial. Now this episode brought me three questions to this case: How did Stream Line know Estella? Was there another killer to Estella's murder? And what happened to Estella's sister, Espie?
39:50 I don’t blame the judge either it’s about time order is restored!!! And I give credit to pinkie pie for calling out Luna like that she had every right to do so in my honest opinion I got a feeling it won’t be the last encounter and an argument between pinky and Luna!
POTENTIAL SPOILERS!!!! Wait… is Stream Line….Espie? Probably a stretch… also seems like the mirror pool is coming back. Edit: One more thing…. YES FINALLY the judge did his job properly for a good bit of this video.
Two things I must compliment the writing for with this episode. The fact that the writers managed to give such a perfect out of line attitude for Luna, going so far as to coerce Rainbow Dash into giving in to her pride and loyalty to the Wonderbolt academy KNOWING that would trigger her to go off and say the worst things possible to almost result in a Guilty verdict makes her outright look like a very hatable antagonist that we'd want to see be given a wake up call. She's become so blinded by rage from the previous case, that her behavior has shifted from being her calmer self, to that of Nightmare Moon. So thus, she played a very dirty tactic by interrupting the cross examination and targeting Rainbow's loyalty and pride in order to swiftly ALMOST end the trial in her favor. Which leads me to my second compliment. The writing of the Judge. The writers of EoJ have actually balanced out the Judge's incompetent nature with his serious duty as a Judge. In regards to the side of me that is an AA fan, I was genuinely impressed with how they had the Judge outright acknowledge Luna's outburst, how it affected the defendant RD and how Luna had played it out even going so far as to give her a penalty for her actions. It is NOT an exaggeration to say that The Judge giving the Prosecution any form of penalty in the Ace Attorney series is absolutely rare. So genuinely, bravo to the writing team once again for this. As for the voice acting, everyone did a superb job here. The tension was flawless, the emotion was bursting and my goodness Pinkie Pie's anger is something you don't see every day and I felt it flat out when Luna started verbally attacking her. Overall, just superb writing and superb voice acting all around. Bravo to everyone for yet another fantastic episode!
I can't wait for Luna to eat a humble pie when she sees the innocence in the defendant and it is in fact HER who's been the delusional she claimed the others were. first it was Rainbow Dash i was peeved over, but now it's Luna. I'm glad people have called her out for it, even the judge.
Geez... that trial was intense, I was practically stressed during all the arguments, and just geez... my mind is just spinning in all directions right now.
The whole “correlation is not causation”/“withdrawal symptoms are the true cause of the collapse” twist felt unnecessarily delayed timing-wise, in my blunt opinion. But, I will admit that if that blind spot was addressed too soon, then perhaps the first day of this trial would have been way too short for this fandom’s tastes.
15:06 - wasn't expecting a Call of Duty Zombies reference with the 'Pack-a-Punch', 'Mule Kick' and the walk into the perk machine bottle clang sound effect from the early games. Got a good chuckle out of me.
I believe this to be the case, and Espie believes Overall Concept killed her, beyond upset that Overall Concept was found innocent, this led to Espie plotting to get revenge, personally I don't think whoever killed Overall Concept actually planned to kill him, but rather Coco Pommel, but something went really wrong. Think about it, if Espie believes Overall Concept killed Stella, then she likely wanted to kill Coco to make Overall Concept feel exactly how she felt.
@@JP_Loco_93 That might have been the case, but why would some pony frame Rarity for conspiracy to murder if they could have just covered their tracks during the first trial.
1:51 I’m with Sonata on this, First dash didn’t help on the scootaloo trial, only to berate the one who helped end it, then tongue lashing rarity and her sister in the aftermath. Only to create chaos in this case too, resisting arrest, she might get a sentence just for that.
By the end of this, I expect Rainbow, after being proven innocent, Luna will come to make an attempt at an apology, only for Rainbow to flight right in her face and whisper: “You should never have left the Moon.”-or something similar. Honestly I’m surprised nobody’s bringing up that Rainbow helped save Luna from being Nightmare Moon yet. Luna’s absolute belligerence to the element bearers is staggering considering what they’ve done for Equestrian and her.
I feel like that will be said by someone to Luna soon and it will either cause luna to reconsider what she is saying and apologize to everyone or anger her more to the point she flat out turns into nightmare moon and recks havoc in the courtroom.

