    Do you use rice vinegar in this recipe?

    • @goodwithrice3932
      @goodwithrice3932  3 года назад +3

      Yeah, we used rice vinegar.
      You can make with white vinegar but you should reduce the amount.
      White vinegar is more sour than rice vinegar.

    What is that container called that you used for the pickles?

    • @goodwithrice3932
      @goodwithrice3932  2 года назад

      It's a japanese pickles maker called Tsukemono Meijin.
      You can use plastic press container instead of it :)
      This is Amazon's URL about plastic press container.

    How do you prepare the shiso if you didn’t buy it from the store?

    • @goodwithrice3932
      @goodwithrice3932  3 года назад +1

      Thank you for your comment :) If you can't get momishiso, try to do this way!
      1. Wash the red shiso leaves well and rub with 1 tablespoon of salt.
      2. Squeeze out and discard the dark purple juice.
      3. Do this twice.

      What if we don't have shiso? Is there a replacement?

      @@goodwithrice3932 will green shiso work and give the same flavor without the color?
