My husband is a building inspector and electrician and he is the king of the fish tape. 😂 I have had him add wires everywhere over the years. He has a cool tool he likes called a glow stick that he uses as a fish tape. It is fiberglass rods you screw together that glow in the dark. It makes getting a wire down inside a wall easier. He says it is all about having the right tools.

I like watching you my wife and I went through the same thing on a double-wide when a water line broke in the bathroom when we were gone on vacation. Come home and everything was ruined on floors. This back in 1980 we are now both retired and this brought back memories that we enjoyed.

Unbelievable that they thought pressed board (MDF) would be strong enough to last. Or maybe they didn't; repeat customers that way. (BTW the person that lived in our house used it in our bathroom floor.) Another tip is to tape the 2nd wire to the first about a foot down and pull them both through at once.

Just cover the hole with a few popsicle sticks and can use a popsicle stick to push the wire out of the way 😆😆😆. I’m still on the popsicle stick thing from yesterday. Sorry to leave comment later in day. I was still measuring the perimeter of my property with those popsicle sticks. I didn’t have enough so I went to store to buy a bunch of popsicles to eat so I can finish measuring lol jk 🤦🏽♂️brain freeze 🙄🙄🙄