With the cliffhanger the last one ended on, I’ve been eager to see how this case would go, even if it meant likely going from bad to worse at the outset. As usual, spoilers below, lol As we wait for the trial to readjourn, we now have a slightly clearer picture of the previous Lawkeeper, the one who helped Sonata with her law career, and Equity's predecessor: Atticus. He reached out to Sonata while she was still in prison, and his kindness and courtesy really inspired her. Sounds like he was somepony worthy of respect. But here's what I was waiting for, and dreading: Rainbow blowing up at Sonata for how she's been conducting her defense and blaming her for how she now looks, when she's the one sabotaging herself by holding onto her grudge and not telling these truths to Sonata and Phoenix beforehand. Thankfully, Phoenix was able to talk some sense into her by bringing up that Bonds of Justice moment they shared together, talking about trusting attorneys with the truth, and that really seemed to hit a chord with her. Maybe she's finally realizing how important it is to believe in Sonata leading the defense, even if she had a reasonable excuse for not wanting to declare she had what could be considered a motive for wrongdoing. Still, knowing how harsh Luna was during interrogation is disconcerting. She's letting the previous trial cloud her judgment and make her more irrational and aggressive. We still don't know why Rainbow was swapping out those juice boxes, or where the one she swapped out went, but hopefully it won't be long before we learn that. I can't help but theorize, however. If Rainbow thought Stream Line was a cheater, did she think she was putting some illegal performance enhancer in those juice boxes? Was Stream Line going through withdrawal from having her 'personal' juice taken away?... Phoenix made an excellent point before they went back inside the courtroom: Rainbow still has difficulty trusting Sonata, so Sonata needs to demonstrate why she should be trusted, by showing she actually cares about Rainbow's innocence and wellbeing. Rainbow prefers action over words, so Sonata needs to give her visual proof of her belief in her innocence. Mia's taught you well, Phoenix. With Pinkie officially taking the stand as a witness, I had a feeling this would be a more chaotic episode, and that Pinkie would be a difficult witness to work with. My immediate impression in knowing she’d take the stand was of Moe the Clown in Turnabout Big Top, who was equally difficult to cross-examine due to his trying to inject his livelihood into his testimony and Phoenix getting penalized if he pressed the wrong statements. Just going by the thumbnail, I felt sure Luna wishes such an unpredictable pony who has difficulty taking things seriously wasn't such an important witness, especially when she's trying to pick herself back up from the last trial, but what can she do at this point? Just the fact that she got sidetracked on the way to the courtroom is very like her. Besides, with how things are going, we could use some levity, and it was sweet how genuinely happy Rainbow was to have a friend like her there. But I was not at all expecting how this actually went. Putting aside the genius Shrek reference with the ‘juice box mare’, Pinkie’s cross-examination has pretty firmly established that Rainbow was ordering large quantities of those juice boxes, and that Pinkie was sure she saw a pony with a rainbow mane when the tornado was set loose. That’s not even getting into Luna’s behavior, getting increasingly personal and insulting as she tears into both Pinkie and Rainbow, driving Pinkie Pie of all ponies to actually argue with one of her kingdom’s princesses. Not that she’s wrong in how Luna has no reason to behave this way, but running her mouth off like that was a surefire way of getting her kicked out of the courtroom… And then we see Sonata putting Phoenix’s words into practice by allowing Rainbow to testify for herself, but it’s still worrisome that she’s still being vague about certain things and wanting to plead silence. But that was a first: the prosecution interrupting the cross-examination before it even started to further her overbearing discourse. While she’s not wrong that the less-than-scrupulous actions of a Wonderbolt, even a reservist, reflects badly on the image of the Wonderbolts themselves, and that, if Rainbow is guilty, she’s betraying the Element of Loyalty she represents, especially since she’s already hiding so much, her charged language was incredibly uncalled for. Not just that, but she managed to provoke Rainbow into saying something incredibly damning: that Stream Line deserved what happened to her, and she would not be sorry to see it happen to her again. Oh, Rainbow… Things are looking pretty bleak, though it’s good to see His Honor hold Luna accountable for her attitude, saying that she’ll be penalized for ignoring his warning. If Luna wanted to salvage her reputation after the last trial, this was not the way to do it. What’s gotten into you, Your Dreamness?... But thank God Sonata had a brain wave before a verdict could be handed down. Luna thinks they have everything they need to definitively declare Rainbow guilty, but they don’t. The toxicology report hasn’t stated beyond doubt that Stream Line was poisoned, and her delirious state before collapse wasn’t a symptom of Grickle Grass poisoning, meaning there’s more to uncover. There’s also the matter of what she was murmuring to herself. Was she really naming Estella Pantomimia, and if so, why?... In any event, the court is placed in a unique position, at least in Phoenix and His Honor’s cases: a ‘victim’ who’s still alive and can give testimony once they’ve recovered. It was a skin-of-the-teeth save, but Sonata’s managed to buy them some time, and she’s hopefully encouraged Rainbow to trust her better. That post-credits scene, though…Estella…the mirror pool…that projector…What the hell was going on with the Pantomimia sisters?...
Apt observations; solid summaries and commentary on your part! Really love how this game manages to stoke our Ace Attorney cravings/itches in ways that feel both nostalgically familiar and intriguingly novel!
