My husband is such a non-believer!! I'd send him to one of these places to spend the night, but guaranteed he'd just sleep and snore through the night!!! Hed probably scare the ghosts 👻
WOW that is so effed up, about MARY, gave her whole teen years away, to take care of everyone else, and at the end she is treated like trash, no wonder she haunts. I feel so bad for her , her story did hurt me.
Mary's story is uncertain. If her mother died from a "mysterious illness", it's possible that Mary poisoned her. Maybe her father knew it and didn't want his own daughter convicted of murder, but punished her by leaving her destitute.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels bad for that poor little miss. Her father was a massive prick! I wonder if she wasn’t actually his since they had so many kids and she was the eldest. I can’t think of any other reason he would single her out like that. Not that it should matter whether she was or not. I would be bloody pissed too!
My dad and I lived in a haunted house when I was about 5. It wasn't scary so much as it was unsettling. I always felt watched. It turns out the house had been built in like 1830-ish and the wife of the original owner had died without having a child and she liked me. She was always around me, protecting me since there was no mom for me there. I described her perfectly to my dad like 15 years later. It was a cool experience.
Yeah I was going to say they just want to talk dead people they have emotions too feelings and love there's all kinds of sorts of dead spirits sounds like you had a great one that watched over you
It reminds me of a story when I was staying in this apartment stuff was happening in there like something was walking around I was not alone not how you see with your eyes but with your mind she was showing me something it was pretty scary because I sleep in the pitch black she was trying to get my attention I did not help her I didn't know how whatever happened to her was very violent the vision she was showing me her face screaming coming out of the bed in real life I've never seen a woman do this the night before I go to work have to be at work at 4 in the morning I love that job she comes into the room glowing like a light full body from head to feet door is shut there is no way something just walked in the room without a sound I come straight out of bed at 3 in the morning look directly at her 3 5 seconds we stared at each other I wish I'd said something to her like if you want you can come sit on the bed anything you have to say to me you can tell me I wish I'd said something to her she really wanted my attention still very happy I did not say something to her
Thank you so much Top Fives for giving me a shout out and showing pieces of my content at the Sallie House! I really appreciate the support and the shared love for the paranormal! This is great for my channel and I am truly blessed to have been a part of this!
@@d.investigations Hi ! What might help is putting a key on a string to be able to take to sprites and have a tape recorder going. Don't ask the questions too fast. For "yes" ask the sprite to move it say to the left, "No' then ask the sprite to move the key to the right. Which way you ask the key to go is up to you. You can ask the sprite if it wants to move it on it's own, like playing with it. Keep the tape recorder going for a time then play it back. While all this is going on take random pictures. If nothing shows up you can always delete, but maybe on some you might want to use your editor and 'play' with some of the pictures as maybe something may have been missed, the pics that look abit odd, or have weird shaddows, with the editor, playing with the lighting might show stuff up. I took my 1st ghost picture when I was ten. You know how kids are, just sometimes taking random shots. I was with my family at the Robert E. Lee home in Arlington. When you're standing outside looking from the house I was on the left side. The picture showed a Union Civil War soldier, you could see the outline of the hat, he was holding a gun, but he was a black figure. I'm 71, on April 1st of this year and still ghost hunt, or my way of thinking, I let them come to me. The lady at one of those palm reading & parnormal events that I was 'dragged to at the time, (wasn't into the ghost hunt 'thing' back then😊) kept stareing at me, then pointed to me. Long story short she'd told me about how I'd had a near death experience. How did she know that ? That because of it alot of ghosts like the colours my body puts off and it draws those ghosts to me. I thought this lady was nuts, but she just staired at a women standing in front of an eleavater. The lady said that her 'colour' was grayish black & that she would be dead soon. Now, I really thought that lady was 'off' but sure enough that woman stepped into the eleavater and a few seconds latter there was a very loud scream, the eleavater (lift) failed, the lady was killed. Ohhhh kayyyy moving on. Wow ! But maybe you're the same way. Maybe sprites like the colours your body puts out. You don't 'have' to have a near death experience for it to happen. I love the very old Concord Point Lighthouse down the road from me and it's Keeper's house. The website won't say anything about being haunted but it sure is. Guess it's bad for tourists and all. Stay safe and I wish you all the best ! If your ever in Maryland maybe we could ghost hunt togather. 🤘👻💖
@@ghostcityshelton9378 that’s very interesting! I’ve seen similar techniques with people ghost hunting and have definitely considered trying that. I will try that for sure! And that’s crazy because I have had a near death experience. Actually when I was born I came out unresponsive and had to be revived basically. So it is definitely interesting to think that somehow having touched death you bring back a part of that with you. I’ve always had abilities to see and communicate with things, my family too but me even more so which is probably due to my near death experience. Thank you for sharing! I love meeting people with similar stories and interests.
We live in a 100 year old house in Texas, built by my husbands grandfather. Although he died over 50 years ago, I've seen him at least 3 times, and our neighbor saw him on the front lawn, greeting him and watching him vanish! People are afraid of our house, but nothing bad ever happened here, and the house was always a place of happy times, so I can't imagine any ghost here wanting to scare anyone. I think they just come and go...there are months when nothing happens, then there will be a lot of activity, but we can never tell what the reason is...maybe some specific anniversary we know nothing about...
@@XzOlliePopzX We did!! I read that carbon monoxide can cause ghostly hallucinations and other weird things. We had a whole new furnace installed too, a few years ago, and have it checked regularly as well.
That is so cool!! I am a firm believer in ghosts and I think they are like people. Some are good, and others are bad. I think it really depends on how they lived their lives when they were here. Thanks for sharing.
That’s so neat. I love when older homes are able to be kept up. I hate to see them torn down. Most older houses have stories about them. Thank you for sharing yours. Where is your house in Texas? I wonder if I have seen it before.
