Friendly reminder that everything thats happened to Mark between season 1 and season 2 all happened in LESS THAN A YEAR
it's actually only 2 years, they are last years already on the first Ep.
@euqinemor I meant canonically speaking. In the beginning of season 2 they said the incident that took place in the season 1 finale happened "only a month ago"
@@samuraishamploo3343in another episode they say that the guardians died like 8 months ago or something like that
@@samuraishamploo3343yea but later when Donald confronts Cecil he says “when Omni Man went bad last year” so more time definitely passed. I’m pretty sure close to another year passed cause by episode 5, 4 months have already passed
@@Spidercake54 they say mark spent a little over 2 months on Thraxa
"I just want Mark to have some peace." Robert Kirkman: "Yeah nah" 🤣
Other Debbie's joining viltrum made sense to why other mark's are so evil 🤷♂️
But why did Debbie join Nolan?
@@UncleForHire It's parallel universes, it's not the same Debbie or Mark.
@@nihlify Debbie is still human in the other dimensions though, i have no idea what insane logic Nolan used to win her over with so she'd be okay with Mark and Him slaughtering her kind.
@@UncleForHireidk I see it working. In the other universes I imagine Omni man spilling the beans as soon as or as close to when he arrived. Debbie would know from day 1 his plans and wouldn’t feel lied to or betrayed. Mark would grow up accepting the reality that Viltrum will take over Earth.
@@haha-lj5sq I suppose that kind of makes sense, maybe Nolan even promised he'd do his best to avoid deaths and it is the best way.
MELON: “Nobody died in that episode.”
LIZARD LEAGUE: “Excuse me?”

FUN FACT: I'm here again to say, that in the invincible comics, that actually is Spider-Man.
Why couldnt they have spiderman in the show too? Copyright? Or why?
@@lucasankar9544 Blame current Marvel, or Sony I don't know anymore... 😒
Irk he literally meets with marvel Spiderman we all know it's Peter Parker.
@@DoomBowser64 Disney would've asked for a mint to use him
@@lucasankar9544yes copyright. Marvel comics is a lot easier to work with than Disney/Sony
10:50 Fun Fact: The creator of Invincible also created The Walking Dead.
6:15 I cannot tell you how happy I was to hear Josh Keaton. Little context, Josh Keaton was the voice of Spider-Man in the fantastic The Spectacular Spider-Man (2008-2009) Animated Series that's often credited as not only being one of the best Spider-Man show but Animated shows in general. If you grew up in the 2000s then Josh Keaton was most likely the voice of Spider-Man. So when Invincible Season 2 had Josh Keaton as one of the cast members people started to freak out as this storyline in the comics featured Mark being sent into the Marvel universe where he went flying into Doc Ock. You couldn't see Ock's face as he was facing away and Spider-Man's arm was only shown but the designers were spot on for both characters. Mark would later return to his reality with a web attached to his back like you see at 6:59
Marvel then released a tie in comics that showcased what happened in between showing Mark meeting Spider-Man and chatting about both of their powers and holding back, Spider-Man is extremely strong but pulls his punches so he does not kill people. Spider-Man takes Mark to Avengers Tower and then both Spider-Man and Mark go off to fight Doc Ock. In the end the portal opens and Mark says goodbye to Spider-Man but at the last minute Spider-Man thinks "Huh you may need some help" and webs Mark's back to tag along but the portal closes and that's why Mark had the web stuck to his back.
For the show it seems that Sony who own the rights to Spider-Man didn't agree to a cameo so instead of just removing this part of the story they came up with a new character based on Spider-Man called Agent Spider and then had Josh Keaton voice the character. Also the multiverse reference was a nice detail a fun nod to the Spider-Verse films.
We also got a fun Batman cameo as well pulled right out of the same comic. Only difference was the sky in the comic was red and the city in the background looked more like Gotham with an Art Deco meets Gothic design all inspired by the amazing Batman: Animated Series of the 90s. You could also see Batman's arm as well while in the show it's just his cape and the city just looks like a generic background city.
Sony only has movie rights, so if they asked, it was Disney that rejected the cross-over.
@@KthulhuXxx It was revealed that they didn't even get into contact with Marvel so we'll never know. Marvel was not even told about the Agent Spider cameo in the show lol
6:22 The joke being it's a Spider-Man stand-in, voiced by Josh Keaton (from the best adaptation of the character) and he specifically mentions he's had a lot of experience with dimensional portals recently, cause, you know, Spider-Verse.
16:11 He's feeling regret cause he just killed a man. He mocked him saying he's stronger, so he got lost in the moment.
In the comic s spider-man told him not to hit dock Ock too hard you could of killed him and teach him responsible over his powers so it hits harder knowing in the comics invincible lost control and failed to learn that when he tried to killed Armstrong
He's talking about Debbie he knew Andresa was dead at this point.
Sadly Mark is physically and emotionally gonna suffer even more stuff but he gets through it but yes this boy is in for pain, loss, and changing his mora values to see if he can do what he needs to do.
