    can anyone explain my question
sir told that elevator should be deflected down during CLIMB to get a -ve moment which will counteract the +ve moment created due to static stability. But elevators are deflected upwards during climb.

what he mentioned is for a constant climb, and yes for a pull up (climb) elevator is deflected up and these things comes under manoeuvres.

He says that when you are in climb you have to give positive elevator deflection if your aircraft is set at trim for cruise. For climbing what is to be done is not explained here, it's only during climb what you have to do to maintain the trim at this new CL