@@bethnovak3970 It's right near Jefferson High school. The neighborhood went up in the 1920s. It isn't a mansion like the houses in Alamo Heights or the houses in King William. The thing I ended up liking about it the most was that we couldn't afford to fix it up when we moved in, and that was 25 years ago, so everything is original, which has come back into fashion. The windows are old hand crank, the phone connections are still set up for dial phones and the floor are all wood. It's really hard to heat and cool because it's so drafty. We still have gas heaters in the bathrooms but the gas company cut off the connections because they cause so much carbon monoxide. Too bad, they were the best heaters! We plan to retire to the beach and a small house, I want to hand this home on to our God daughter, she would be the 4th person in the family to live there!
My parents are divorced and some time before finishing higschool I stayed with my dad. He rented a house outside of the city. I remember it being so creepy and I always felt someone watching me. Especially when dad worked at nights. I remember going into his bedroom .there I felt this energy and eyes on me even more....not long after that when I finished school I went back to my mum. When I talked with dad after all he told me that he moved because he found out that two people killed themselves in that house and owner didn't told him before renting. Those were old people, old woman hanged herself and a man shoot himself. When I asked my dad where in the house he said "my bedroom" ...same bedroom where I felt eyes on me before even knowing what happened there.. I believe that energy of trauma stays and maybe some kind of portal between the world's. I will never forget this dark energy in that house.. and we had a lot of fighting. I remember my dad one night Especially being so crazy and yelling around the house all night .maybe dark spirits were feeding of our energy..and I had in that time really big depression and just this feeling of being lost. Now 3 years later in normal environment I feel how scary and not normal it really was.
Just chant NAMO AMITUOFO when you encounter spirits. They will be saved and you will be protected by unlimited Buddhas. This is vow power from AMITUOFO. Just try.
Only the active presence of God can make the evil spirits go away. If a person baptized by the Holy Ghost of God by Jesus Himself enters a place, those entities will flee immediately. Same when you live in a home fill of prayers, you will experience the warmth and love of God welcoming you
When I was in the navy in the early 80's, I met an old admiral named Turner. He had spent a night in the White House in 1949. He was awakened by the sound of a sick child sobbing. He asked the maid, a young black woman, why nobody was tending to the sick child. The maid called the Head Butler and the Head Butler called the Chief of Staff. He told Turner that there were no sick children or any little children in the White House that night. He told the maid that knew the sound of a sick child when he heard it. She told him that most of the staff had heard it. Pierce and Lincoln had lost children in the WH.
My husband is a non-believer which is annoying because we lived inside a home in Jacksonville Florida that is haunted. It was such an evil house! It was over 100 years old but so gorgeous! I loved it, at first. The second night we were there my 5 year old came to me and said something keeps grabbing my feet, I brushed it off as a bad dream and nothing to worry about. But then my two year old would go upstairs to play in her room and out of no where she would let out a blood curling scream when I would run upstairs to check on them- My TWO year old would be petrified and shaking. I eventually made the upstairs completely off limits. All of my children slept in the room with me and at night time I would turn my tv up super loud to drown out any noises coming from upstairs. I would here walking as if someone or something was pacing the hallway, the door slamming, knocks. It was horrendous. I would sometimes get so afraid and convinced someone has to have broken in that is the only logical explanation. I dialed 911 once to have my house checked and when they answered I said sorry my child was playing with my phone and must have hit the wrong buttons and hung up because I knew there was no way someone could get inside my house and me not hear it and the police would check see no one up there ,see no signs of forced entry, and then think I am completely crazy, which is the last thing I needed at that time. My husband worked night shift at that time so when I explained these things to him he responded with it’s hard for me to believe because I have never seen or heard it and anytime he was home it was totally quiet. I begged him to please believe me I am scared this kids are scared but he still didn’t. I was laying in bed one night and a dark shadow in the figure of a human walked across my dark room I figured it was my husband so I said hey baby. No response, so I sat up and yelled my husbands name, no response. So then I called my husband and he answered I could hear he was driving home and my heart SANK!!! He got home I explained he didn’t believe me of course because he didn’t see it himself he had every reason in the book of what it probably was but I know what I saw. I knew I was leaving the house with or without him when it started to take a toll on my mental health. I’ve never ever ever in my life had suicidal thoughts but one day while in that house i started having them I couldn’t make them stop I had constant panic attacks and the only time I got relief is when I walked outside of that house. I got away from there and still to this day my husband does not believe anything that happened there to be true which is a little upsetting but I know what I felt , what our children felt. It’s evil!
@@SS-lk2ej no young lady..don't go back there.are you baptized?if not,you should be baptized, that's very important.if i were your husband i wouldn't believe you at first to be honest.i hope this house left no physical damage on you.we must be more afraid of living people than of dead ones..I also had an experience with ghosts but to this day I still don't believe that I saw what I saw..I was just tired. The best thing is not to deal with demons, just leave it behind..don't go back into the house, because you will not be satisfied with the answer, no matter what the people who live there now tell you..your bad experience with this house, what does that tell you? it tells you that this house is not good for your family. god warned you and you followed god by moving out of this house..
We had a house right here in Fresno that was so haunted, not even black widow spiders would make their webs in it. It used to be a hospital where thousands of people died from malpractice and torturous experiments. In 2014, it was torn down. So far, the property is still unused.
I've been to the Myrtles Plantation. Children's hand prints and children's bare feet prints appeared on the bed in the downstairs bedroom. As I was standing in this room, with nobody in arms reach of me, a felt a tug on my shirt on my right side. Nobody was there or in arms reach to have tugged on my shirt.
I took the nighttime tour of the Myrtles Plantation and it was incredibly beautiful but very creepy at the same time. When I lived in Louisiana for a few years I toured about 9 different Plantation homes bc where I’m from and live now in North Carolina, all of the Plantations were burned down during the Civil War and I’ve always been obsessed with History and old homes.