So what if Andressa is dead? You don't stop missing loved ones just because you know they're dead.
@@Tantalus010 he's talking abt debbie. in human time he's been with Andressa for 3 months. for viltrumites thats like a week...
@@Tantalus010Sure he cares about Andresa but it’s clear that relationship didn’t last that long for him to care that much besides he never called Andresa his wife she called him her husband
OMNI MAN: Why did you make me do this?
INVINCIBLE: He made me do it.
The parallels are great. It’s been hard to find good story writing these days.
@@pat7917watch arcane 10/10 I can only find one problem with season 1
I love the recurring Ka-Hor gag cause the first dude got possessed in season 1 but got trapped inside cause Mark and Nolan were flying through the desert, so he died. Then his daughter gets trapped cause Mark flew through the desert AGAIN, so even if he wanted to use their bodies to escape, he can’t. Ka-Hor is a show original character but since the show is still faithful to the comics, they are probably gonna keep doing this gag every season til one episode where he finally comes out and bodies everyone and then Invincible beats him.
DupliKate doesn’t have to retire, she still has her powers.
Her original self, Kate Zero, always stayed out of the action because she was afraid of dying, but Kate Zero can still duplicate herself to creates Kate Ones and Twos and so on.
After dying a couple hundred times you probably do have to retire.
@@fluffernutter6633 Not going to spoil whether she will or won’t, I’m just saying she doesn’t have to.
@@Kade_Kapes I was just being realistic, whether she has to or not it would probably be nice to not die every 5 seconds.
@@fluffernutter6633Agreed… Every 7 seconds is MUCH more reasonable. 🤣
10:03 That moment made Fortnite part of Invincible's story.
Character development > pointless action
Debbie is the real super hero in this episode, Mark only did half the work
Debbie might be the MVP of the season for me. And if someone said she was their favorite character in the entire show, I'd totally understand.
While Debbie is great, Mark stopped the guy bruh. Better yet, killed him. Debbie didn't really distract him nor help his downfall.
@@loco_logic same here, she took a beating from Angstrom and she put him in his place at the villains table
@@idk-ye7ur true but she told Angstrom that Mark isn't the villain in this universe but he didn't believe her
🥴
Its hard to tell, but that gun he hit levy with, it was from fortnite, so he basically sent him into the game 😂
Obviously, Nolan was talking about missing Debbie. But my gripe is that you literally skipped over the Spider-Man, Batman, & Mad Max cameos, so we never got to see you react to some of the parts we all wanted to see the most!!
I think she has it on her Patreon.
if you notice the entire Family of Mark have a right Black eye, except for Oliver
Cause Oliver already has purple eyes.
@@Mordaediltrue
Introducing Agent Spider, a Spider-Man variant. He is voiced by Josh Keaton, the VA of the Spectacular Spider-Man 🕷
10:04 Everyone talking about the spiderman cameo, but Mark smashing Levy with a PNG fortnite gun hit me like a brick.
Is that really what it is? Even pausing on it I can’t tell.
Tbh it looks like a generic sniper you'd find in a million games, sure Fortnite has more interesting weapons. So I'm not surprised so many people missed it when we got a Spider-Man inspired cameo and Batman.
@@depresseddingo7146yes it is, it’s a fortnite bolt action sniper with a camo (not sure what camo)
Mark really ain’t deserve any of this he’s essentially forced to prepare to fight off a blood thirsty warrior empire and is blamed for the sins of his alternate selves. Let alone the fact he’s trying to hold to flawed moral code that’s been instilled in a lot of people which is actually holding him back.
All I’ll say is by 3rd season he will change a lot.
16:46 “why is she not bleeding out” losing blood after a skin cut and loosing blood after muscles tearing apart and being exposed inside out works completely different, since that causes our body to recognize the situation and make exposed parts to coagulate faster helping to minimize the blood loss, anatomy is truly a fascinating thing.
Biology really is so fuckin cool. It's called the coagulation cascade, for anyone interested. Basically there's different enzymes in different layers of your tissue/muscle/bone, and when blood cells come in to contact with those enzymes, it causes a chain reaction that produces progressively more powerful clotting factors.
When Mark said “I thought you were stronger” he meant that he thought Angstrom could take Marks full strength without dying.
Saying Debbie was acting like ChiChi had me dead.
Nolan’s obviously talking about Debbie lol.
Hes talking about himself. He thought he had control over himself but he lost it
@@Inaresco nah i don't think so, angstrom sayin his more stronger because of the doctor. so mark thinks he could take his punch
@@Inarescomark says “he told me he was stronger” when he’s trying to rationalize killing Levy
@@a7x4life6446exactly. He said that to try and rationalize what he did. Not because that’s what he actually meant. He was talking about himself. He literally beat the man’s brains in before stopping. It’s not like he thought “maybe he doesn’t need brains because of his enhancements..” or anything. He just couldn’t stop himself from raging. He thought he was better than that. Hence his struggle with it later in the episode.
