If you are an Internationally Qualified Nurse who wishes to practice in New Zealand, you must first apply to The Credentials Verification Service for the Nursing Council of New Zealand (CVS-NCNZ) at CGFNS International, Inc.
It’s a secure and direct method for internationally qualified nurses (except for those licensed in Australia) to have their credentials verified and authenticated.
The process is designed to determine that you are who you say you are and that your education and work experience are true and satisfy the requirements of the NCNZ.
CGFNS International verifies and authenticates your identity documents, academic and professional credentials, and nursing employment. We then prepare a report, which you must review and authorize before we can send it to the NCNZ. Once the NCNZ receives the report, you will then be invited to apply for registration with the NCNZ.
Who is the CVS-NCNZ for?
CVS-NCNZ is required for all nurses educated and licensed outside of New Zealand who wish to apply for registration as a nurse in New Zealand.

Thank you, Ms. V! The CGFNS process for me has been a test of patience. Something I noticed from sharing in the group chat is that CGFNS review of documents they received varies widely from days to weeks, up to more than a month! I'm speaking of experience for March 2021.
For example:
Nurse applicant 1 (currently in NZ) - PRC forwards license registration documents to CGFNS received on Feb 26 - CGFNS notes 'Meets Requirements' on applicant's profile 8 days after delivery, March 9.
Nurse Applicant 2 (currently in Ph) - PRC forwards license registration documents to CGFNS received on Feb 16 - CGFNS notes 'Document Pending Review' on applicant's profile after 2 weeks of receipt, and still on this status as of March 25.
Upon follow up, both applicants received automated responses saying CGFNS reviews submission based on 'chronological date of receipt' but is it really the case? Or could an applicant's present location have a bearing on the review proceedings?

Also experiencing same thing...am from South Africa.... Now am waiting for my report, profile is 100%....i was told report will take another 30days. But d other friend I applied with got hers after 7days....

Struggle is real during this pandemic .Community quarantine is quite a hassle for obtaining my credentials from the school. I am always asking them if they already send it to cgfns but until now they're making an excuse as to why they havent processed my request .

Hi po Ms. V, Ask lang po sana ako ng advice. Last month I received my report but unfortunately mali yung nailagay na start date dun sa isang employment ko, namali ang sulat ng HR kaya ayun nireject ko muna and pinapa correct ko sana hanggang ngayon wala pa silang advise ano dapat kong gawin. Almost 1 month nadin po. I already tried raising tickets sabi nung una need ko magsend ulit ng new form but when I tried to verify if I should use the same form, their reply was diffirent naman po, sabi magsesend daw po sila ammended report but until now wala padin po. Any advice po if ano pa pweding gawin? Thank you.☺️
Ms V ask lang what if naexpire po yun license na naverify ng CGFNS which is included in their generated full report, is it better to reject the report and reverify the renewed license or okay lang po na iapprove yun then forward na sa NCNZ

hi first of all of the videos are really helpful for those who are interested in coming abroad. i have a few doubts, 1. my fiance is planning to apply for NZ registration. until now the cgfns status is showing 100% that means her documents are verified are approved. what is the next procedure ? do we need to do anything or wait for them generate the report and send to us by mail ?

Hello, Ms Veronica. I am new to the channel. its very informative. I have a query. Whether the CGFNS verify the documents from college,nursing Council and employer once they receive all or they begin the verification of each documents as they receive. In my case when I checked they received 3 documents from the nursing Council and not yet started the verification or any indication on the CGFNS portal. Kasi in my case its been 15 days since I have given them an access but still I havent received feedback from them. And Ms. V am I right ba na only passing scores lang ung ibibigay na access to CGFNS? @@Move2AustraliawithVeronica inabot din ako ng 3 months Ms V because of the school. Natagalan irelease ung docs ko because of lock down. Limited lang manpower nila but for other docs na needed for cgfns sakto lang ung released Ms V 🙂🙂

HI, AM A MALE NURSE FROM INDIA. I ACHIEVED REQUIRED OET SCORE WITH CLUBBING 0F 2 ATTEMPTS IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR NZ NURSING COUNCIL . I HEARD FROM SOME OF MY FRIENDS SAYS THAT IT IS QUIET DIFFICULT TO GET CAP ADMISSION IF WE HAVE CLUBBED OET SCORE ,THEY GIVE MORE PREFERENCE FOR SINGLE ATTEMPT SCORE CARD .