I lived in one with my parents as a little girl . It was at a military base and some soldiers died in it . There were always sounds of people walking and shutting doors any time of the day. We were unharmed and lived there almost 7 years with all the strange sounds. It seemed like we were sharing a house
My brother didn't believe in ghosts until he moved into a haunted house in Silver City, Nevada. Whenever something weird happen he would say "It's okay, it's just the ghosts."
Not a haunted house, but my high school has had so much paranormal incidents that by the time you're a senior, you'll actually be numb to any supernatural stuffs happening to you at the school and brush it off like it's nothing..our school was built on a former Japanese military camp (during the Japanese occupation of North Borneo) where hundreds of people were beheaded...
@@foreveryoung213 lots of things happened... For instance a company of soldiers were seen marching on the school grounds, and none of them had heads.. Also, the girls' bathroom is occupied by a beautiful 'lady' wearing a blood red kimono... And we have a church (our school's a catholic missionary school) and while inside the church is calm and peaceful, the surrounding area is full of paranormal activities...and those are just the things that happens at the school, the ones that happens at the school dorms is a whole other beast..
Rockville correctional facility, was also built as a military base. It’s dorm 1 original structure still is literally and was built to be a bomb shelter Then a juvenile facility that housed both girls and boys. It’s now still Functioning as a Womens prison.
This is kinda a long comment so bare with me. I've lived in several haunted houses in Washington State. One particular house that we lived in. Me and my children didn't believe it was haunted at first. But then we started hearing children playing in the house. Maybe ages 4 to 7 years old or maybe even younger. We knew that it wasn't any one of us because My children were much older. So we proceeded to check all the rooms in the house. Looking for were the laughter was coming from. Didn't find or see anything. Walked to the basement nothing. Walked around the outside of the house nothing. At night the little ghost children would just jump up and down on our beds laughing and giggling. Sometimes you could hear them clear as day. And when they would leave the room you could hear there voices become faint. I ended up living there for 2 years with different occurrences taking place. Like the time I when into the bathroom i could hear some kind of musical instrument. I wasn't sure of what it was or where it was coming from. So I put my ear to the wall and I could hear it clearer. On the other side of the wall was my washer and dryer. I quickly went and got my kids so they could put their ear to the wall and they could hear what I heard. Come to find out it was a gramophone. On another day I woke up after taking a nap. And when I stood up I became dizzy. Walked to the stairs to go downstairs to the main floor of the house. As soon as I took the first step on the stairs I could smell the strong odor of gas. Left the house called the fire department and they came out. They called the gas company who send out one of there workers. The man had a spray bottle with pink solution in it. He sprayed it over the stove and you could actually see the gas shooting into the air. After that incident we moved out. Something was trying to harm us. After we moved out I went to the Tacoma Washington archives at the library to see who own the house in the past. I found out that the house was built in 1929 by a man who had a wife and several children. After they had lived there for a short period of time. He ended up committing suicide and taking his entire family with him. I almost fainted. That was scary to find out about.
im a believer but.... carbon monoxide and other gases causes visions and auditory hallucinations. Look it up. Get a gas company to come test the levels. It can be very dangerous. But it's just a possibility. Either way that's a crazy story. Glad you moved out of there!
P.S. I grew up in a house in North Jersey that was the 5th house on the 1705 foundations. The house I lived in had been built around 1895 but again, it was the 5th house built on those 5 ft. thick plaster foundations from the early 1700s. This place, not far from the GW Bridge, had once been part of a large Dutch land holding. So when the creeping noises through the walls, the late night patter of feet in the attic and the screeching in the middle of the night started, of course we were frightened but not overly surprised. The State of NJ investigated, a staff guy from the Museum of Natural History and of course several engineers looked into the matter without success. Finally, it was a guy from the Animal section of the NJ Dept of Agriculture, referred by the first State inspector, who found the "ghost". Remember, we lived practically a stone's throw from Fort Lee and the Hudson River (see War of the Worlds Tom Cruise) yet a family of racoons had moved into our attic, walls, basement etc. To say we children were disappointed ...we had become celebrities..."the family with the haunted house". So much for my experience with the paranormal.
Our family farmhouse is a late 16th century moated timber frame and I swear that it has the amount of ghosts you'd expect after 450years. The serving girl my ancestor killed seemed to take a shine to me as the amount of weird shit happening on the servants staircase freaks me the f out. We don't even use that set of stairs but if you lose something? You know where it'll be.