@@zimvader25he literally says "I thought he was stronger, he told me he was stronger!" It can have a double meaning when he says "I thought you were stronger." But he is talking about angstrom.
Dude, no way you skipped batman
The desert and mummy scene is just gag about mark making a sand storm whenever flying too low near the sand.. most reactors miss the joke because it's poorly executed.
To think in the comics invincible met the real spider-man. Had a seperate comics what he did in marvel universe hunting down dock Ock. Spider-man easily dodge dock Ock up coming attacks but while invincible gets hit in the face a lot. Was funny that he got pissed and destroy his hands with chops. Fun fact in the comics the web in invincible back is because Spider-Man wanted to help him out but the portal close too soon. He just said that was a risky dmb move he could of been trap there and just said good luck to invincible while he swings away.
I've said it in other reactions to episodes comment section but when Mark is done beating Angstrom and he looks down at his now covered in blood hands with disgust is the same as when Omniman beat Mark within iches of his life and he looked down at his hands in disgust as well
i thought you were stronger has two meanings, that he thought he could fight off his viltrumite urges to kill and that he just thought angstrom was strong enough to take him on
I’m glad they can finally start the real plot now. If you’ve read the books then you know the story is only JUST getting started 😉
Damn no mercy 😂
God I have no sympathy for Angstrom he gets everything he deserves in the end of the series
Lets go 🔥. I saw your video and immediately clicked
I need season three soon. Such a good show. Debbie is an amazing side character I love her. And of course I love Eve
watched the whole reaction i think i was really drunk coz i have never done that before
Two? If you are including Amber, that would be three. Babies always come first.
Just a heads up there a rumors that one of the reasons for the gap in the break was so they could build a backlog that way we won’t be waiting almost a year for season 3
10:41 He threw the knife so Mark would unwillingly fly into another portal.
You look good with wavy hair
Dont be a creep.
@@sarahgabriella84 that isn't creepy
I mean i think omni man knows his thraxan wife is probably already dead so think he means debbie
You don't have to wait on season 3 Invincible comic ended in 2018. that's if you cant wait
Seeing older Rudy in that Robot suit makes me wonder if he will start to develop Rex's powers.
9:34 But Mark can follow them at light speed so what would running away really do?
Every man knows he talks about Debbie when the "I miss my wife" line is said. And every girl I've seen reacting always ask "wich wife?"
To think that this is at most only half of what mark is gonna go through.
The Future Guardians came from 2043, apparently.
The moment I realized that you skipped the part of mark going light speed is pretty disappointing
Mark was talking to himself when he said "I thought you were stronger".
Then whyd he say "he told me he was stronger"?
@@impromxtheus8483 The line, narratively, is meant to have a double meaning. On the surface, Mark was talking to Angstrom, thinking he was strong enough to withstand his attacks. But really, he was talking about himself. He thought he was strong enough to not kill and be like Omni-Man or any of the Viltrumites.
Goten is about to go super Sayan and kill Levy.
14:28
15:15 well damn, Mark snapped like a mf🤣🤣 W vid and reaction 💯
Best lines from Invincible
Season 1: Think Mark Think
Season 2: I thought you were stronger
clearly you forgot episode 5 and 7 of season 1 melon rewatch those please, also agent spider was referencing the recent spiderman movies, also the zombie world was a walking dead reference the creators other series
about how hard to make animation scene, in comics actualy they talking about how hard make comics not animation, so its just adaptation from comics

VA is so good this episode.
I really dislike the shorter seasons streaming shows have. They dont excuse the long gaps between seasons at all. I miss the 20 episode seasons shows used to have. More development of side characters.
Also a lot more filler though and that can reeeeallly drag shows out
There's good and bad about that. Mostly bad imo. Yes there are more episodes but that doesn't mean the story is better, lots of episodes used to be filler because of tv deals and needing to fill time slots. Also means animation quality won't be as good unless they take more time. Also most animated shows have episodes which are 25min or less where invincible has 45+ min episodes.
@@inanimatemist8610I think a 12 episode season would be better.
@@JackAndP think it about minutes, not episodes.
@@akusworld5117 Still works with the current runtime. 40 minutes an episode, but with 12 of them.
1 thousandth like lol
"I thought u were stronger" mark is talking to himself. He thought he was strong enough to control himself
Wrong, Levy powered up and Mark expected to knock him out, not to beat him into a bloody pulp so easily. Hes not used to being like his father. But now he is. He will use that power and rage for good and he needs to learn to understand that.
"I wanted to kill him but I wasn't sure if I could" makes things pretty clear to me. "I thought you were stronger" CAN mean both things to mark, but he meant Angstrom, at least at first.
@@alexanderthealright Mark thinks its morally wrong to kill, which is not true. To protect the good forever, the bad ones need to be gone forever, only him being able to kill can do that. I think he might be going that way eventually.