Pinkie can take things seriously when she has to. Especially during Luna accusing Rd. Granted she is a pony being fuled by her emotions and night princess isn't, its still reckless regardless. I don't blame Pinkie for exploding like that, there a difference between being firm and ruthless. Neither of them deserved that kind of slander 😤!
@@chloenieuwsma4846 Oh, no question. Pinkie often has difficulty reading the room or understanding how what she says or does affects others, but threaten, hurt, or insult somepony near and dear to her, and she will stand by to defend them wholeheartedly, even against a princess and prosecutor like Luna. I certainly hope Luna will have had time to think about how she’s been behaving after all this.
Not the first time Rainbow Dash has withheld from telling the truth, she did the same thing back in Turnabout Storm, she wouldn't reveal to Phoenix why she was in the Everfree Forest the night Ace Swift was murdered, all because she was worried about her precious pride & ego getting hurt from people seeing those pictures, and now she's withholding the truth AGAIN!? And she had the NERVE to try and call out Sweetie Belle for lying & refusing to reveal what happened in the Everfree Forest the night Royal Order was killed.
@jonathansands7873 I agree with all of you if she just put everything away this whole mess would've been over and Luna should've shut up and let the defense do their job.
And Luna abruptly shutting down this chapter’s final cross examination with her tirade reminded me of Manfred Von Karma’s absurd “I demand this trial be concluded within three minutes” request during Turnabout Goodbyes.
@@JCG0609 We’ll get enough Franziska von Karma-inspired antics from Trixie alone, I suspect. As for Manfred von Karma, the merciless/cynical Equity will be a natural choice for embodying that prosecutor archetype in Case 4 or 5.
1:18:20 Hold up they are not telling us what they am thinking they are telling here right? That the Stella Sisters were not actually Sisters but rather one was a Mirror Pool Clone?...This might have some twisted revelations. Then again, I might be wrong here.
Now THIS was a great episode. Absolutely solved all my concerns during the last one. May I say, the VAs, especially Pinkie's, are absolutely knocking it out of the park. Fantastic work.
That she did, but Luna had to go and ruin that, and what she said to Pinkie was just completely uncalled for, so proud of Pinkie for putting Luna in her place the way she did.
How was Luna not immediately put in contempt and stripped of her legal ability to show up in court? Her behaviour was disgraceful. Sonata needn’t have worried so much if she started discrediting her authority. Thank goodness the judge had enough. Like Luna criticising how Rainbow is dishonouring the honour of the Wonderbolts legacy- as if that should have any bearing on her innocence? Great episode though! Loved the juice box mare. ❤️
@@nameynamd9212 Luna went too far... but Dashie and Pinkie were being incredibly disruptive. Pinkie by verbally assaulting the prosecutor, who at that point, was only doing her job. And Dashie was, as is obvious, LYING to the courtroom and withholding details, and with Luna already on the verge of losing her temper, that was the WRONG MOVE. I honestly think Luna shouldn't be penalised, but more given a formal warning not to let her emotions run away again...
my theory on the collapse of stream line is that of withdrawal by not drinking the juice boxes that rainbow been switching out on her. the symptoms can be do to a drug she was using in the juice boxes that rainbow switch out with the ones pinky was giving her. rainbow got close to stream line in order to this. whats the best way to get into someone locker is by being close to them. rainbow started to drink the same juice as stream line to show everyone that she was in fact cheating. and thats my Theory on this.
I’m getting the feeling that the “competitive steroids, lol” is a compelling red herring. Sure, Stream Line definitely exhibited tangible speed boosts rivaling Rainbow’s speed, but why are we assuming that competitive glory is all that Stream Line (if that even is her real identity) truly cares about? Sonata linking Stream Line to Stella opens up the possibility (in my opinion), that Stream Line is actually a disguised Stella/Espie, taking shapeshifting drugs to avoid responsibility as the true culprit of the murder that Overall was originally accused of. Being a faster flier may be useful for Stream Line’s day job in her new identity, but it is perhaps an incidental bonus compared to what she truly wants (to remain undiscovered/unexposed).
I have a theory as to why Rainbow Dash was acting so irrationally. There's a high possibility Stream Line was doping, Rainbow Dash actually didn't know this but figured she was cheating somehow, so she decides to get close to her to keep an eye on her and see what she was up too. Stream Line seemed clean at first until one day Rainbow Dash drinks one of her juice boxes, she realizes how much better she performed and puts two and two together. Rainbow Dash feels betrayed by this, not only to herself but also to the Wonderbolts as a whole. However if Rainbow Dash blows the whistle Stream Line will be banned from the Academy for certain. Rainbow Dash probably saw Stream Line as a friend at one point and couldn't bring herself to do it or at least doesn't want to take it that far. When RD confronts SL of this SL threatens to drag RD down with her if she gets banned from the academy realizing RD drank one of her juice boxes. RD now takes matters into her own hooves and starts replacing the Juice Boxes, not realizing how bad the withdrawals would be. Angry at Stream Line's betrayal of her trust. Being put on Trail again. Your Defense attorney is someone who tried to blackmail you then frame you for murder. You're probably suffering from symptoms caused by the drug, one of them most likely increase aggression. And to top it all off a PRINCESS starts dragging your whole reputation through the mud in front of everyone. Yeah I can see why RD hasn't been the most helpful she's having a hell of a day and likely suffering from early symptoms of the drug Stream Line has been using.