I've always been interested in the paranormal. More so now ever since I was diagnosed with brain cancer. My #1 favorite paranormal channels on RUclips is Twin Paranormal 🖤. Imho they are the best in the field 💯. I watch a few others as well (Haunted Nights, Kalani Ghost Hunter and The Paranormal Files). They have investigated some of these places.
It’s a shame how many people don’t believe in hauntings! I myself grew up in a haunted house that constantly messed with me. I was pushed down stairs. Had the most vivid night terrors all with the same figure of a demon in them. Disembodied voices that called my name and shadow people. The owners that bought the house from us found a hidden room in the house!
Oh, and my one sisters life size stuffed toy of My Pet Monster would move its head around to follow me while I was playing with my toys! Shit scared the hell out of me! Always had a major unsettling sense of fear and terror in that house! And my mom was super abusive, like abnormally monstrous towards my sister and I but when we moved out, it was like she changed to normal mom and she has no recollection of her abusive moments in that house! Come to think of it, she has no memory of any of the time in that house. Whenever me or my sister would talk to her bout any moments r memories in that house she doesn’t remember any of it!
@@nonoasailo9690that’s because videos and pictures today can be edited. I’ve heard weird stuff in our house. I felt bone chills a few times. Often times I do not. My girlfriend has told me her experience as a teen and what she sees and hears.
I was on holiday in western Europe around 1990s. The tour guide did not tell us the hotel we were staying in was haunted till we left. Then he asked all of us in the tour group if we felt anything funny while staying in that hotel.
Ghosts are time travelers who have lost the ability to return to their own time. Nothing physical can move between dimensions, so it's easy to confuse them with the departed as both must leave their bodies behind.
I believe some people can see into the other dimensions..i see unexplainable things happening on the daily by Spooks(ghosts)after acknowledging something not of this world ,i think demonic thinking it was a prank ,it wasn't ,,,abd since that happened i see things that are in the in-between....not here but not heaven or hell ..the in-between... A dark place..where souls get stuck ,,some dying some are already dead...And they can't pass on...or don't know how too.i know it sounds crazy...but Spooks ,angels and demons are all around us.
Actually I think its the other way around people are marketing ON the hauntings not saying its haunted to market it. Especially since most people would not really want to live there! Why not make money for those who want to see what its all about!
My house use to be extremely haunted, I have stories for days. I even saw a man that looked like goat once, I never ever can erase that image from my head. Point is, i started paying no attention to what was going in my house, i started praying more, going to church, i became very strong minded to ignore all strange activity and thank god everything stopped completely. Things were so bad that at 3ish am my brother and I would always hear 3 knocking noises behind his wooden bed shit was so terrifying. I’m still living in the same house and I can gratefully say nothing happens anymore.
I stayed in the Lizzie Borden. It was actually very comfortable and one of the rooms had the same decor as my grandmother's house. There was an aura to the place, but to be honest the house I stayed at Wilmington, DE was a hundred times more creepy. In that house it felt like the air itself was heavy and watching you. Super, super creepy. My grandmother's 120-something year old house has also been eerie. I wouldn't say terrifying, more... unexpected? Weight scale turned on by itself, one of my relatives said they saw a man in an older coat, and people staying in one of the bedrooms reported feeling someone touching their face and whispering. Everyone who's been in there actually say it feels comforting, like someone(s) is watching over you. The house is being rebuilt (the structure was failing). We thought stuff like this would stop, but my dad said something really weird happened in the basement. Which is weird because the basement never had a creepy event in it before and my dad's a major skeptic. If he said it was weird, it was most likely absolutely bizarre.
Unfortunately evil demons love dark and quiet places in homes. They hate Christian music and songs. Play Christian music loudly in you basement and drive them out. Demons only purpose is to distroy , hurt and kill.
Well you're wrong in one aspect, renovations actually stress and upset any spirits that reside there. Causing activity to usually intensify. Thousands of cases have been documented that a person decides to change up a building/house/space and any entity that has been lingering there will ramp up in what's thought to be protest. Kind of to scare someone off from completing the renovations.
It might be as simple as she defied him on something, or he learned she had sex outside of wedlock, or was gay or questioned the reality of god, or any number of things. As someone who was punished from beyond the grave by a parent who wanted me to bend to her will, I can attest that it doesn't take much for some people to get revenge through their Last Will and Testament after being crossed in even the smallest ways.

