@ethanpeltzer perhaps, but it is kind of short for casting and that is not what it is truly designed for. It's a vertical jig rod. If I was casting off docks and piers, I would go back to an 8'6" rod.
@@samuelonishchenko3576 perfect! I fish from my kayak sometimes too, the trick is to stay over the top of your jig which sometimes is actually easier from a kayak than a boat.