And also, Dashie IS guilty if that is what happened. She caused the breakdown through withdrawal symptoms, and any court worth its salt would declare her *G U I L T Y* at that point.
stuff that i think: stream line had some connection to stella and thought overall concept killed stella. the pegasus seen at the end of the outro could be stream line so she killed overall as revenge but still feels bad and why she apparently said 'stella so sorry'. COULD BE TOTALLY WRONG but thats what i think
When Luna compared Rainbow Dash to a 'heinous killer', I wish Rainbow Dash had thrown a mention of Nightmare Moon back in her face "I suppose if anyone knows what a 'heinous killer' should be, it'd be Nightmare Moon herself, right PRINCESS?"
That might have crossed a line. Did Luna ever kill anypony as Nightmare moon? Only thing I can think of was Spike and a Timberwolf but that was a alternate timeline.
It hasn't been that long since being freed from Nightmare Moon, makes sense she wouldn't have a way to break the habit quite yet(kind of feels like a parallel to Edgeworth in some ways)
@@chloenieuwsma4846 - As far as we know she didn't kill anyone, but she certainly had intent to kill, she didn't care if eternal darkness meant crops would die, which in turn COULD have led to some potential deaths from starvation.
So you mean to tell me that throughout that whole conversation in the beginning, not one of them bothered to ask why she swapped the juice boxes in the first place? You only did that just for the sake of them needing to figure it out during the trial, didn’t you?
@@topnotchshinobiThey definitely could’ve handled it better. After Rainbow confirmed to them that she swapped the juice boxes they just left that train of thought without pressing any further. Which doesn’t make any sense. At the very least, they could have had them ask that question, and just have Rainbow not answer them.
@@thelonemask Very apt observations I can agree with. Anyways, so glad that Sonata is taking the case in a more intriguing direction with the Stella angle; hopefully, this gives reason to eventually merge the defense teams (Sonata, Apollo, and co-counsels) by the time we reach Case 3 trial’s final allowable day.
Wow, that was a close one. Rainbow Dash almost got the guilty verdict, but at least Sonata & Phoenix gave her another day, poor Pinkie Pie, she must be really worried about Rainbow, looks like they’re going to get some questions from Spitfire & maybe I might be able to see Spike’s image after Spitfire. Right now something bugs me about why Overall was accused for the crime he didn’t commit, I have no idea he can be so shocked.🐉❤️🔥🤔🔎
Why is everyone surprised with pinkie being the witness? During the investigation, Rainbow tried hiding the fact she was the witness when Sonata was pressing her on it.
This is funny, with every people calling out Luna for being a ruthless prosecutor... And I thought when I saw her for the first time in the previous trial that it would be her normal behaviour 😅
It is hard to see how princess Luna gets so bit out of shape on this trial. She even scared me. But I can't wait till the next segment of this story. Great work all of you for making this story!👍
With the victim still being alive, it’ll be a matter of time to find out what really caused her hallucination and I see someone killed Stella then presumably finished off Overall which explains why Rarity is put on trial for Overall’s death
Whatever happened to Stella is likely why Overall Concept is dead. Overall Concept was obviously found innocent of killing Stella, and someone killed Overall Concept was killed to avenge her. However I have this feeling that Overall Concept was not the intended target, I think Coco Pommel was supposed to be killed that night, but something went really wrong. My theory is that when Overall walked into the other room while Coco went to wash her hooves and just as Suri entered the dressing room. I think the culprit hit Overall Concept with a rage-enduced spell or powder that forces them to attack the first person they see, which accidently happened to be Suri Polomare, and whoever the culprit was had Overall Concept hanged instead of the original plan... have Overall Concept kill the love of his life; Coco Pommel.
I ALWAYS get a joy out of seeing Pinkie Pie! I LOVE this sweet pony so much. And seeing her get so sad and angry REALLY hits you deep when you both know and care about her. Good LORD, Luna was a BEAST today! I think she took Celestia's advice the wrong way. Instead of using her experience from Turning Page's trial to better herself, she's pushing herself to be as assertive as possible. But this assertiveness is causing her to act like an angry bully, and anger is all but certain to cloud your mind and make you behave recklessly. And being reckless is something neither a defense attorney nor a prosecutor can risk being while in court. I have a bad feeling the penalty Luna will receive will only cause her further emotional turmoil and may even exasperate her image and that of the Equestrian royalty. So much for the "perfect system" Fated Pursuit mentioned, and, as such, it also brings up the quote mentioned by Suri in Case 1-3: "So, this is how far the Equestrian royalty have fallen, huh?" And the Mirror Pool. . . . It was used after all. But by who . . . and when?
My theory is that Stream Line killed Overall Concept and tried to kill Cruise Control with a tornado. It may not be revealed in this episode, but I am putting it out now.
@@caltoonfangirl7109That is my guess now that with what Sonata found out and the dark silhouette of a Pegasus pony in the end credits, it's the only possible way to explain it now.
This part was a heat wave of events! Both sides at each other’s throats, spitting all sorts of emotions, slanders, and mistrust. All of that was enough to fill a pond! I’m glad that the defense is still hanging on, just barely.😅 Aside from the “Courtroom Chaos,” I liked some of the jokes that were shown, like the “Juice Mare” gag for example; that was a nice reference. Excellent work on this episode guys, this one was pretty wild!😄