I lived in a haunted apartment in Toronto, Canada. There was a cemetery behind the building, which did not help. It did not bother me; they were curious about me and let me know they were there. For some reason, I was not that scared. A couple of years later, I moved for other reasons, not far away, and once in my new place, I had the urge to go to the old building and sit in front of it. I missed it; I felt this drawn for it...this lasted for about three months. I realized the influence they were having on me.

I lived in a house built in the 18th century. There was lots of crazy stuff going on. TV turning on by itself with no one in the room. Channel changes. Lights flickering. A vase of tulips opening as I sat writing a letter near them and closing when I moved away, I was talking to my BF about human suffering and the crucifix flew off the wall. We were both shocked. I shouted out: 'Enough is enough.' Thankfully the crucifix stayed in place after that, although the electrical stuff continued. I never felt threatened living there, funnily.

So here's something weird. A couple of years ago my parents were staying in a historic vacation rental in supposedly a former saloon and brothel in an old riverboat town. I saw an apparition of my mother passing from the bedroom to the bathroom, right in front of me... while my mother was actually up in the loft with my son. Same outfit, everything. No one else in the place but us. She was spooked and almost called a priest. I'd probably feel weird about that too, if it was her. For the next several months I had an ominous feeling and prayed that it wasn't done kind of foreshadowing of something happening to her.
I had a hair and makeup client who saw the face of a ghost in a hotel mirror. She didn’t tell her mum who was with her because she didn’t want her mum to think she was crazy. The very next day her mum told her that she had seen a ghost at the window.
I lived in a haunted house while in 6th grade. It wasn’t like things being thrown around or anything major like that but there were whispers in the house calling out your names sometimes, shadow figures, things would be moved but nothing more than being shifted slightly. Shadow figures mostly showed up in pictures or orbs but 2 incidents happened to me that I remember extremely well. My brother and I were sleeping on the living room floor while the movie Monster in Paris played, it was a school night and I’ve always struggled with insomnia, same with my mom. Since she couldn’t sleep she was cleaning quietly in the kitchen. I then heard a woman whisper my name from behind the couch that was behind me so I then got up and walked to the kitchen, scaring my mom bc she had headphones on and asked if she called for me, she said “no why would I do that? It’s the middle of the night and you have school tomorrow” I then told her I heard a woman whisper my name. She just told me to lay back down and go to sleep. I only heard it whisper a few times after that for my name but hid under the blankets bc I was more scared of oversleeping and getting in trouble with mom than a spirit 😂 Then my second incident was when my younger brother and I slept in my room bc he was too scared to sleep in his room that night, he was also scared to sleep in the dark that night as well for some reason so we had a lamp on, hallway light on and the bedroom door open plus a radio on bc I would get sleep paralysis if I sleep in silence but all my sleep paralysis experiences were just me being unable to move and I just stare blankly into the room, no demons or anything like that until that night. When my brother slept in my room and the radio was on, I somehow still got sleep paralysis even tho it wasn’t silent, I then saw a young boy in the hallway but he was blurry bc I can’t see far away, it was before I was prescribed glasses, he wore a white t-shirt and blue jeans. He had a blond-light brown buzz cut haircut and I couldn’t see his feet. And my mom sleep talks and at the time would have panic attacks and cry in her sleep so I heard her crying in her sleep in the room diagonal from mine so I can see her room door open. After a few minutes of staring at the boy he then slowly turned and walked into my moms room and as soon as he walked in and I could no longer see him, it all went silent. The radio, my mom sleep crying, crickets outside, etc. it just went silent and I then woke up to my alarm for school. I remember it all so detailed. We had a barn that was built in the 1700-1800’s in the front yard of that house that was crumbling down and caving in so we believed that was causing it. And across the street there was a creek where many people have gone to commit suicide or drowned.
I live about a mile from the Lemp Mansion and have been there several times. I’ve felt the presence that likes to hang out in the women’s bathroom on the main floor when the dining rooms for the restaurant are. The third floor is creepy AF. The atmosphere gets more and more oppressive as you go up those stairs. I’d totally believe Bothwell would haunt that prison. They kept him in an underground, lightless cell until he went insane and died some 10 years later.

