Enjoyed the video a few years back when you did the surf spots of north shore via drone and explained each. Maybe a video about Pipeline and each reef and the hazards of each and so on.. think it would be a good video
It’s so much bigger than it looks on film too I’d recommend to all surfers to stand before pipe and witness all those waves in person at least once in your life I didn’t try surf pipe out of respect that I was only there for 3 days but got plenty of action off the wall and rocky point
I lived on the North shore for almost 10 years. Even though it's super crowded now, there were definitely days when the circus was not in town and you could score waves. Just got to make the best have your opportunities when they come. There are late season swells that happen when sometimes there are not a lot of people around....back then

The hiearchy/pecking order at pipe is a given. Can't surf their w/out that knowledge. I wonder how many paddle out just to sit their knowing they won't get a wave.
You might get lucky on the right day, but like any heavy spot, you gotta pay your dues, day in, day out. Best to acclimatize to other north shore breaks over a winter season, getting familiar with the locals and acting polite, before hitting up Pipe. Dawn patrol would be a plus too.