@@SpacialRend7 Just barely? Sonata has all the leverage in this case! Luna is the one hanging by a thread. She has presented zero evidence that grickle grass was at play, actually there’s not one but two pieces of evidence that prove grickle grass isn’t the cause. But no Luna just wants to dismiss them as mistakes. Sonata is the one on top right now, she has the negative test and the mismatched hallucination on her side, and Luna has nothing. Just a motive, which means nothing if you can’t even prove that poison was even used at all. And to top it all off Luna is in trouble with multiple warnings of badgering and disrupted the cross examination. Luna has basically just flushed all her credibility as a prosecutor down the toilet.
I don’t know about involved but she definitely might know something, the sounds in the post credits scene definitely implied whoever it was could fly. My guess is Stream Line found Stella after she was attacked but instead of asking Stream Line to help her she asked her to check on Espie
I think this is my favorite episode so far. I loved the tension. How Luna cleverly, but underhandedly got Rainbow to incriminate herself and how Sonata smartly got out of it. And to see the mirror poor, which was a Chekov's gun turned into a red herring turned back into a Chekov's gun is very interesting. Absolutely brilliant work!
Luna is clearly out of line with all this. She isn't supposed to take things in her hands and kept attacking all the witnesses. She should have been thrown out of the court room.
Ok, I'm just gonna put out a theory out there. Did Stella clone herself to make Espie/vice versa? Because from that dialog and imagery, that's what I'm getting from this. Could be entirely off the mark though. Thank you for your hard work EOJ team!
Finally up to episode 5, so a few predictions for before we see the episode. I had heard it suggested that performance enhancers may have played a role, but I think it's looking increasingly likely that Streamline did indeed suffer from the symptoms of withdrawal. I cannot rule out my earlier theory of a panic attack, though it now seems less necessary to explain the symptoms. As for how Stella went from murdered to missing, that I have even less of a clue about than before. Hopefully more information will explain that in the future, but my best guesses are that either the body they thought was Stella was actually a fake, clone or doppelganger or said body disappeared. Slightly more out-there, it could be the trial and murder were both hushed-up but I don't think that's any more likely. (Ironically, in this case the clone theory might make a bit more sense since we know at least one of the Pantomimia sisters visited the mirror pool, so she could have actually faked her own death) Either way, can't wait to see what happens next ^^ [Edit:] Well, they're teasing the withdrawal explanation. Definitely didn't expect the direct connection to Estella. Speaking of which, I stand corrected. It looks like the authorities really did hush-up the death of Estella at some point since she did genuinely die in that alleyway. Or the body disappeared, that's still a possibility. Regardless, we know the connection to the mirror pool was purely due to her creating a twin sister out of a clone. Thus it's probably not relevant to the previous mystery. But who was she talking to before she died? And, if she really was dead before Overall found her, who screamed? (Or was that transpositional error actually the other way around?)
Actually the trial and murder being hushed-up, as you put it, has been hinted at. If you go back and watch the parts of the trial we’ve seen so far you can see that the only ones there are the defendant (Overall), prosecution (Trixie), defense (Sonata), and Judge (Celestia) with the gallery completely empty. Nopony was watching the trial which suggests that the incident was not public knowledge.
@@flainfan Fair point ^^ I would still be very much surprised if the murder was still hushed up even after the trial and investigation had concluded. Not sure what circumstances would lead to that. Though strange secrets seem to be the backbone of EoJ, so it probably shouldn't be too surprising.
First off. Luna, you just ruined yourself. Second, i have a feeling that the Streamline has something to do with both cases, but i digress. Third. That post credit scene . . . WHAT WAS EVEN HAPPENING?!
Seriously, just get Luna out of this court room. She has been warned time after time to not antagonize the defendant and witnesses and even interrupted Sonata’s cross examination of Rainbowdash’s testimony. Why Luna is allowed to continue as prosecution in her clearly emotional state is beyond me. She also has presented absolutely nothing of value to this entire trial. The autopsy tested negative for grickle grass, oh it was clearly a testing error. The victim is having halucinations which isn’t a matching symptom, oh it must be a rare strand of grickle grass. Any time she’s presented with evidence against her she always passes it as an error. Luna is never wrong, the evidence is. Any other prosector would rework their stories to fit the evidence. Luna reworks the evidence to fit her story. The most she did is present a motive, but motive does not equal guilt, evidence does, on which she has nothing.
Interrupting is one thing, but don't forget, Luna's not been acting much like a prosecutor in the Crusading for a Turnabout, and now syhe's acting too far the other way. Plus... there is the fact that Dashie was outright LYING to the court there, and likely had been lying to Luna as well. She was definitely out of line, but she's not used to ponies being so defiant to her.
Not to mention, that "motive" only came about because Luna riled up Rainbow Dash enough to make her say something in the heat of the moment. Something which Rainbow Dash almost immediately regretted, but she got no chance to explain herself afterwards because, again, her words became a motive. I do wonder if Luna was purposefully riling up the witnesses to get them to talk/keep them talking and just took it too far. Either way this extreme anger seems really out of character for Luna and hopefully we'll get to find out what's causing it in the next episode (or a future episode at least).