I live in a almost 100 year old house, and the guy I live with, his family built the house doesn't believe that there could be others or other things that haunt the house besides his deceased family members. I have known for many many years about the white house and that Lincoln was still about. Id love to be able to see him too. That would be one worth seeing!
I never believed in this sort of stuff until we inherited a house in the Seattle area. The place was dripping with some sort of strange energy---Knocking on the walls late at night/Objects disappearing, then reappearing in weird places. (I once lost my keys, only to find them hours later inside the microwave!)/Shadows where shadows shouldn't exist/A voice that would mumble something randomly, day or night, seemingly from another room/The sound of small children playing at bizarre times/A cold spot in one of the rooms that would never warm up/Closed doors that would be open the next morning, or open doors that would be closed/The unsettling feeling of being watched.... Strangely, the house wasn't even that old. It was built in 1940 just before the war. Just as strange was that the people who lived next door were experiencing similar incidents in their home, as if the two properties were infected by the same thing! I rushed out of that house dozens of times at night trying to discover the source of all the knocking. It was those times I'd hear children playing outdoors, but could never pin down where the sound was coming from. Besides, what children would be outdoors playing at two, three, or four in the morning? Just a series of odd, whacky, stuff! Now when I hear about other supposed hauntings, I'm not so quick to scoff at those tales. I think to myself: "I don't know... Maybe!" There definitely seems to be more to this world than meets the eye, despite the assurances of scientists who claim everything has a logical explanation.
You don't say whether or not you still have the house. By now, though, you must have realized you have the gift of extra sensitivity to the way of things seen and unseen. No doubt it's been a nuisance at times, and unsettling when people around you don't have the gift, too. It must make you wonder if you're getting signals to DO something, to bring about peace or to send these spirits into the light. If you care to, you could contact a reputable medium to translate the phenomena into words or instructions as to what the spirits want. You're right, though, in my opinion, that these are usually people who did not know how to travel forth after death and are too scared to do it. Ask God to guide you to do the right thing, and use your sensitivity to help others even if they're unseen.

