I remember at 17 feeling like I was a good judge of character and thought I was mature(was for my age but...) so glad this girl got away from him safely. Her poor parents. I must have missed how long John and Cati dated before they got married. I was surprised to hear they'd been married less than a year when he killed her. Our family theme is date for four yrs before marrying, that way you see the person in almost everything life can throw at you, or at least are familiar with their processing in bad times. I hurt for Cati's poor mom. No matter how old they get they always feel like your baby. What a horrendous thing to go through. I've been through a family murder but thank God not one of my children. Sovery sad.

I think the side piece was involved.
This is a smart person with excessive training in tactics. He must have emptied his bank account prior to that, and taken all the cash money with him, no way to record transactions if you pay in cash. All Latin American countries down there are corrupt, cash fixes all issues with missing documentation. They can even register him with a different name and give him a birth certificate as if he was born there with a completely different name, DOB. He might be living in one of those countries right now, and I can tell you it is really difficult to track him down once he crosses the border out of the US. I feel bad for the family of the victims, and I'm glad the 17 year old got back home safely. I do believe this man kept a lot of info away from Hanna. She might know a thing or two that she might have heard or believed, but I bet she knows nothing about the killing. I hope I'm wrong and that this man is caught here in the U.S. The victim's families deserve answers from him and he deserves to face justice!