I cannot state how enthralled I am by this case. It's got me hooked like nothing else before it. Sonata's unique spin on working the defense, Luna's aggressive turn, and Pinkie's uh... "being Pinkie" are all executed so perfectly. Y'all are doing amazing work here. Also, is that the first "damn" that's been dropped in the series at 39:05? I dig it.
Tell me about it! And Luna came across as very von Karma-like! (with refusing to allow Sonata to conduct a proper cross examination at the end of the chapter, by preempting Sonata and Rainbow with an angry tirade)
@topnotchshinobi right? Man, Luna was like, a she devil in the last chapter. If I were the judge, I would have called her out on her anger and cutting off the defense and had her replaced with someone more qualified for the role.

Pinkie: Does exactly that.
Me: ...Okay animators, color me impressed.
Your theory is looking increasingly more likely ^^
I do hope you caught wind of the other recent theories about Stream Line being an alias of Stella/Epsie! (and that the withdrawal symptoms primarily related to appearance changing drugs, not necessarily performance boosters)
Yeah it's definitely possible that you could be right about this.
@@topnotchshinobicould Stream Line possibly be Lightning Dust in disguise? Do you think Lightning Dust could have a history with the twins? If so, it would be quite interesting

This juice mare thing was something I was never able to get out of my head. I feel like Pinkie’s juice mare thing isn’t some running gag. I feel the juice mare is an important piece to the puzzle
Watching this, it brought me back to the episode “Fame and Misfortune”, specially the song “Flawless” with Pinkie’s solo lyrics “Ponies think I'm all bubbles and laughter
That I don't seem sincere
I might joke around a little too much
But I'm just so happy you're here”
Those lines and Pinkie’s appearance on this episode both share common grounds of a problem Pinkie faces.