My mom was a cleaning lady there once and there was a particular room where she always heard noises and doors opening, closing, stuff out of place when she knew no one was in there. This hotel on the mountain side of catskill mountains was also already featured in a book about haunted places in New York state specifically...

My husband and I stay at the Lemp Mansion for a few nights every year for our birthdays (they're a week apart.) When we go in the end of March, we're usually the only guests in the whole house. That means we have full reign of the house to explore as long as we don't break or steal anything. I'm a HUGE believer in the paranormal and I'm one to make something really big out of nothing. That being said, unfortunately I've never seen/heard/felt anything while staying there.
@@riproar11- I think what she's saying is that because they're on their best behavior, (No wild parties or whatever), and the staff are somewhat familiar with them, they more or less have the house to themselves on a yearly basis. That being said, I had to look the place up. It's in the St. Louis area, and it's supposedly as haunted as it can be. What's interesting is that Ms.Tutterrow, who claims to be a big believer in the paranormal, has sensed nothing amiss while staying there. My question is... Why stay there in the first place? At 140 dollars a night, it ain't exactly cheap. Does the place have some sentimental value for this woman and her husband, or do they keep returning hoping to experience a haunting?

The Sallie House has to be top 5..maybe not in crazy activity but in the way it can affect your life, sleep, dreams, everything. It can drain you mentally just by spending time in there, and then you leave and it stays with you.
I've spent the night in three of these--Lizzie Borden House, Lemp Mansion, and Myrtles Plantation--and had a couple experiences, too. Didn't find any of them to be frightening, though, so I definitely recommend visiting for yourself.
My neighbour and I experienced horrific inexplicable noises and inexplicable things. Even my fearless dog would sit up and stare at something late night's. It was unsettling but never hurt us so we lived with the invisible entity for years
My family and I lived in an old _haunted_ house until I was around five years old. I don’t remember seeing ghosts, but most people who lived in that house had a paranormal story to tell. There were apparitions; unknown visitors who would come and look for someone but would suddenly vanish through exit doors that were closed from the inside; disembodied calls; a leg walking towards somewhere inside the house; money being burned while they were inside a small steel vault inside my parents’ closet; fresh human feces was thrown down in the middle of the dining table while everyone was having dinner and the trajectory looked like it was from the perfectly clean (with no holes or whatever) ceiling; sounds of someone taking a bath in an empty and dry bathroom; sounds of heavy wooden furniture rolling down the wooden staircase; a face popping up in a second-floor bedroom window with no pedestal or base to step on to reach that height of the window; and many more stories. Though I don’t remember seeing ghosts, I remember being pushed down the stairs one night when I was asked to get the diaper pins of my then-still baby sister. I was unconscious when they found me at the bottom of the stairs and was in a high fever days after. That incident gave me a lifelong sprain on my back and a forever reminder of what it was like living in a _haunted_ house.

At the place my cousin works there are ghosts as it was made on a graveyard. It is a carehome and at night when he does night shifts he and his colleagues here footsteps and you know those walking sticks banging on the wooden floor and and everytime he walks the light on top his head closes and also there are always noise of the residents pressing the bell but when you go and check they are sleeping. Even some of the residents say they see someone and say run away there is someone behind you and stuff like that and quite a lot of them start saying it just a few days before they die.

It turns out the house had been built in like 1830-ish and the wife of the original owner had died without having a child and she liked me. She was always around me, protecting me since there was no mom for me there. I described her perfectly to my dad like 15 years later. It was a cool experience.

Hi !

So it is definitely interesting to think that somehow having touched death you bring back a part of that with you. We live in a 100 year old house in Texas, built by my husbands grandfather. Although he died over 50 years ago, I've seen him at least 3 times, and our neighbor saw him on the front lawn, greeting him and watching him vanish! It's right near Jefferson High school.

It’s evil!