What if her clone actually killed her?
Given what we’ve seen (and not seen) so far, my theory is that her sister IS the clone.
@@Mihoshi009 You mean Espie? If that were the case, then why did Estella say to "check on Espie" if she was talking to Espie? No, my suspects for Estella's murder right now are Amber Gleam, Stream Line, or Cruise Control.

Honesty Rainbow is digging her own grave. It’d be a miracle if Sonata got Rainbow a not guilty verdict
@@topnotchshinobi Oh 100%. Luna holds a LOT of self loathing in her heart.
@@topnotchshinobi That much I can agree on.
Prosecutor Luna isn’t gonna like that, back to the clones
Also yeah, seeing as in the outro, both estella and espie are represented by the same cutie mark, but a good part of espie’s body is hidden, so we cannot see wing nor cutie mark on espie.
But Estella's final words conflict with the possibility that Espie killed her.
@racquelillustrates1792 Twilight really needs to seal that mirror pool or better yet plug it up with something super heavy or put a barrier around it so no one could use it for dumb reasons cause that pool is to dangerous.
Man Luna did deserve that call out, hope she finally realizes how wrong she was and admits she was out of line.

I think it was out of character for rainbow to say streamline deserved to almost die. That was terrible

I still stand by my withdrawal hypothesis from the last video.

Honestly I’m way more frustrated with Luna. Clients having secrets is common place. But Luna was way beyond unprofessional through and through.

Rainbow Dash not shutting the hell up was crazy, almost got me thinking the trial was actually over!
Keep in mind, doing that is honestly grounds for contempt of court. Being ejected and having her testimony struck from the record is pretty merciful

Wait… is Stream Line….Espie? Probably a stretch… also seems like the mirror pool is coming back.
Edit: One more thing…. YES FINALLY the judge did his job properly for a good bit of this video.
Begun (again), the Clone Wars have!
Can't wait for Pinkie to drive Luna insane.
There's more...
Does this mean that Estella had a different killer on the night of her death and that Espie is something else entirely!?!?
I believe this to be the case, and Espie believes Overall Concept killed her, beyond upset that Overall Concept was found innocent, this led to Espie plotting to get revenge, personally I don't think whoever killed Overall Concept actually planned to kill him, but rather Coco Pommel, but something went really wrong. Think about it, if Espie believes Overall Concept killed Stella, then she likely wanted to kill Coco to make Overall Concept feel exactly how she felt.

@@sonicgen20 She's going down a dark path. A very dark one. If she doesn't get her shit together, she's going to end up in a similar situation Edgeworth once was: Only obsessed in guilty verdicts at the sake of innocent people and becoming the Manfred von Karma of her universe. And that man was evil incarnate
@@sonicgen20 She could be a Changeling. It would makes sense with Pinkie's testimony of a Pegasus with Rainbow-Colored hair starting the tornado when the rest of the Wonderbolts were practicing. All of this trial could very well be a ruse to sink Luna's reputation.
@@eduardomunoz4387 My theory is that the real culprit is Streamline herself in a rainbow wig. Note Pinkie specifically said a pony with a rainbow mane, not some pony who looks like Rainbowdash, so the culprit could have had a different fur color.
@@sonicgen20 I think Pinkie might genuin4ely just be lying about the tornado to try to get Dashie out of trouble. (Possibly the real culprit trying to trick Pinkie into making things worse??) Because the entire tornado thing is such an obvious red herring...
With the cliffhanger the last one ended on, I’ve been eager to see how this case would go, even if it meant likely going from bad to worse at the outset. As usual, spoilers below, lol
As we wait for the trial to readjourn, we now have a slightly clearer picture of the previous Lawkeeper, the one who helped Sonata with her law career, and Equity's predecessor: Atticus.
Not that she’s wrong in how Luna has no reason to behave this way, but running her mouth off like that was a surefire way of getting her kicked out of the courtroom…
And then we see Sonata putting Phoenix’s words into practice by allowing Rainbow to testify for herself, but it’s still worrisome that she’s still being vague about certain things and wanting to plead silence. Oh, Rainbow…
Things are looking pretty bleak, though it’s good to see His Honor hold Luna accountable for her attitude, saying that she’ll be penalized for ignoring his warning.
Beautiful observations and excellently written comments. It's very fun to read.
Rainbow dash was absolutely useless. She could have just told the truth, but nope she has to hide more things
How was Luna not immediately put in contempt and stripped of her legal ability to show up in court? Her behaviour was disgraceful. Sonata needn’t have worried so much if she started discrediting her authority. Thank goodness the judge had enough.
Like Luna criticising how Rainbow is dishonouring the honour of the Wonderbolts legacy- as if that should have any bearing on her innocence?

my theory on the collapse of stream line is that of withdrawal by not drinking the juice boxes that rainbow been switching out on her. the symptoms can be do to a drug she was using in the juice boxes that rainbow switch out with the ones pinky was giving her. rainbow got close to stream line in order to this. whats the best way to get into someone locker is by being close to them. rainbow started to drink the same juice as stream line to show everyone that she was in fact cheating. and thats my Theory on this.
That's actually a very solid theory, I could definitely see this being the case.
I also had a withdrawal theory as well
Do you know the Juice Box Mare?
God they clearly had fun with that Shrek reference. XD
Yes the one who lives on Brewey Lane?
Well there married to the juice box mare.
Dam that's a genius explanation for everything
And also, Dashie IS guilty if that is what happened. She caused the breakdown through withdrawal symptoms, and any court worth its salt would declare her *G U I L T Y* at that point.
That judge deserves a good Luau after this
stuff that i think:
stream line had some connection to stella and thought overall concept killed stella. the pegasus seen at the end of the outro could be stream line so she killed overall as revenge but still feels bad and why she apparently said 'stella so sorry'. COULD BE TOTALLY WRONG but thats what i think
Man, by the current attitude Luna has, I cannot help but agree what Equity had said, "there still has some Nightmare Moon inside of her."
When Luna compared Rainbow Dash to a 'heinous killer', I wish Rainbow Dash had thrown a mention of Nightmare Moon back in her face
"I suppose if anyone knows what a 'heinous killer' should be, it'd be Nightmare Moon herself, right PRINCESS?"
Drama requires that certain characters act as stupid or smart as they need to keep the plot stalled or advanced as needed.

Right now something bugs me about why Overall was accused for the crime he didn’t commit, I have no idea he can be so shocked.🐉❤️🔥🤔🔎
Really loving the serialized nature of this game! (compared to the average, ocassionally filler-ish episodic Ace Attorney case)
I’m starting to have a feeling that after this, Luna’s gonna have karma soon.
She loses her job
Why is everyone surprised with pinkie being the witness? During the investigation, Rainbow tried hiding the fact she was the witness when Sonata was pressing her on it.
I was more surprised that Pinkie even arrived at the courthouse. In the last cases, she usually overslept.
This is funny, with every people calling out Luna for being a ruthless prosecutor... And I thought when I saw her for the first time in the previous trial that it would be her normal behaviour 😅
Fo real. Did they forget luna has a bit of a temper? Luna doesn't stand for BS or anything kind of foolish. She just wants to stick with the point 😅
@@JP_Loco_93But leads to how Rarity is involved as she is being accused of killing Overall Concept
So much for the "perfect system" Fated Pursuit mentioned, and, as such, it also brings up the quote mentioned by Suri in Case 1-3: "So, this is how far the Equestrian royalty have fallen, huh?"
And the Mirror Pool. . . . It was used after all. But by who . . . and when?
My theory is that Stream Line killed Overall Concept and tried to kill Cruise Control with a tornado. It may not be revealed in this episode, but I am putting it out now.

I kinda want to see Pinkie confront Luna outside the courtroom and tell her to her face out of anger that she hates her. It'd make for good drama.
(Ironically, in this case the clone theory might make a bit more sense since we know at least one of the Pantomimia sisters visited the mirror pool, so she could have actually faked her own death)
Either way, can't wait to see what happens next ^^
[Edit:]
Well, they're teasing the withdrawal explanation.
What's up with the "*" after the word "clone?"
@@OzzyNe0nSorry, I thought that was something you did to direct to further notes. I'll get rid of it.

Yeah, this trial may have worked better if the judge was someone related to her. As it is, Rainbow would've been free 5 times already