This is kinda a long comment so bare with me. I've lived in several haunted houses in Washington State. One particular house that we lived in. Me and my children didn't believe it was haunted at first. But then we started hearing children playing in the house. Maybe ages 4 to 7 years old or maybe even younger.
Wow!!!
Thank you for sharing. I hope you guys are okay now.
Every continent has this idk is it ghost or alien

Because most of them are fake and used for profit not saying your experience is false.
Cuz they ain't real. There's not a single video on RUclips that has legitimate evidence of ghosts. They are all either fake or can be explained

Ghosts are time travelers who have lost the ability to return to their own time. Nothing physical can move between dimensions, so it's easy to confuse them with the departed as both must leave their bodies behind.
Very interesting idea
I believe some people can see into the other dimensions..i see unexplainable things happening on the daily by Spooks(ghosts)after acknowledging something not of this world ,i think demonic thinking it was a prank ,it wasn't ,,,abd since that happened i see things that are in the in-between....not here but not heaven or hell ..the in-between...
A dark place..where souls get stuck ,,some dying some are already dead...And they can't pass on...or don't know how too.i know it sounds crazy...but Spooks ,angels and demons are all around us.
Anyone else notice that most of these places are houses you can rent a room in? Sounds like a good marketing ploy to me.

I only heard it whisper a few times after that for my name but hid under the blankets bc I was more scared of oversleeping and getting in trouble with mom than a spirit 😂
Then my second incident was when my younger brother and I slept in my room bc he was too scared to sleep in his room that night, he was also scared to sleep in the dark that night as well for some reason so we had a lamp on, hallway light on and the bedroom door open plus a radio on bc I would get sleep paralysis if I sleep in silence but all my sleep paralysis experiences were just me being unable to move and I just stare blankly into the room, no demons or anything like that until that night.

Love watching your videos ❤️
Maybe!"
There definitely seems to be more to this world than meets the eye, despite the assurances of scientists who claim everything has a logical explanation.

If he tied his son up in the stable, wouldn't that mean he was stabilized, not unstable? Lol. (Sorry. Couldn't help myself)
if i visited one of these i would die instantly, I'm afraid of abandoned houses
Why
I love watch others visited, but i don't dare......you kown, abandoned houses at midnight, sounds a place for criminals......
I am protected from scary places like this...I'd love to check them out !!!
I find it all interesting.I would love to visit any haunted place, and I'm a senior!
The Joshua Ward house in Salem. Judge Corwin, who sentenced 19 people to death during the Witch Trials, was buried in the basement
My brother and I are moving into a haunted house here in Texas soon and I can't wait. The house is over 100 years old and looks creepy from the outside. My brother isn't as enthusiastic as I am but, he'll get used to it. 😁
Cool! Def grab a camera if anything spooky happens! Lol 👻
Do you have any prior experience with dealing with the paranormal??
Why would you want to do that
I've heard that having a positive attitude makes ghosts less aggressive.

Who is the girl walking up to the Sallie House ... GORGEIUS !!!!
How can your channel be called top fives but it’s all top 15s?
Not the shade at the end 😂😂💀
I might be crazy but I'm not this insane to stay in any haunted houses
My friend and I were at the Sallie Hoise, and I felt like something was on my chest trying to keep me from breathing. Within 30 minutes of leaving the house, I had so much pain in my back I couldn't lift my foot high enough to step up onto the curb. (And no, I did nothing to injure myself) That was 5 or 6 years ago, my back has never fully recovered. It may sound crazy, but I plan to go back.
Will you not fear Allah
Charlie Sheen now narrates Top 5’s? Hmm

I went into a Haunted Mansion, in Anaheim, California, and there were ghosts everywhere. The caretaker, of this mansion, said there were 999 ghosts, and I was welcomed to join them, anytime. I got out of there so fast! I’m surprised you didn’t include this well known Haunted Mansion, in your story?
At the place my cousin works there are ghosts as it was made on a graveyard. It is a carehome and at night when he does night shifts he and his colleagues here footsteps and you know those walking sticks banging on the wooden floor and and everytime he walks the light on top his head closes and also there are always noise of the residents pressing the bell but when you go and check they are sleeping. Even some of the residents say they see someone and say run away there is someone behind you and stuff like that and quite a lot of them start saying it just a few days before they die.
Yess you delivered!
My house has some very strange activities such as lights turning off and on, flashes of light; shadowy shapes moving through the dining room. Always happens around 3am. ( I have insomnia sometimes)
Time to bless your home
They are trying to tell you something...
Just CHANT NAMO AMITUOFO! Just try! Good luck!
Leave the house as soon as possible.
Do not live there, go & shift elsewhere.
@@SanaZareenWarsi If you chant namo amituofo, they will either be delivered away or shift elsewhere.
Any house that is rented out by the nught as a haunted house requires a waiver be signed. The Sally house is not unique in this. I am sure there are waivers for other Vrbo type houses as well.
The house I grew up in, my parents still live there, is very haunted.
I'm a Paranormal Investigator and will be exploring alot of these soon especially The Sally House
